Previously, Fang Zhou could only control sixty-four Xuanyuan Swords. Although they were powerful, the quantity was too small, lacking the overwhelming might he desired.

It wasn’t until now that Fang Zhou truly experienced what it ant to have an overwhelming force.

Hundreds of sword shadows surged forward frantically, forming a dense golden curtain of swords, shooting at the advancing prison guards.

The prison guards only saw a blinding golden light coming towards them before they were shot down, falling from the sky one after another.

After suppressing the pursuit from behind, Fang Zhou quickly changed direction and shot the sword shadows at the prison guards flanking from both sides.

He now seed to be controlling a turret made up of multiple tallic storms, with the golden sword shadows as bullets and Innate True Qi as gunpowder.

Fang Zhou liberally pulled the trigger, unleashing countless bullets and slaughtering these approaching prison guards freely and joyously.

The sword shadows he launched were inexhaustible; as long as the True Qi was sufficient, he could produce endless sword shadows anyti, anywhere.

Even though each sword shadow was not as powerful as the Xuanyuan Sword, their overwhelming numbers ant each advancing prison guard faced multiple sword shadows simultaneously.

Though Fang Zhou was shooting pleasurably, the True Qi within his body was depleting rapidly.

He dared not linger in battle, attacking while retreating, choosing a random tunnel to dive into.

The prison guards were already infuriated by Fang Zhou, or perhaps they regarded him as an escaping monster. They did not give up the chase, following him into the tunnel.

The battle between the two sides continued from the prison into the tunnels, with Fang Zhou retreating deeper into the tunnel, continuously shooting sword shadows back at the pursuing prison guards.

The prison guards, fearless and dauntless, pressed forward despite the barrage of sword shadows, realizing they couldn’t get close; they then hurled scythes with chains at Fang Zhou.

Fang Zhou could only increase his attack output, knocking away the incoming scythes, while any missed ones were handled by Bi An.

The intense battle drew out many monsters from the tunnels, but upon seeing the fierce prison guards, the monsters retreated timidly.

Fang Zhou grew anxious; his True Qi was depleting more and more, yet the prison guards showed no signs of stopping and continued to pursue relentlessly.

What worried Fang Zhou even more was that the tunnel he hastily chose continued to stretch downward.

Going further down could lead to the third underground level’s cetery and sacrifice grounds, where the monsters were even more terrifying than on the second level.

But Fang Zhou couldn’t stop; if he did, the ferocious prison guards would tear him to shreds.

In this dilemma, as ti went by, Fang Zhou sank deeper underground.

He hoped to find a few crossroads along the way to change direction, but from start to finish, none appeared; it seed like a one-way tunnel.

Seeing his True Qi running low, Fang Zhou swallowed an elixir to quickly restore his Spiritual Energy.

He planned to use the Sword Slash maneuver for a risky strike, hoping to kill the prison guards and open a passage upward simultaneously.

However, before he could act, the entire tunnel suddenly shook.

The tunnel walls suddenly burst open, revealing a huge, ferocious head covered in thick armor, with a maw full of sharp teeth and claws below.

Fang Zhou flew past the tunnel just in ti, missing colliding with the centipede-like head by milliseconds.

The prison guards chasing behind weren’t as lucky, crashing into the suddenly appearing head.

Fang Zhou hovered in the air, a schadenfreude expression on his face, wanting to watch the two types of monsters clash.

The next mont, he saw the monster’s head open its maw and suddenly inhale mightily.

The hundreds of pursuing prison guards had no resistance, all sucked into the monster’s maw, becoming a grand feast.

Fang Zhou: (;°□°)

Before the monster could turn its head, Fang Zhou turned and fled at the fastest speed of his life.

Bloody hell, he initially thought those prison guards were formidable enough, but unexpectedly, an even scarier entity erged.

This monster, which easily devoured hundreds of prison guards, was likely a formidable creature from the third underground level.

In other words, whether Fang Zhou wished it or not, he had already entered the cetery of the third underground level.

After fleeing desperately for over ten minutes and realizing the monster didn’t seem to follow, Fang Zhou stopped to rest, deeply relieved.

But his heart remained high-strung, knowing just one randomly appearing monster on the third underground level was terrifying; the danger was self-evident.

He must be extrely cautious from here on, or risk a catastrophic mistake.

Fang Zhou took refuge in the gourd to rest and recover his True Qi, letting Bi An carry the gourd forward.

With that dreadful monster blocking his path behind, he dared not risk going back, so he could only continue forward.

Along the way, surprisingly, he didn’t encounter any more monsters, but Fang Zhou remained vigilant; in such a situation, either none appeared, or a bigger one would, giving minor monsters no chance to appear.

After exploring so distance forward, he finally ca across a few crossroads.

This ti, Fang Zhou did not choose recklessly, to avoid taking the wrong path and rushing into the most dangerous area again.

He erged from the gourd, holding the Black Broken Sword obtained at the Subli Church.

In Fang Zhou’s hand, this broken sword always pointed in the direction of its other half, attempting to guide him.

Fang Zhou intended to utilize this broken sword’s mysterious effect to find the right direction in this maze-like underground.

He placed the broken sword flat on his palm, and indeed, it wobbled toward a certain direction, corresponding to one of the crossroads.

Fang Zhou stowed away the Black Broken Sword, retreated into the gourd again, and let Bi An carry the gourd into this tunnel, flying forward.

They flew forward an unknown distance when they suddenly entered a vast, empty space.

The place was pitch black, with no end in sight in any direction. Bi An flew forward a while and, upon turning back, found the path they ca on had disappeared.

It floated in the darkness, completely losing its bearings.

Fang Zhou re-erged from the gourd, using the Black Broken Sword again to determine the direction and flew forward following the sword’s guidance.

After another long flight, just as Fang Zhou was about to lose patience, a glimr of light suddenly appeared in the darkness ahead.

He cautiously avoided approaching rashly, leaving the gourd in place and sending Bi An to investigate quietly.

Through Bi An’s shared vision, Fang Zhou saw the true nature of the light.

It was a campfire, with a woman sitting beside it.

As Bi An approached, the woman seed to sense sothing, slightly raising her head to look in this direction.

Without a doubt, Bi An was discovered again.

Fang Zhou felt quite helpless; it seed this substitute naturally drew attention, always getting noticed wherever it went.
