The rain soon began to fall—heavy, relentless sheets pounding against the asphalt. The street darkened rapidly despite the faint glow of a few struggling streetlights, their reflections stretching like broken mirrors across the wet road.

Josh drove at reckless speed, tires splashing violently through puddles as rain hamred against the windshield. Beside him, Sabe sat stiffly, his gaze fixed on the blurred shapes of passing cars beyond the glass. His jaw was clenched, his expression dark, calculating.

"He told people at the hospital that he was traveling with his wife and daughter," Sabe said coldly, anger simring beneath his voice. "Even if they’re still alive, we kill him first and say it was an accident."

Josh kept his eyes on the road, gripping the steering wheel tighter.

"If he’s decided to be useless, then he has no right to bla ," Sabe continued. "Once he’s dead, we’ll find another worker in the pharmacy departnt to take the fall."

Josh nodded quickly.

"Don’t bother checking if the next one is married or not," Sabe added with a cruel sneer. "Just promise money. And make sure you kidnap one of their parents. That way, even while they rot in prison, they won’t dare open their mouth—or their parents die."

"Yes, boss," Josh replied imdiately.

Monts later, Josh suddenly slamd on the brakes, the car skidding slightly before stopping in the middle of the road.

"There!" Josh said sharply, pointing through the rain. "That’s Mr. David. That bastard!"

Without hesitation, Josh grabbed a machete from beneath the seat and jumped out of the car. Sabe followed closely, rain soaking into his clothes as they chased after the fleeing figure into the thick, shadowy bushes.

"Stop right there, you motherfucker!" Josh shouted.

Mr. David ran with everything he had, branches tearing at his clothes, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His life depended on it—and he knew it.

Hidden within the sa forest, Alex’s

dressed In all black stood in the cover of trees. Damien stood beside him, along with several ard n, all watching carefully.

"Have you called the police?" Alex asked calmly, a smirk playing on his lips. "I hate involving them, but they need to witness how much of a monster Sabe truly is especially since they’re handling the fetalyn case."

"I’ve already called them," Damien replied with a low chuckle. "They’re on their way. And Gabe is almost here with Matthew. "You and Gabe ended up reconnecting after all through this case."

"We haven’t," Alex added imdiately. "He doesn’t even know I’m here. You told him to co, but you never ntioned ."

He exhaled slowly.

"He’s trying to protect ," Alex said quietly. "But he’s the one who needs protection."

---

"Let go of , you motherfuckers!" Mr. David scread in pain as Josh finally caught him and forced him down onto his knees. Mud soaked into his trousers as rain poured over him.

"You really thought you could escape?" Josh snarled. "Where are your wife and daughter, you bastard?! Why didn’t you show up at the station? Who helped you?"

He raised the machete slightly.

"Talk," Josh growled. "And maybe....just maybe we’ll let you live."

"You’re a liar!" Mr. David scread back, his voice raw with fury and terror. "To hell with both of you!"

"Oh really?" Sabe said mockingly, stepping forward. "You think your wife and daughter are safe?"

He laughed darkly.

"You think the people who ’rescued’ them are safe too?" Sabe continued. "You’re dreaming. A dream that will never co true."

His eyes narrowed.

"I already know your wife gave birth," Sabe added casually. "Want to know how I found out?"

Mr. David’s face drained of color.

"If I already know that," Sabe went on, "then it’s only a matter of ti before she and that adopted daughter of yours are found."

Josh lifted the machete higher. "So talk. Who rescued them? Speak now or I cut your head off!"

Before Mr. David could answer...

"Is it true you don’t have a dick anymore, Sabe?"

Matthew’s voice rang out sharply through the rain.

Everyone froze.

Sabe, Josh, and Mr. David turned simultaneously to see Matthew standing there, rain dripping from his hair. Beside him was Gabe, seated in his wheelchair, a calm....almost amused smile on his face.

"No wonder you promised marriage," Matthew continued bitterly. "You thought I deserved you now that no other oga would even want you."

"You told him that?" Sabe snapped, rage exploding as he turned toward Gabe.

Gabe smiled warmly. "He deserves to know, doesn’t he?" he replied smoothly. "That you can’t fuck him the way you used to."

A burst of cruel laughter escaped him.

Gabe then turned toward Matthew. "And you already knew, didn’t you? That his sperm count is abnormally low. Untreatable. He can never impregnate anyone....not in this lifeti."

"What the fuck are you saying?!" Sabe roared. "That’s a lie!"

He pointed at Gabe, shaking with fury.

"Fine... I don’t have a dick anymore, and yes, that’s because of you and that bastard therapist of yours. But low sperm count?! That’s bullshit!"

He turned toward Matthew desperately.

"Don’t be fooled. You’re pregnant....that proves I can father a child!"

Gabe laughed again, darker this ti. "You think the baby in Matthew’s belly is yours?" he mocked. "How foolish."

He pulled out a docunt from the side of his trousers. Josh lunged forward, snatching it and handing it to Sabe.

Sabe read it imdiately.

His hands trembled violently as shock, disbelief, and despair crashed over him.

"This... this says the baby isn’t mine," Sabe whispered, his voice breaking as he looked up at Matthew. "This report—this signature—I know him. It can’t be forged."

He swallowed hard.

"If the baby isn’t mine... then whose is it?"

"Don’t fall for Gabe’s lies, boss," Josh said quickly, gripping Sabe’s shoulder. "Signatures can be forged."

Matthew laughed softly.

"I wanted to hide it from you," he said calmly. "But why bother anymore?"

His eyes hardened.

"You don’t have a functional dick anymore—and soon you’ll be in prison anyway."

Matthew placed a hand on his belly.

"Yes, the baby isn’t yours," he continued. "I knew from the beginning you couldn’t father a child. But you wanted one so badly that you believed the lie."

He looked at Gabe briefly.

"But Gabe never did."

"I ca into your life to give you a child that was never yours," Matthew continued coldly, his lips curling upward as sothing dark flickered in his eyes. "And also to inherit your properties."

He paused deliberately, watching Sabe’s face twist in shock and disbelief before continuing.

"But honestly?" Matthew scoffed, letting out a slow, cruel laugh. "I don’t think I need to get married to you anymore. Not when I’ve already gotten enough properties from you—even without being your spouse."

A burst of evil laughter followed, sharp and echoing through the rain-soaked night.

"And yeah," Matthew added mockingly, tilting his head. "I definitely can’t marry a dickless man. Your dick was literally the only good thing about you. Even though it couldn’t father a child, at least it existed back then."

He sneered openly now.

"But now? You don’t even have that anymore."

Sabe stood frozen, rain dripping down his face, his chest heaving violently. His fists clenched so tightly that his nails dug into his palms. His breathing grew uneven, shallow—dangerously close to losing control.

Josh quickly leaned closer, lowering his voice urgently.

"You need to calm down, boss," he whispered into Sabe’s ear. "We need to look at the bigger picture right now."

Josh glanced briefly at Gabe and Matthew before continuing, as he moved even closer to Sabe and began whispering into his ears.

"Let’s leave Matthew alone for now. We can deal with him later. Right now, this isn’t the ti. Let’s focus on Mr David first. The police officers are expecting us back at the station. Let’s kill mr David then fra that your partner Gabe for it. We can say he killed Mr David just to help you since he found out mr David was responsible for the distribution of fetalyn. So instead of handling the matter to the police officers, he handled it himself. "

Sabe said nothing. His eyes remained locked on Matthew, burning with rage, humiliation, and betrayal so deep it felt suffocating.

Then—

"Do you want to know who’s actually responsible for Matthew’s pregnancy?"

Gabe’s voice cut cleanly through the tension.

He raised an eyebrow slowly, a lazy scoff resting on his lips, his expression calm—too calm—like soone enjoying a carefully planned reveal.

Sabe’s head snapped toward him instantly.

"What?" Sabe asked hoarsely, his eyes widening further with shock and morbid curiosity. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

Gabe smiled faintly.

"I don’t think you’ll even be able to stay calm once you find out," he added smoothly, his gaze unwavering. "In fact... I’m pretty sure this will be the mont everything finally breaks as it is soone you’ll never expect such from. Soone you trust so much but still betrayed you."

The rain continued to fall heavily around them, thunder rumbling faintly in the distance—as if the night itself was bracing for what was about to be revealed.
