"Your Majesty, please rest assured! I will definitely complete the task you entrusted to with utmost caution!"

Bashirio imdiately bowed to Jero Bonaparte, declaring his standpoint with righteous words.

He already regarded this action as a test given to him by Jero Bonaparte. If he could fulfill it perfectly, then securing the position of Royal Chief Steward was undoubtedly certain.

On the contrary, if he could not ensure completion, then this position might very likely belong to soone else.

For the Emperor could not appoint soone lacking capability to such a crucial post as the Royal Chief Steward. (Mo Ka’er: Say it again!)

Upon hearing Bashirio’s assurance, Jero Bonaparte slightly smiled and encouraged Bashirio: "I look forward to you providing with satisfactory results!"

Subsequently, Jero Bonaparte inford Bashirio that his research period would start now and continue to the end of the year, indicating that Bashirio had sufficient preparation ti.

"Understood!" Bashirio saluted Jero Bonaparte again, responding with a firm tone.

"Alright, you may return to your work!" Jero Bonaparte waved his hand ordering Bashirio to leave, and then gave Bashirio a reminder: "By the way! If Mo Ka’er inquires about why I called you, you can tell him that I asked you about the Protective Umbrella Research Institute. You don’t need to tell him anything else, understood?"

"Understood!" Bashirio nodded his response.

"Alright, you may go!"

Bashirio slowly left Jero Bonaparte’s study, and as he walked through the corridor, he "happened" to et Mo Ka’er face-to-face.

"Mr. Bashirio!" Mo Ka’er smiled and nodded at Bashirio.

"Chief Steward Mo Ka’er!" Bashirio couldn’t help but raise a trace of vigilance in his heart, yet his expression remained smiling like Mo Ka’er.

"When did you arrive?" Mo Ka’er continued to ask Bashirio, seemingly unaware of Bashirio’s visit.

"By the grace of Your Majesty, I just arrived!" Bashirio replied to Mo Ka’er with a face full of sincerity and then curiously sized up Mo Ka’er: "However, Chief Steward Mo Ka’er, were you called away for sothing else just now?"

"What do you an?" Mo Ka’er was taken aback and asked.

Bashirio earnestly explained that previously, His Majesty always sent Mo Ka’er to inform him of eting ssages; this ti it wasn’t Mo Ka’er, aning Mo Ka’er must have been called for sothing else.

Mo Ka’er’s face revealed an awkward smile upon hearing this, and he imdiately responded: "This task was supposed to be carried out by , but I just happened to go out for a bit, which is why I missed this opportunity!"

Mo Ka’er would not confess to Bashirio that he was completely unaware of the Emperor’s summons for Bashirio.

Had it not been for soone at the Tuileries Palace secretly notifying Mo Ka’er of Bashirio’s arrival, Mo Ka’er would still be in the dark.

This made Mo Ka’er suspect whether the Emperor was having a crisis of confidence in him.

Right now he must not let Bashirio see through, or else he wouldn’t know how to lead the entire Tuileries Palace.

"So that’s the reason!" Bashirio seed to understand suddenly, smiling again at Mo Ka’er: "Chief Steward Mo Ka’er, you tirelessly manage all the affairs of the Tuileries Palace, such hard work!"

Mo Ka’er modestly waved his hand, responding to Bashirio: "Not hard at all! Not hard at all! You are the one who truly works hard, managing a large group of nearly ten thousand people!"

"All for Your Majesty’s service!" Bashirio said to Mo Ka’er, "No matter how hard, one must proceed!"

"Who would disagree?" Bashirio’s words resonated with Mo Ka’er.

Sotis the tasks assigned by His Majesty were indeed too difficult to complete!

Yet he still must grit his teeth and continue persistently.

"Chief Steward Mo Ka’er, if you have nothing else for , then I’ll take my leave!" Bashirio looked at the ti and said to Mo Ka’er.

"Let escort you!" Mo Ka’er hastened to show affability to Bashirio.

"Aren’t you going to the study?" Bashirio feigned surprise, pointing to the study at the end of the corridor, asking Mo Ka’er.

"No!" Mo Ka’er shook his head, responding to Bashirio: "I’m just wandering around the hall area, always ready for His Majesty’s call!"

"Then I impose on you!" Bashirio responded to Mo Ka’er.

Mo Ka’er walked down the stairs with Bashirio, during which Mo Ka’er tentatively asked Bashirio the purpose of the Emperor’s summons.

Bashirio handled Mo Ka’er according to Jero Bonaparte’s instructions, and Mo Ka’er deeply believed Bashirio’s words.

After all, His Majesty’s emphasis on the Protective Umbrella Research Institute could be considered a primary concern.

As the ti for departure approached, Mokar held Mr. Baxilio’s hand and responded, "Mr. Baxilio, you really have worked hard!"

"Mr. Mokar, so have you!" Mr. Baxilio said while withdrawing his hand from Mokar’s grip.

Under Mokar’s gaze, Baxilio boarded the carriage heading back to the Northern Industrial Group in Paris and gradually disappeared from view.

Watching the carriage receding into the distance, Mokar murmured to himself, "If not Baxilio, then who would it be! Or maybe I’m just overthinking!"

Before Mokar could return to the Tuileries Palace hall, a servant appeared in front of him, informing Mokar that the Emperor wanted to see him.

Mokar was stunned for a few seconds, feeling slightly uneasy inside. He didn’t understand why the Emperor wanted to summon him at this mont.

"I understand!" Mokar nodded, then jogged to the study door of Jero Bonaparte, gently knocking on it.

"Please co in!" Jero Bonaparte’s voice reached Mokar’s ears.

Mokar hurriedly pushed the door open and entered, "Your Majesty!"

Inside the room, Jero Bonaparte glanced at Mokar with a faintly panicked expression, and his face imdiately showed a friendly smile, "Mokar, have a seat!"

"I dare not!" Mokar responded apprehensively.

"Sit as I asked!" Jero Bonaparte deliberately displayed an unhappy expression, and Mokar quickly sat down.

Jero Bonaparte then inford Mokar that at the end of September he would travel to Vienna with Empress Augusta, and from Vienna proceed to Krakow-Warsaw.

Moreover, Mokar needed to accompany him to Vienna.

"Your Majesty, what about the Tuileries Palace..." Mokar quickly inquired of Jero Bonaparte.

"There’s no need to worry about the Tuileries Palace! I will have Percy and Jero Patterson (now the Emperor’s Aide) manage it. As your forr leader, Percy does have so experience in this area!" Jero Bonaparte said to Mokar.

"Since it’s like this, then I am relieved!" Mokar’s face revealed a forced smile. He couldn’t tell whether the Emperor trusted him or not.

If distrust was the case, then why take him along to Vienna.

With just a command, Mokar’s position as Royal Chief Steward could be removed,

Yet if it was trust, why would the Emperor suddenly specify that he must accompany him?

In past visits, there were no specific stipulations.

"Alright, take this ti to prepare a little!" Jero Bonaparte patted Mokar’s shoulder and said earnestly, "Quickly complete the handovers that need to be done, and quickly advise on matters that need advising! However, I believe Percy, who once held this position, should be able to readapt to this identity!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Even though feeling reluctant, Mokar had no choice but to lower his head.

The status of Royal Chief Steward originates from Jero Bonaparte’s authority and not from a self-ford power group like those of Fuld, Mol, and others. (Although Jero Bonaparte could easily dismantle this power group, forcibly doing so would slightly harm his prestige within the Bonaparte Party.)

After Mokar left, Jero Bonaparte had Percy summoned again, telling him of his intention to temporarily stand in for Mokar on the trip to Vienna. All matters of the Tuileries Palace, more precisely all of Mokar’s affairs, would be entrusted to Percy and Jero Patterson to jointly manage.

Upon hearing this, Percy quickly promised Jero Bonaparte that he would assist Lieutenant Colonel Jero Patterson in managing all affairs of the Tuileries Palace.

...

Soon it was late September, after a confrontation lasting half a month, and amidst Marguerite’s pillow talk during this half month.

The French Empire and the Kingdom of Belgium finally reached an agreent on the coal and steel alliance.

The French Empire and the Kingdom of Belgium would establish an institution surpassing both nations, responsible for coordinating and regulating the production, price, and resource distribution of coal and iron mines between France and Belgium.

This institution would elect eight mbers, pivotal decision-makers within the institution.

In fairness, half of these mbers would be Belgian, while the other half would be French.

However, the institution would expand as more countries join, gradually increasing personnel.

Yet, to prevent issues of contention with excessive numbers, the maximum number of mbers is capped at 12, aning with more countries joining, the number of mbers from France and Belgium would inevitably decline.

Each mber must receive unanimous approval from all countries to be appointed, with a tenure of 4 years in office!

The Luxembourg Duchy would also beco the headquarters of the coal and steel institution.

This counted as Jero Bonaparte indirectly granting benefits to the people of Luxembourg, who would enjoy the advantages brought by this coal-steel community.
