Chapter 619: Presence Demanded!

Chapter 619

Back in the realm where Blake, the first mage, and Jim were watching the battle unfolding in the coliseum, they spotted countless things that made them gasp multiple tis.

"Damn! I thought Grey hated those direct descendants. Why did he take a hit for one of them? And it’s even keeping him out of the fight." Jim muttered as he stroked his beard while watching the battle rage on keenly.

"This is Grey for you," Blake replied with a slight frown. "One never really knows what he’s thinking or what he’ll do next. He’s as unpredictable as the storm itself. I wonder what he’s planning now."

"That gargoyle..." Jim began as the floating hologram zood in on the clash between Thalos and Gil. "I can’t believe it’s actually keeping that demon on its feet. That’s crazy work right there."

"Right from the start, I knew Grey gained a powerful ally," Blake replied as he rubbed his chin in deep thought while staring at the gargoyle, who kept going at the demon with a single hand.

"If I’m right, this is the battle that’ll push that gargoyle to evolve and beco sothing far more powerful. Even Grey himself is on the brink of evolving. Just one final push could make it happen."

"Lest I forget," Jim muttered as he turned away from the hologram to face the first mage. "I noticed that Vynn has begun moving funny. Doesn’t that bother you? Especially considering he’s one of Grey’s most trusted friends back in his world?"

"It does bother ," Blake replied calmly as he sighed and shook his head. "The thought of losing Grey has hit his friends differently. They believe he’s dead, but they have no idea he’s in another world, and that belief made them react in different ways.

While Raze decided to use his grief to grow stronger, Scarlet beca colder. Arthur has grown distant, almost detached, and even Kael, the Lunaria Academy demon, has gone slightly berserk—far more ruthless in his dealings. It’s clear the Supre Magus was the link holding them all together. Now, with him gone, his friends have begun to unravel."

"I wonder when he’ll go back to his world." Jim sighed as he stared at the screen. "They need him back there, especially with the fact that your vision shows the war is approaching fast. It’s coming far too soon and it’s all because of Grey."

"Seriously though," Blake clicked his tongue with mild irritation, "how does one eighteen-year-old kid manage to set several world-shaking events in motion and make them revolve around him? When I was eighteen, I was still flirting with different won and drinking cheap ale, not pulling the attention of cosmic forces."

Jim chuckled faintly. "Not all of them though. Luckily, I don’t think the demons have noticed him yet, and the celestials definitely haven’t taken an interest in him. So he’s still in the clear, at least from the most overwhelming forces."

"That’s where you’re wrong." Blake sighed again, his tone turning grave. "You really think that fool could exist anywhere without drawing their attention? Two celestials from his world already took notice of him back when he was still showing off, but fortunately, they didn’t care enough to intervene.

As for the demons, sothing tells

that after today, the entire race will have their eyes on the Supre Magus." His words carried weight as the holographic display shifted to Grey for a mont, his faintly glowing body trembling slightly as he healed.

"Hey Dad, I did it!" a small, almost tiny voice shouted in a dium-sized house as a little cutie could be seen jumping up and down with pure joy. Her laughter filled the room, bouncing off the walls like a song of innocence, a sharp contrast to the chaos raging in the other world.

"Did what?" a middle-aged man asked as he entered the living room, his brows already furrowing in curiosity.

"I snapped a table in two!" the little girl shouted with joy, her grin stretching from ear to ear.

"Wait—you snapped a what in two?!" Yami shouted in disbelief, staring at Millie with his mouth slightly agape.

"What? You can get it fixed." Millie pouted as she turned away from her dad, folding her little arms with a huff.

"That table was special to ." Yami looked like he was about to cry before glancing upward in frustration. "Clarice! Co and hear what your daughter just did!"

"Why are you shouting?" Clarice asked as she walked in from the kitchen, holding a towel in her hand. "Isn’t she your daughter too?"

"Tch!" Yami scoffed, frowning as he tossed his head aside. "You only rember that part when she breaks sothing."

"But Dad," Vanessa’s voice rang out softly as she stood in front of him, twisting her leg nervously on the ground, "when will Grey co back? I honestly miss his abs... I an, I miss him a lot."

"Huh?" Yami muttered, his brows knitting together as he stared at his daughter suspiciously. "Should I be honest with you, Vanessa?"

"Uhun." Vanessa nodded quickly, her hopeful eyes locking onto his.

The middle-aged man sighed deeply. "Even though that brat lost his mories, I don’t see any feelings for you in his eyes at all," Yami said softly, his tone gentler now, which caused Vanessa’s shoulders to drop.

"It seems like his heart is on soone else, and he’s trying hard to rember her right now.

and your mum both feel you should look elsewhere, because I don’t think he can be yours."

"That’s a lie!" Vanessa snapped back as tears welled up in her eyes. "I love Grey, and I’m sure he loves

back! He can’t love anybody else, right? He’ll co back to ... right?"

"Unfortunately, I don’t think..." Yami trailed off as a loud knock echoed at the door. His words froze mid-sentence. "Huh? Who could that be?"

"Could it be Brother Grey and Brother Finral?!" Millie asked excitedly, bouncing on her toes as she stared at the door with wide eyes.

"Quite unlikely, but let

check," Yami muttered. Vanessa quickly wiped her tears while watching her father move cautiously toward the door.

He began swirling and gathering Ki around his hands just in case it was an enemy. His family behind him shifted into defensive stances as he slowly opened the door, tension thick in the air.

When the door finally swung open, Yami’s shoulders stiffened and then dropped in shock.

"You?!" Yami exclaid as he stared at the young man standing before him—calm, confident, and wearing a cold frown.

"Hey, big brother," the man said flatly, his tone laced with authority. "I can’t believe you thought you could hide from us for ten years. Dad demands your presence. Right now."
