Chapter 210: 210. You can never have too many vests

Ling Xiaoyue’s technique has a frustrating yet humorous flaw: it causes hair to fall out during cultivation.

Initially, Fang Zhou thought it was just hair in particular areas, so he didn’t care much since it wasn’t visible to others.

It wasn’t until he reached Foundation Establishnt that he realized all hair would fall out, except for the hair on his head, eyebrows, eyelashes, and nose.

And when it falls, it falls in large clumps. Sotis, while showering, he would end up with handfuls of hair. Within a few days, he’d be completely bald.

Fang Zhou now has no hand hair, leg hair, or even arm hair left. His entire body is smooth like a duck plucked clean after being dipped in hot water.

He seriously suspected that this flaw in the technique was intentionally created by Ling Xiaoyue. Otherwise, there would be no reason for hair to fall out everywhere except for the visible areas.

Fang Zhou knew that so won had a peculiar affection for hair removal.

Now seeing Jin Xihai also completely hairless, Fang Zhou instantly rembered Ling Xiaoyue’s senior disciple, who was also his senior sister.

Could this cult woman be his senior sister?

Too shocked, Fang Zhou instinctively blurted out, asking if her master was Ling Xiaoyue.

Jin Xihai’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, revealing a hint of bewildernt in her eyes, but she quickly smiled and said, “So what if it is? So what if it isn’t?”

Seeing Jin Xihai’s reaction, Fang Zhou breathed a sigh of relief.

Whether Jin Xihai denied or admitted it, Fang Zhou would have doubts, but her ambiguous response made it unlikely that she was Ling Xiaoyue’s disciple, clearly trying to mislead him.

Thank goodness she’s not his senior sister. Otherwise, he would have to clean up such an indiscreet sister to avoid embarrassnt.

Fang Zhou summoned the Xuanyuan Sword and Sword Box back to his sides to fend off the skull’s attacks.

He himself held a gourd, approaching Jin Xihai.

If you don’t co to , I’ll go to you. Let’s engage in close combat; let show you my strength that rivals a pile driver.

Jin Xihai saw Fang Zhou approaching and grew anxious. However, the ghost heads and ghost energy from her Soul Summoning Banner couldn’t harm him.

Once he got close, Jin Xihai doubted she could withstand his terrifying and powerful physical body.

At that mont, a woman in the distance started to stagger up from the ground.

This woman was one of the three Black Yakshas defeated by Fang Zhou. She had been knocked unconscious by her exploding Jade Pendant and thus only had minor injuries, now waking up early.

Seeing Jin Xihai had taken out the Soul Summoning Banner, she showed a look of horror, hurriedly pulling out a crystal from between her legs, aiming the mysterious eye sealed within at Fang Zhou.

Fang Zhou also noticed the woman’s awakening and was preparing to send the Xuanyuan Sword to finish her off, but then he saw her pulling out an unknown object aid at him, instantly shocking him.

He wanted to dodge but it was too late. He felt wrapped in an invisible mass of water, his body instantly immobile. Despite his near 40-point strength, he could only slightly move his fingers.

Apart from that, his spiritual energy was not restricted, and his mind could still think normally.

Suddenly being immobilized, Fang Zhou felt panicked, but he quickly reacted, summoning his left hand from the gourd and using it alongside the Sword Box to fend off the surrounding skulls.

The Xuanyuan Sword then swiftly slashed at the woman aiming the unknown object at him.

“Well done!”

Jin Xihai excitedly shouted, realizing this mont was crucial, she finally poured all her spiritual energy into the Soul Summoning Banner.

The Soul Summoning Banner spun rapidly, unleashing hundreds of skulls which gathered together like a teor, bypassing the gourd and smashing down toward Fang Zhou.

That massive cluster could not be blocked by his left hand and the Sword Box alone.

Immobilized, Fang Zhou couldn’t alter the gourd’s position. He focused all his spirit on driving the Xuanyuan Sword, needing to eliminate the woman before he was crushed to death.

The Xuanyuan Sword sped up several tis faster than before, but the woman who had suffered from it before wouldn’t dare confront it head-on again, swiftly taking a step back to flee.

Fang Zhou had anticipated her escape, instantly casting an Illusion Technique.

The woman was caught by the Illusion Technique, stunned. When she snapped back, it was already too late.

A flash of sword light passed, severing her arm holding the crystal at the shoulder, with blood spraying into the air.

Freed from the mysterious eye’s gaze, Fang Zhou regained his mobility, hurriedly escaping from his original position.

“Boom…”

Hundreds of skulls brushed past Fang Zhou, crashing into his standing spot with a loud explosion, causing the ground to collapse.

A black iron token fell out of Fang Zhou’s clothes, swaying and landing on the nearby grass.

Jin Xihai, who was frustrated by her failure, noticed the iron token and even saw the symbols and carvings clearly.

“Suan Ni Token?”

Jin Xihai’s pupils shrank, instantly realizing sothing that filled her with both shock and anger.

This person is from the Demon Sect!!

No wonder she felt sothing was off when he claid to be a disciple of Xuanji Sect’s Yu Xu Wanderer. Since when did Xuanji Sect have such powerful male disciples?

It turned out he was from the Demon Sect, deliberately misleading them.

Jin Xihai’s mind raced with thoughts: Why would the Demon Sect pretend to be Xuanji Sect? Why co to save Fang? Why oppose the True Mother God Sect? Could it be the Demon Sect intended to break the truce between them?

While Jin Xihai processed these thoughts, Fang Zhou had already used the gourd to absorb all the skulls, leaving none behind.

With all the skulls gone, the rapidly spinning Soul Summoning Banner suddenly emitted smoke, instantly shrinking back to its paper form.

Jin Xihai suffered backlash from the Soul Summoning Banner, feeling a heavy blow, and vomited blood.

Fang Zhou had already directed the Xuanyuan Sword to slash at her.

Jin Xihai, unable to care for her injuries, curled into a ball, rolling on the ground.

“Escape!”

She disappeared into the ground in a flash.

Fang Zhou walked over, seeing a basketball-sized hole in the ground, depth unknown.

After Foundation Establishnt, he learned of his lack of knowledge about cultivation, often chatting with Yu Qing to accumulate useful and useless information, imdiately recognizing this as the Earth Escape Skill.

In the Cultivation World, many escape or travel techniques exist, and Earth Escape Skill is the least prestigious. No cultivator with self-respect likes this technique that involves digging underground like a rat.

However, it was considered a secret technique, not easily accessible to wandering cultivators. Those from major sects were just picky.

Not having learned the Earth Escape Skill, Fang Zhou didn’t know where Jin Xihai had fled, so he generously allowed her a way out.

Turning off the system prompt, Fang Zhou broke the limbs of the three won Jin Xihai had abandoned, tossing them aside. He also released the flute-playing woman from the gourd.

Then he leisurely walked to the grass and picked up the fallen Suanni Token.

Fang Zhou had intentionally thrown it out earlier, unsure if that woman had seen it. If she hadn’t, it would have been for nothing.
