Chapter 641: Chapter 641

Chapter 641

"This... this is the work of the Supre Magus," Da replied calmly, making everyone stare at him in awe and surprise.

"Huh?" Lance mumbled as he leaned forward, eyes glued to the gauntlets that had appeared from seemingly nowhere and settled around Da’s hands like they belonged there from the start.

"What does it even do? I don’t get it," Brook asked, his brow raised while he studied the strange weapon.

"So what now? Because it can hide inside your skin, we are suddenly supposed to care?" Killian muttered, confusion and annoyance mixing on his face.

"No. Think back to my battle with Beatrix. You were there that day," Da said as he turned toward Killian.

Killian’s brows wrinkled harder. "I still don’t see the connection."

"What does your fight with Beatrix have to do with this thing?" Alba asked as she stood slowly, her eyes narrowing.

"That is because this weapon is special," Da began, and everyone leaned in quietly, the atmosphere suddenly heavy. "Not only can it camouflage itself into my skin, making it look like I carry no weapon at all, it can also fire out visible Ki fists."

"Wait, what?!" Ash shouted as he shot up from his chair, his robe brushing the floor.

"Yes," Da replied while sweeping his gaze around the room. "I know it sounds unbelievable. If soone had told

that a stage four warrior could shoot visible Ki projectiles, I would have laughed and walked away. But I used it that day against Beatrix, and it worked."

"And we are supposed to swallow that?" Lance scoffed as he stepped forward. "We all know stage one to four warriors cannot display visible Ki. Only stage five and above can. Yet you claim you fired visible Ki fists with those gauntlets? Rubbish."

Da sighed and opened his mouth to respond.

"How do I..."

"He isn’t lying," Killian cut in suddenly, his voice low. His head dipped slightly as his mory drifted back to the chaotic battle with the Umbrafell faction.

He could still picture it.

Beatrix’s monstrous killing intent.

Da’s frantic movents.

The mont he glimpsed a burst of Ki flying from Da’s direction.

At the ti, he thought it ca from Beatrix.

Now he knew better.

"Huh? What do you an he isn’t lying?" Lilly questioned as she turned toward Killian.

Killian inhaled and slowly lifted his head. "I rember it clearly now. He really fired a visible Ki fist at Beatrix. Those gauntlets and the pills helped him survive that battle."

Complete silence filled the room before everyone gasped collectively.

"And this pair of gauntlets was created by the Supre Magus," Da added as he extended his arms again for them to inspect.

"Why... why didn’t you tell us this earlier, Da?" Alba asked, her brows tightening into a deep frown.

Da’s hands curled at his sides. His voice dropped slightly. "Just because we work together does not an I belong to your clan. I am still an heir of the Demonic Clan. Even though I sowhat trust you all, I still do not trust you completely."

He exhaled hard, shoulders stiffening. "There are things I simply cannot reveal unless necessary."

The room fell quiet again.

"Who knew? Maybe one day you could stab

in the back. And with how desperate you were to pull the Supre Magus to your side, of course I was wary," Da muttered.

His shoulders slumped as he dragged both palms slowly across his face.

"So I hid the fact that he could modify and enchant weapons. That was going to be my leverage, my advantage over you. But well, I lost it now."

He shook his head, releasing a long breath through his nose.

’This is... I don’t even know what to think anymore,’ Alba thought as she rubbed her forehead.

She almost felt the urge to rip strands of her crimson hair out of sheer frustration.

’Damn it. What kind of person is this Supre Magus? His potential just keeps rising. His usefulness keeps climbing. And I can’t lie... I want him on my side even more.’

’A modified weapon? What kind of monster is he really?’ Ash wondered with a faint frown as he studied the masked figure who stood quietly with both hands tucked inside his pockets, watching the room like he was observing children quarrel.

"I know what you are thinking," Grey said suddenly, snapping Alba out of her thoughts.

His voice was calm, confident, almost annoyingly relaxed. "You want

to modify or enchant weapons for your clan mbers, right?"

Alba clenched her fists on the table. Her head remained bowed, her mind racing, her thoughts scattered.

Grey continued, "I’m not heartless. Even though every single one of you looked down on

today, I will still help you. I will modify your weapons."

Everyone stared at him in open shock when a faint smirk curved beneath the mask.

"But on one condition," he added.

"Condition? What is it?" Alba asked as she slowly lifted her head.

"My plan to take over the Aetherian faction... even if you don’t send your entire clan, I still need your support.

Lend

your strength in this fight, and I promise to keep crafting weapons for you. I will keep upgrading all of you in whatever way I can. That is my only condition."

Silence fell instantly. Heavy. Waiting. Almost suffocating.

’I can’t believe it,’ Da thought as his mouth fell slightly open. He rubbed his temples, stunned. ’He really outsmarted Alba. He cornered her perfectly. This man... his mind... what kind of genius is this? And he is right; his usefulness has skyrocketed. None of them would dare reject this.’

’Damn it, damn it, damn it!’ Alba cursed in her mind as her nails dug into her palms.

’He boxed

into a corner. If I refuse, another clan will snatch him up, and they will beco unstoppable.

He helped Da win a battle everyone thought was suicide. If he crafts weapons for us, we would be unmatched. Stronger. Fearso. Maybe even capable of crushing the Aetherian faction.’

Her breaths deepened.

’Should I accept? Or decline? If I decline, I lose him. If I accept... I’m walking into madness with him.’

"So what do you say?" Grey asked, staring directly at her. "Ti is running out. I don’t have much of it left."

Alba clenched her jaw.

’Damn it. Screw it.’

"I accept," she declared.
