"I don’t know either!"

Under Princess Sisi’s eager gaze, Jero Bonaparte responded to her with a playful smirk.

Princess Sisi’s expression visibly showed disappointnt, and she pouted again as she replied to Jero Bonaparte, "Your Majesty, you’re lying!"

"I’m not lying!" Jero Bonaparte quietly retorted, then made up a random excuse, "I really don’t know if it was you! These were just scenes I saw in a dream, who knows if they’re real or not!

Maybe it was God, seeing sothing special in , giving a revelation!

Maybe it was just an ordinary dream!"

"It must be a dream!" Princess Sisi firmly responded to Jero Bonaparte.

"Why can’t it be divine inspiration?" Jero Bonaparte asked teasingly.

"Because, Your Majesty, you don’t respect God!" Princess Sisi replied confidently, "My father told that only those who maintain reverence and love for God can receive His blessing!"

"Then your father is wrong!" Jero Bonaparte shrugged and said to Princess Sisi, "Most people who get God’s favor are those who lack any respect for Him in their hearts!"

"You’re wrong!" Princess Sisi quietly countered Jero Bonaparte’s heretical views.

At that mont, the music abruptly stopped, Jero Bonaparte let go of Princess Sisi’s hand, gently patted her head, and affectionately said, "Good girl! Be obedient! Don’t talk back!"

As soon as he said this, the surrounding nobles looked at Jero Bonaparte with astonished eyes, hardly believing their ears.

An honorable monarch of a nation was playfully patting the head of another country’s empress, speaking as if coaxing a child.

Empress Elizabeth, who had her head patted by Jero Bonaparte, was also stunned, and after doing all this, Jero Bonaparte swaggered out of the dance floor, returning to the side of Empress Augusta.

Awhile later, Princess Sisi also returned with a look of embarrassnt.

Sitting next to Empress Augusta, she hugged Augusta’s arm and complained about Jero Bonaparte’s "outrage."

After hearing Elizabeth’s complaint, Empress Augusta gave Jero Bonaparte a glare. She really couldn’t understand why her husband always liked to bully younger ladies.

It was like this with Vilnius, and now with Sisi!

However, Augusta could tell that her husband really liked Sisi.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have spoken such affectionate words to her.

Of course, this liking wasn’t romantic love, but rather like a father to a daughter.

After all, who wouldn’t like a lively child like Sisi!

"Jero, don’t you think you owe Sisi an apology?" Empress Augusta said to Jero Bonaparte.

"I didn’t do anything wrong! Why should I apologize!" Jero Bonaparte shook his head and confidently replied to Empress Augusta.

"You patted an empress on the head and said so frivolous words in front of everyone! Don’t you think you should apologize?" Empress Augusta countered.

"But Sisi first asked a really silly question!" Jero Bonaparte argued.

"Sisi, what did you ask him?" Empress Augusta then asked Elizabeth.

Elizabeth recounted to Empress Augusta what Jero Bonaparte had said earlier, and Augusta’s expression also showed a hint of embarrassnt.

Although her husband wasn’t wrong (Empress Augusta wasn’t particularly devout either), he shouldn’t have been so blunt.

"If you don’t believe , go ask that old Pope Pius IX in Ro how much faith he really has!" Jero Bonaparte continued dismissively, then mumbled, "I don’t know who was the genius that invented indulgences! If God really could manifest, they’d strike that person down with lightning!"

"Your Majesty, please refrain from speaking further!" Empress Augusta felt that if her husband continued, things would definitely go wrong, so she hurriedly stopped him from talking.

Then, Empress Augusta patiently explained to Princess Sisi, "Sisi, you need to look at these things dialectically! If you believe God will protect those with faith, then He will!

An empress as kind as you, how could God not protect you!"

Then, Princess Sisi relayed to Empress Augusta what Jero Bonaparte had said after the start of the ball.

Empress Augusta skeptically looked at Jero Bonaparte and imdiately asked, "Your Majesty, did you really dream of Sisi?"

"Of course!" Jero Bonaparte readily admitted; he knew the more he tried to cover it up, the more flaws would appear.

He might as well just admit it, dispelling Augusta’s suspicion.

Sure enough, Jero Bonaparte’s honest response left Empress Augusta sowhat uncertain about his words.

Jero Bonaparte continued to say to Empress Augusta, "Not only did I dream of Sisi, but also of Franz, you, and Friedrich..."

"What did you dream about?" Empress Augusta inquired again.

"I dreamt that the Austrian Empire would be defeated in a confrontation with Prussia, forcing Austria to withdraw from Germany! (Qianqian surprised.jpg)

I dreamt that the French Empire I built was destroyed by the Kingdom of Prussia, hundreds of thousands of Prussian soldiers invaded Paris and drove us out, Friedrich was forced to flee with us to Britain, and then..." Jero Bonaparte said to Empress Augusta, half-truth half-false.

"And then... then what happened!" Empress Augusta eagerly asked Jero Bonaparte about the continuation of his "dream."

"Then I died in London!" Jero Bonaparte said flatly (both Princess Sisi and Augusta showed a terrified expression), "Friedrich grew up smoothly! (Jero Bonaparte thought it was really not very good to give his son an Éugène Bonaparte script!)"

"Oh God!" Empress Augusta’s face showed a look of panic and unease, as if she believed in the world Jero Bonaparte described.

"But how exactly did Prussia win against both our countries?" Princess Sisi’s words snapped Empress Augusta back to reality.

"Yeah! How exactly did the Kingdom of Prussia win!" Empress Augusta also asked Jero Bonaparte.

"I really don’t know!" Jero Bonaparte shrugged while responding to Empress Augusta, "Augusta, I just dreamt about these, I didn’t actually experience them! How could every detail be presented?"

After thinking for a mont, Augusta concluded, "Your Majesty, it must be because you are overly worried about the Kingdom of Prussia that you dreamt these! Yes, it must be like this!"

"Probably!" Jero Bonaparte replied perfunctorily.

"Your Majesty, then about my dreams..." Princess Sisi also asked Jero Bonaparte.

"I don’t know, don’t ask !" Jero Bonaparte shook his head and replied to Princess Sisi.

He realized that no matter what kind of woman, there was a spirit of digging deeper into everything.

So he decided not to say more, anyway, history was constantly changing under his influence.

As for where the future could lead, that depended on the gas between nations.

Soon after, another group of people invited Jero Bonaparte and others to dance.

This ti Jero Bonaparte accepted an invitation from a noblewoman to dance.

During the dance, the noblewoman kept brushing against Jero Bonaparte intentionally or unintentionally.

"Madam, I think you should consider applying to be a pole dancer!" Jero Bonaparte said earnestly to the noblewoman.

"Your Majesty, what is a pole dancer!" the noblewoman sweetly replied to Jero Bonaparte.

"A pole dancer is soone who wears bold clothing and performs so seductive moves around a pole!" Jero Bonaparte explained to the noblewoman: "However, this usually only happens in taverns!"

The noblewoman’s expression froze instantly, realizing that the Emperor was implying sothing about her.

"Your Majesty, I..." the noblewoman wanted to explain that she was not like those won the Emperor ntioned.

Jero Bonaparte imdiately interrupted, "Madam, let’s just quietly finish this dance, shall we!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" the noblewoman had to obediently finish the dance with Jero Bonaparte.

After the dance ended, Jero Bonaparte let go of the noblewoman’s hand and comnted, "Madam, if you didn’t do those unnecessary actions, you’d be a great dance partner!"

After saying this, Jero Bonaparte turned and left the noblewoman, leaving her to stand alone in sha.

...

The ball continued until 1 a.m., when the celebrities and nobles bid farewell to Jero Bonaparte and Franz Joseph.

At 2 a.m., after saying goodbye to everyone, Jero Bonaparte and Franz Joseph went to rest.

"See you tomorrow, Franz!" Jero Bonaparte said while yawning, waving to Franz Joseph.

"See you tomorrow!" Franz Joseph waved back.

Under Countess Raphaelt’s guidance, Jero Bonaparte went to a bedroom in the Hofburg Palace to rest.

"Your Majesties, if there’s anything you need, just call!" Countess Raphaelt bowed to Jero Bonaparte and Augusta.

"Madam Raffalat, you’ve worked hard too! Have a good rest!" Jero Bonaparte responded to Countess Raphaelt.

"May Your Majesty and the Empress have sweet dreams!" Countess Raphaelt closed the door.

Jero Bonaparte, lying in bed, bored, asked Augusta, "By the way, when did Franz say we’d depart during the ball?"

"The day after tomorrow!"
