Chapter 637: I’m Listening
Chapter 637
Grey let out a breath as he glanced up to look at the warrior. "Can you strike up a eting with them for ?"
"Huh?!" Da muttered in confusion as he raised an eyebrow at the Supre Magus. "A eting with the Crimson Lotus Clan? Why do you want to et them?"
Sigh!
"I just want to et the clan that decided to partner up with an unknown being to sell his product, and I kind of have sothing to discuss with them. It is urgent, and I cannot tell you right now until I et them myself." Grey replied calmly as he stared at the warrior in front of him.
"So what do you say? Is it possible to set up a eting?"
’Damn, what can I do huh? Alba also requested a eting with him a while back and I purposely delayed it, but now he seeks a eting with her himself, so I guess I can inform them.’ Da sighed inwardly as he rubbed his temples with a small frown on his face.
"Yeah sure, I can do that. When do you want to et?" He finally asked.
"Tomorrow, if possible. They can choose the location, but the day should be tomorrow." Grey replied sternly. "I do not care if they have a mission tomorrow or not, it better be postponed."
"Sheesh, you are now acting like the boss here." Da muttered with a chuckle as he turned around. "This can work, but one thing you should know is that,"
"Huh?" Grey muttered as he saw the warrior tilting his head his way.
"Keep your arrogance to yourself when you et with them. Do not offend the leader of the clan, she is powerful." Da completed his words as he shut the door behind him and walked away.
"Oh really?" Grey whispered with a smirk on his face hidden beneath the mask. "I have dealt with people more powerful than that. I think I can manage."
Sigh!
Grey let out as he pulled the mask off his face and dropped down the hood of his robe, letting his red hair flow freely as he lay on his back on the bed.
"Luckily, even though everybody knew I did not have the mark of this world, nobody complained. Ever since the tournant, the principal has not been seen again so the decision of what should be done to
has not been made yet.
And according to Yami sir, I might get killed if anybody realises I do not have the mark. Damn it, before I get executed, I need to take down those damn leaders as fast as possible." Grey muttered as he clenched his hands in the air, staring at the ceiling in deep thought.
’Which is why I requested this eting. According to Da, the clan consists of seven mbers and each one is strong on their own. If I can get the help of the Lotus Clan, find a way to level up my ki and magic more, I could have a solid shot against the leaders soon.
But will the Lotus Clan accept to help
though? What would bind them to agree? Why would they risk their reputation and position just to help ? Hmm, I need to think of a way to turn this eting in my favour as soon as possible.’ Grey thought with a deep frown on his face as he now rose up from the bed and decided to ditate.

’I wonder why the Supre Magus demands a eting with the Lotus Clan.’ Da thought as he could be seen outside the inn, heading sowhere as fast as he could.
’Damn it, I wonder why the Lotus Clan do not have a definite base. Locating them is always a hassle for
since I have to check several places.’ the warrior spat inwardly in anger. ’Or maybe I should check up on Ash, at least he has a definite place, and with his help, I can locate Alba.’
"Or wait." Da mumbled as he suddenly halted in the middle of the street and quickly dragged his palm across his face. "Fool, have you forgotten what today is? Tch, I know where she would be by this ti."
With that thought, Da changed his route and began walking sowhere else with a bit more urgency in his pace.
A few minutes later, he could be seen walking into a bar. Pushing the door open, he did not even bat an eyelid at the other custors scattered around the room as he quickly glanced up toward the VIP area. The sll of strong alcohol and the low chatter filled the air, but he ignored all of it.
Without hesitation, he began walking toward the VIP section. Before Da could say or do anything, a bulky warrior standing in front of the staircase that led upstairs stepped in his way. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, a voice called from above.
"Oh Da!" A feminine voice shouted. "Hey you! Let him go, and never stop him from coming up here again as long as we are here, fool!"
"I am sorry, miss." The bulky man apologised imdiately and stepped out of the way, letting Da climb the stairs without resistance.
Soon enough, Da stood in front of seven chairs arranged loosely around a table with drinks placed in front of them. On one particular seat, Alba could be seen with a drink in hand, her crimson hair cascading down her shoulder blades as her fierce brown eyes locked onto Da.
"We were not expecting you today," Alba began as she watched Da walk toward them until he grabbed an eighth chair and plopped it next to the table. "Is there any problem that you ca all this way to see ?"
"Or probably his dad has sent him on another suicide mission." Killian chid in before bursting into laughter and so did the others, their amusent bouncing across the table.
"That incident is not sothing to laugh about." Da sneered with a deep frown, the mory still bitter in his chest.
"Oh really?! But I think it is quite funny though." A younger woman at the table who stood around five foot seven with long pink hair comnted casually.
"Lilly!" Da snarked sharply as he glared at the young woman.
"So, what actually brings you here?" Another man at the table asked. His arms were so bulky that it looked like stones were mounded on them, and his stare was fixed on Da with curiosity.
"It is not any major issue, Brook, just that it is sothing of a little importance to Alba." Da replied as he turned his gaze back to the leader of the small clan.
"Huh? Of importance to ? And what is that?" Alba asked as she continued chugging her drink, though her eyes did not leave him.
"The Supre Magus. He seeks a eting with you." Da casually dropped the words and Alba froze mid drink. Her brown eyes widened as she slowly dropped the bottle, a smirk crossing her lips with a spark of interest lighting up her features.
"I am listening." She muttered.
