After contemplating for a long ti, Angelo Beichu raised his head with a determined expression and asked Jero Bonaparte, "Your Majesty, can you swear to God that you will never take action against the Austrian Empire!"

Looking at the stern cardinal before him, Jero Bonaparte imdiately understood that between his son and the Austrian Empire, he chose his son. However, out of a slight sense of conscience, he chose to serve as Jero Bonaparte’s spy in a self-deceptive manner.

If oaths could truly bind people, then Sima Yi by the Luo River and Chun Doo-hwan with the gentleman’s agreent would not have quickly changed their stances.

Of course, since Angelo Beichu was willing to place his hopes in the elusive God, Jero Bonaparte could also fulfill his wishes!

"Of course!" Jero Bonaparte nodded, and then swore under the witness of Angelo Beichu, "The French Empire will never proactively engage in actions harming the Austrian Empire!"

After the pretense of an oath concluded, Angelo Beichu eagerly asked Jero Bonaparte what position he was planning for his nephew.

"I plan to let him first serve as a secretary in the secretariat! If he proves competent, I will transfer him to a subordinate departnt to serve as a minor leader!" Jero Bonaparte proposed his plan to Angelo Beichu, "What do you think?"

Angelo Beichu nodded promptly and then continued to plead with Jero Bonaparte, "Your Majesty, could I ask you to do one more thing?"

"Go ahead! If it’s within my power, I will surely do it!" Jero Bonaparte replied cheerfully.

Angelo Beichu pleaded with Jero Bonaparte to introduce his nephew to a suitable wife when he reached the appropriate age.

"Your Majesty, I don’t seek imnse wealth and status! As long as the families are a good match!" Angelo Beichu said to Jero Bonaparte.

"Sure! Leave it to !" Jero Bonaparte nodded to Angelo Beichu.

After all, there were many fallen nobles in France, and at that ti, he could casually introduce one to Angelo Beichu’s nephew.

"Thank you, Your Majesty!" Angelo Beichu bowed once again to Jero Bonaparte.

"Bishop Beechu, where is your nephew now?" Jero Bonaparte asked Angelo Beichu.

"Your Majesty, he’s not in Vienna at the mont! I will order him to arrive in Vienna!" Angelo Beichu responded.

"It’s a pity I have to leave tomorrow!" Jero Bonaparte said while taking out a pocket watch from his pocket, "If he returns ho, have him bring this watch to Ambassador De Luyis at the Austrian Embassy, and he will take care of everything!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Angelo Beichu replied solemnly, accepting the pocket watch handed to him by Jero Bonaparte.

"Alright, it’s getting late! We should be leaving too!" Jero Bonaparte finished the tea in his cup, stood up, and shook hands with Angelo Beichu, "I am very satisfied with your tea, Bishop Beichu!"

"Thank you very much for coming, Your Majesties!" Bishop Beichu tightly shook hands with Jero Bonaparte and then bowed to both Jero Bonaparte and Augusta in response.

With Angelo Beichu’s farewell, Jero Bonaparte and Augusta left St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

"Your Majesties, shall we return to the Hofburg Palace?" the Austrian knight responsible for protecting Jero Bonaparte and Augusta inquired.

"No!" Jero Bonaparte shook his head and said, "First, let’s go to the French Embassy in Austria; it’s been a long ti since I t with De Luyis!"

"Yes!" The Austrian cavalry quickly responded to Jero Bonaparte and then instructed the carriage to take Jero Bonaparte and Augusta to the French Embassy in Austria.

The carriage swiftly reached the gates of the embassy, and the guards at the gate promptly reported to De Luyis upon seeing the carriage arrive.

At that mont, De Luyis was leisurely drinking coffee with the military officer of the embassy.

"Ambassador De Luyis, His Majesty Emperor Jero Bonaparte is staying at the Hofburg Palace! Shouldn’t you et with His Majesty?" the embassy’s military officer curiously asked De Luyis.

"et? Why should I disturb His Majesty?" De Luyis put down his coffee and asked the military officer.

"How can this be considered a disturbance? Shouldn’t we report the situation to His Majesty? It’s our duty, after all!" The military officer responded to De Luyis with disbelief.

"If His Majesty truly needs us to report, he will co here personally!" De Luyis responded calmly to the military officer, "Going there rashly will only cause His Majesty’s displeasure! So let’s just wait here quietly!"

"Ah!" The military officer still appeared sowhat confused.

Soon after, a soldier appeared before De Luyis and the military officer to report, "Ambassador De Luyis, His Majesty has already arrived at the embassy gate by carriage!"

De Luy quickly stood up, looking at the soldier before him, he asked word by word: "Are you sure you didn’t see it wrong!"

"Ambassador, I’m sure!" The soldier firmly responded to De Luy.

"Quickly, co with to greet His Majesty!" De Luy didn’t hesitate for a mont and turned to say to the embassy’s military officer.

The military officer quickly stood up as well and went with De Luy to the embassy’s entrance.

When De Luy and the embassy’s military officer arrived at the entrance, Jero Bonaparte and Augusta were slowly walking towards the embassy from their carriage.

De Luy jogged to Jero Bonaparte and then bowed to Jero Bonaparte and Augusta, responding: "His Majesty Jero Bonaparte, Her Majesty Empress Augusta!"

"Mr. Luy!" Jero Bonaparte smiled and nodded, comnding De Luy and the embassy’s military officer, "It’s truly hard work for you to serve away from your holand!"

"No trouble at all!" De Luy and the embassy’s military officer responded in unison.

Then, with the invitation of De Luy and the embassy’s military officer, Jero Bonaparte entered the embassy.

"De Luy, would you like to introduce things to !" Jero Bonaparte said to De Luy as he walked.

"Your Majesty, this is Lieutenant Colonel Willie Hunter, the French military officer stationed in the Austrian Empire!" De Luy hurriedly introduced Willie Hunter to Jero Bonaparte.

"Lieutenant Colonel Hunter, hello!" Jero Bonaparte stopped, extended his hand, and smiled at Willie Hunter.

"Your Majesty, it is truly an honor to et you!" Willie Hunter responded to Jero Bonaparte with a surprised and honored expression.

"Hmm!" Jero Bonaparte nodded and replied, "I’m also very pleased to et with you both!"

After a brief exchange with Lieutenant Colonel Willie Hunter, Jero Bonaparte turned the topic back to De Luy, he asked De Luy about his recent situation, whether there was anything he wanted to say privately.

De Luy nodded to indicate that he indeed had sothing he wanted to say privately to Jero Bonaparte.

"Lieutenant Colonel Henry, could you please give and De Luy so private ti!" Jero Bonaparte said to Willie Hunter with a touch of apology.

"Of course, Your Majesty!" The perceptive Willie Hunter promptly chose to leave.

"Augusta!" Jero Bonaparte turned his gaze to Augusta.

"I understand!" Augusta nodded and likewise distanced herself from Jero Bonaparte and De Luy.

Now only Jero Bonaparte and De Luy remained, De Luy stretched out his hand inviting Jero Bonaparte: "Your Majesty, please follow !"

Jero Bonaparte followed De Luy into a room within the embassy, where De Luy introduced the current situation within the Austrian Empire (Empress Dowager faction vs Empress faction), the Austrian Empire’s view of the French Empire (support outweighs opposition), and the layout he was undertaking within the Austrian Empire (establishing a foundation within the Austrian Empire, recruiting the elite within the empire through power-money transactions, constructing an intelligence network).

Upon hearing De Luy’s description, Jero Bonaparte couldn’t help but be surprised, then he exclaid: "Mr. Luy, I think you are more suited to intelligence work!"

"Your Majesty, being an ambassador itself requires gathering as much intelligence as possible to find useful information amidst a mass of useless information! This is an ability an ambassador must possess!" De Luy humbly responded to Jero Bonaparte.

Next, Jero Bonaparte inford De Luy of the event that occurred at St. Stephen’s Cathedral earlier.

"Your Majesty, does this an Bishop Becciu has beco our informant!" De Luy asked excitedly to Jero Bonaparte.

"Considerably!" Jero Bonaparte said to De Luy, "I hope you can make good use of Bishop Becciu, strive to plant more hidden lines within the Austrian Empire!"

The Austrian Empire will be our most crucial ally in the future, you mustn’t underestimate it!"

"I understand!" De Luy nodded and responded to Jero Bonaparte.

"You must expedite the establishnt of a comprehensive intelligence network within the Austrian Empire! After all, your ti at this position won’t be long! Paris still needs you to showcase your talents!" Jero Bonaparte reminded once more.

Hearing that he would soon return to Paris, De Luy couldn’t help but reveal a smile on his face. The reason he was tirelessly working here was to one day return to Paris.
