"I’ll arrange it right away!"

Jero Patterson said calmly, turning his gaze to Rastigne.

Rastigne imdiately understood Jero Patterson’s intention and turned to walk out of the office.

Before Rastigne could leave the office, Dean Oster’s voice reached Rastigne’s ears, "Wait a mont!"

Rastigne stopped and turned to look at Dean Oster again.

"Your Excellency Governor, how do you plan to get the residents of Libreville to accept your suggestion?" Dean Oster asked Rastigne with a serious expression.

"Naturally, by posting notices, telling them the dangers of not drinking boiled water!" Jero Patterson answered Dean Oster without hesitation.

"Your Excellency Governor, I can bet you that this will have no effect!" Dean Oster replied to Jero Patterson with a confident tone.

"Why?" Jero Patterson asked with a puzzled expression.

Dean Oster spread his hands and answered Jero Patterson, "Without seeing enough imdiate benefits and significant harm, no one is willing to follow the regulations!"

"But this order in the army..." Jero Patterson was about to refute Dean Oster when he suddenly realized that Dean Oster was right.

The army is able to adhere to the regulations because it is a group that strictly follows orders, which is why they can execute commands.

But Libreville is different. The people who originally established this base were not good people, therefore, the people who can stay in this base are mostly not virtuous.

To make them comply with the orders of the Imperial Governnt, strong thods must be used to make them obey.

"If you want these unruly people to learn obedience, you must employ so strong thods!" Dean Oster’s words also confird Jero Patterson’s thoughts.

"Dean Oster, I understand!" Jero Patterson imdiately changed his tone and said to Dean Oster.

Subsequently, Jero Patterson hoped that Dean Oster could accompany him to visit the dically unfit Foreign Legion (quasi) soldiers in the military camp.

"Certainly!" Dean Oster agreed to Jero Patterson’s request.

"Rastigne, go prepare a carriage!" Jero Patterson ordered Rastigne.

Rastigne quickly left the office, and by the ti Jero Patterson and Dean Oster ca downstairs, Rastigne had already prepared a carriage for them.

Around the carriage was a squad of infantry dressed in blue and white uniforms, each carrying a breech-loading rifle produced by the Mauser Company on their backs.

Jero Patterson and Dean Oster boarded the carriage, which moved forward slowly, with soldiers jogging alongside on either side.

The carriage left the Governor’s Mansion and headed west, soon arriving at the camp of the Croatian Foreign Legion.

Tents were densely arranged near the coastal area, and the sea breeze blew in from the sea, bringing a strong salty and fishy scent.

The carriage stopped at the entrance of the camp, and Jero Patterson and Dean Oster got off.

The two soldiers guarding the gate hurriedly saluted Jero Patterson, and Jero Patterson returned the salute with equal solemnity.

Led by the soldiers, Jero Patterson and Dean Oster ca to stand before Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic.

"Your Excellency Governor!" Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic greeted Jero Patterson simultaneously.

"Let introduce you!" Jero Patterson extended his hand and introduced, "This is Dean Eugene Oster!"

Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic warmly shook hands with Dean Oster in gratitude.

"The purpose of my visit is to inform you to transfer your critical patients to our hospital for care as soon as possible!" Dean Eugene Oster said to Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic.

Upon hearing Dean Oster’s words, Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic’s faces lit up with joy.

After all, hospital care is generally much better than care in the military camp.

"Dean Oster, what about the rest?" Mira Bo Pulekovic inquired again.

"The remaining people should also be gathered together and a designated area set up for unified care!" Dean Oster said to Mira Bo Pulekovic, "Since our hospital’s doctors and nurses are not sufficient to care for all the mild patients, the task of caring for those with mild symptoms will require you to assign so personnel!"

Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic imdiately agreed to Dean Oster’s request.

Then, Dean Oster instructed Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic to lead the way, as he wanted to see the condition of those critical patients.

Mira Bo Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic promptly led Dean Oster, and the group left the tent, heading forward to the tent where the critical patients were located.

"Here it is!" Mira Bo Pulekovic pointed to the tent and said to Dean Oster.

Around this tent, Dean Eugene Oster caught a faint stench, making him frown slightly and call out, "Major Mirabeau!"

"Present!" Mirabeau Pulekovic quickly responded to Dean Eugene Oster.

"How do you handle the disposal of excrent and urine?" Dean Oster asked Mirabeau Pulekovic.

"We haven’t established any special disposal thods!!" Mirabeau Pulekovic replied to Dean Oster.

"So you just pour the urine around the tent?" Dean Oster raised his voice at Mirabeau Pulekovic, pointing at the traces of urine beside the tent that hadn’t yet dissipated.

Mirabeau Pulekovic’s face showed a trace of embarrassnt, and he quickly apologized to Dean Oster, saying, "I will make them be more mindful!"

"This is not a matter of being mindful or not!" Dean Oster responded to Mirabeau Pulekovic with a frown, "Doing this could very likely lead to cholera!"

Upon hearing this, both Mirabeau Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic’s faces showed alarm, and Mirabeau Pulekovic hurriedly said to Dean Oster, "This... that can’t be possible!"

"Impossible?" Dean Eugene Oster smirked coldly and turned to Jero Patterson, "Your Excellency Governor, you must have participated in the Crian War!

Could you explain it to them?"

Jero Patterson relayed the regulations of the field hospital in the Cria Peninsula to Mirabeau Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic, emphasizing that these were conclusions reached through scientific study.

After hearing this, Mirabeau Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic imdiately assured Dean Eugene Oster that they would manage the camp’s sanitation.

"Your Excellency Governor, I suggest we entirely implent the sanitation requirents from the Crian War period army here!" Dean Eugene Oster proposed to Jero Patterson.

"I agree as well!" Jero Patterson concurred with Dean Eugene Oster’s suggestion, "Dean Oster, please go in and take a look!"

Mirabeau Pulekovic also implored Dean Eugene Oster to go in and take a look.

Dean Oster entered the tent and saw a soldier lying on the cot.

Upon seeing Mirabeau Pulekovic and others arrive, the soldier tried his best to stand up.

"No need to get up! Just lie down!" Dean Oster approached the soldier, looked him over from head to toe, and then asked about his current condition.

The soldier truthfully answered Dean Oster’s questions, and Dean Oster nodded to Jero Patterson and said, "I understand!"

The soldier, with a face of fear, asked Dean Oster, "Doctor, how is my condition?"

"Don’t worry!" Dean Oster reassured the soldier, "It’s rely a situation caused by the local environnt, rest for a few more days and you’ll be fine!"

"I understand!" the soldier sighed in relief and told Dean Oster.

"Alright! We will leave now. Rest well!" Dean Oster offered final words to the soldier before leaving the tent.

"How is it, Dean?" Jero Patterson asked Dean Oster after exiting the tent.

"There’s really not much of a problem at the mont!" Dean Oster replied to Jero Patterson.

"That’s good! Let’s go take a look at the next one!" Jero Patterson responded to Dean Oster once more.

"Alright!"

...

Jero Patterson and Dean Oster spent the entire morning seeing all the critically ill soldiers, followed by enjoying a hearty lunch in the camp.

Before leaving the camp, Dean Eugene Oster specifically urged Jero Patterson to have those critically ill patients sent to the hospital as soon as possible.

Dean Oster believed that within a week, they would be up and lively again.

Jero Patterson promised to transport the soldiers promptly.

Since Jero Patterson needed to deploy troops to the city to "reason" later, he allowed Dean Oster to leave first in a carriage by himself.

After Dean Oster departed, Jero Patterson sternly told the two regintal commanders, "You must rember what Dean Oster said!

I will give you the military sanitation regulations tomorrow or the day after.

At that ti, just strictly follow them!"

"Understood!" Mirabeau Pulekovic and Andre Milanovic responded in unison.

"Now, take a battalion of troops into the city!" Jero Patterson continued to issue orders.
