Chapter 474: Chapter 474: You’d Better Find Soone More Qualified

The figure erging from the Holy Sword was the Fla King.

Fang Zhou looked dumbfounded. Wasn’t the Fla King supposed to have perished together with the Abyss Watcher? How could she possibly be resurrected?

When he was fighting with Cheng Xing earlier, could this big shot have been watching the whole ti?

The Fla King was still dressed in her magnificent armor, looking sowhat bewildered as she glanced around with a puzzled expression, until she saw Fang Zhou and suddenly appeared to realize sothing.

“We et again.”

She said in the language of that other world, “Where is this place?”

Fang Zhou finally ca to his senses and hurriedly used soul conversation with the Fla King: “You’re not dead?”

After asking, Fang Zhou realized his question was pointless, and besides, she had died many years ago. He added, “Why haven’t you vanished?”

He had personally witnessed the Fla King and the Abyss Watcher’s Soul Fire perishing together.

“Because of this Holy Sword, my soul is harbored within it. As long as the Holy Sword isn’t destroyed, I won’t vanish.”

The Fla King reached out and took the Holy Sword back from Fang Zhou. Her armor and cloak transford into red light, rging back into the Holy Sword, leaving only a figure-hugging red dress that perfectly accentuated her mature and alluring physique.

Seeing this scene, a thought instinctively popped into Fang Zhou’s mind—what a figure, tempting!

Swish!

The Holy Sword in the Fla King’s hand suddenly pressed against Fang Zhou’s neck.

Her clear, erald eyes stared intently at Fang Zhou, and an emotionless voice echoed in his mind, “I am a king. You have repeatedly offended ; by law, I could sentence you to death!”

Fang Zhou suddenly realized that through soul conversation, every thought he had could be sensed by the other party.

He felt extrely awkward, never expecting his little fantasy to be caught by her.

“Don’t be impulsive!”

Fang Zhou carefully pushed the Holy Sword aside and sincerely apologized, “Sorry, I shouldn’t have let my imagination run wild.”

Caught on the spot, Fang Zhou didn’t dare to argue, especially since this person in front of him had overwhelming combat power. Offending her would not turn out well.

The Fla King withdrew the Holy Sword, a barely perceptible smile flashing in her eyes, “Since you only thought about it and didn’t commit an actual offense, I will forgive your cri.”

Fang Zhou breathed a slight sigh of relief, but when he captured the fleeting thought in the soul conversation, he suddenly felt like he was being played.

This queen wasn’t angry; she was deliberately scaring him.

However, Fang Zhou didn’t dare to let his thoughts wander anymore, lest he truly annoy her.

“Where is this place?”

The Fla King asked again, looking around inquisitively.

Fang Zhou replied, “This is a special space, and outside is the world where I grew up.”

The Fla King was slightly startled and turned to Fang Zhou, “Did you bring back?”

Fang Zhou felt awkward like being caught stealing a weapon, but then regained his confidence. He had taken it as a souvenir, and at the ti, he didn’t know the Fla King was still alive. Ignorance is innocence, right?

The Fla King sensed Fang Zhou’s thoughts, feeling both amused and exasperated, never expecting to leave the Black Soul World this way.

Fang Zhou cautiously asked, “Do you want to go back?”

The Fla King looked at Fang Zhou, “Whether I go back or not depends on you.”

Fang Zhou asked curiously, “What’s it got to do with ?”

The Fla King took a step closer, gazing straight into his eyes, “When the world was ending, the sages left a prophecy that destruction is not the end, but a new beginning. The Savior will appear, take away the Fire of Hope, and plant the seeds of light. You are supposed to be the prophesied Savior.”

Fang Zhou, shocked, pointed at himself, “?”

“Yes, you!”

The Fla King’s long calm manner finally showed a hint of excitent.

“Wait, that’s not right!”

Fang Zhou hadn’t forgotten what the Firekeeper said, that he wasn’t the Savior she was waiting for.

Fang Zhou told the Fla King about his eting and conversation with the Firekeeper.

After listening, the Fla King was very certain, “You were deceived. She wouldn’t admit it, probably fearing you would be under too much pressure. If you weren’t the Savior, she would never have let you take the fla away.”

So, there was such a thing?

How co a small cultivator like suddenly becos your Savior?

Fang Zhou waved his hand, “You might be mistaken. My strength is too weak. I can’t save the world. You should find soone else.”

He left unsaid a thought; is there really any point in saving a world in such a state?

The Fla King clearly felt Fang Zhou’s thoughts but wasn’t angry, “Strength has nothing to do with prophecy. It could be a chance coincidence, or things falling into place naturally. It doesn’t necessarily require strength. I believe the sages wouldn’t be wrong.”

Belief doesn’t help, ma’am; objective conditions just don’t allow it.

But Fang Zhou didn’t rule it out completely and only asked, “What do you plan to do next? Let state first, I absolutely won’t go back any ti soon!”

The Fla King understood what Fang Zhou was concerned about, “Don’t worry. I’ve waited many years, and I don’t mind waiting a few more.”

Fang Zhou felt helpless; this woman seed really convinced he was the Savior, “So, what do you want to do? Kill all the monsters in your world?”

“I’m not sure, but it probably won’t be that simple.”

The Fla King explained, “The way to achieve the goal is not important, only the result matters. The prophecy has shown us the direction, and we just need to move forward.”

Seriously, you’re giving motivational talks? What’s next, keep moving forward and never stop?

“What is chicken soup? Sothing to eat?”

Fang Zhou couldn’t help but hold his forehead. The soul conversation ability was a bit of a trap; once it’s on, it’s like both sides get a passive mind-reading skill, sensing each other’s thoughts.

Perhaps it was an illusion, but when ntioning food, the Fla King’s mood seed to elevate a bit.

After so back-and-forth, Fang Zhou finally concluded the prophecy was also a farce, offering no concrete thods, leaving everything to be figured out by future generations.

Fang Zhou was all too familiar with this kind of thing; if you succeed, it’s the prophecy’s credit. If you fail, it’s because you haven’t t the standards.

Yet the Fla King believed in the prophecy, certain that once the Savior appeared, it would surely co to pass.

“Forget it, just stay at my place for now.”

Fang Zhou gave up discussing the prophecy with the Fla King further. Since she said she didn’t mind waiting another decade or so, they could talk about it then.

His Moon Viewing Peak was large enough; supporting one more who freeloaded wasn’t an issue.

However, in her current state, she seed unable to eat.

Fang Zhou curiously looked at the Fla King, “Is your current body real?”

He was tempted to reach out and touch, to feel what it was like.

Not afraid of his thoughts being detected by the Fla King anymore, he’s the Savior after all, and fantasizing a bit wasn’t against the law; likely the Fla King wouldn’t do anything to him.

Sensing Fang Zhou’s thoughts clearly, the Fla King glanced at him as if looking at non-recyclable, non-burnable garbage.
