Not just anyone is qualified to provoke people in their circle.

A few minutes passed, Liu Jun’s wealthy second-generation friends hadn’t returned yet, which surprised him a little.

After waiting a few more minutes, Liu Jun grew more puzzled and was about to personally check the situation when he saw two of the wealthy second-generation kids who had gone out earlier co back, heads hung low, looking miserable.

Their current appearance ford a stark contrast to their arrogant deanor when they left.

Seeing this, Liu Jun slightly frowned, about to ask, when he noticed a middle-aged man following behind them.

This man was dressed in a sharply tailored high-end suit, exuding authority and clearly not a regular person.

Li Jing saw this middle-aged man and couldn’t help but frown because he didn’t know the man.

Liu Jun’s reaction was entirely different; his face instantly changed, and he blurted out subconsciously, "Uncle... Uncle Wang?!"

The middle-aged man Liu Jun called "Uncle Wang" looked at Liu Jun coldly and said, "Jun, my son Wang Liang can’t play with you guys anymore. He’s not involved in today’s matter, and I’m taking him back now."

Then, he turned around and harshly reprimanded the two beside him, "All you know is to indulge in eating, drinking, and playing. Hurry up and get back ho!"

Monts ago aggressive and domineering, Wang Liang and his cousin beside him were now like frightened chickens before the middle-aged man, too scared to speak, obediently following him out.

Seeing this, Liu Jun’s expression slightly changed, filled with astonishnt and suspicion.

He knew this middle-aged man, just like his father, was a renowned entrepreneur in Hai City.

In normal tis, this man was calm and collected in his dealings.

But today, he drove over honking continuously, looking furious, a drastic departure from the Uncle Wang he knew.

While Liu Jun was full of confusion, another screeching of brakes was heard outside, and several more middle-aged n arrived quickly.

Seeing these people, Liu Jun’s expression changed again.

Not only him, but the other wealthy second-generation kids in the venue also displayed astonished expressions.

One of them even cowardly shrank his neck, trying to quietly sneak away behind the crowd.

However, he hadn’t walked far before a loud, angry shout ca from a middle-aged man with white hair, "Little rascal, still trying to run? Get out here!"

The angry shout was like a heavy blow; the wealthy kid who attempted to escape trembled and could only walk out timidly, head down.

During this, his female companion wanted to follow him but was given a fierce glare and had her arm sharply shaken off, then he walked alone towards the middle-aged man.

The other middle-aged n beside the white-haired man also called out by naming their children.

With their words, several more wealthy kids ca out, dejected, tails between their legs.

Obviously, Liu Jun didn’t need to say much, Li Jing and others could see that these middle-aged n were the families or elders of those wealthy kids.

Seeing the forrly arrogant wealthy kids appear so embarrassed in front of their families, the crowd was both surprised and bewildered.

After being reprimanded by their elders, the wealthy kids were all taken away.

Soon, the originally bustling group of wealthy kids was half gone.

This left Liu Jun sowhat unresponsive; he had never seen such a scene.

Usually, these wealthy kids who played with him indulged in leisure and lived recklessly, rarely supervised by family, much less collectively rounded up as today.

Before Liu Jun could understand the cause, another car horn sounded outside.

Imdiately afterwards, several middle-aged n quickly walked into the venue.

This ti, Liu Jun was almost numb.

He did not need to ask, instinctively glancing back at his friends.

Sure enough, the remaining wealthy kids also appeared distressed, lowered their heads, and followed their elders away one by one.

This scene not only left passers-by gaping but also dumbfounded Shi Yang and Zhou Yingying, unable to comprehend what had transpired.

Zhou Yingying couldn’t help but whisper, "What’s going on? Has sothing big happened in Hai City to have all these big bosses call their kids back? But that doesn’t seem right."

Shi Yang furrowed her brows, pondering for a mont, and couldn’t help glancing at Li Jing beside her.

She vaguely suspected this matter was related to Li Jing but felt this idea was unreliable.

Li Jing guessed sothing but wasn’t certain, his expression remained calm as he stayed silent.

Just then, a few more middle-aged n entered the venue.

Among these middle-aged n, Li Jing finally recognized a familiar face.

The leading man was none other than Chen Wenwu who had hosted him, and Liu Dazhi whom he had dined with recently.

Following them were several others Li Jing had seen before—other bosses Chen Wenwu had invited him to drink with at KTV.

Upon seeing his father Liu Dazhi, Liu Jun’s body trembled, pupils contracted; his earlier brazen deanor vanished without a trace.

He hurriedly stepped forward, asking in bewildernt, "Dad, what’s happened, why are you all here?"

Seeing his son indeed present, Liu Dazhi’s expression instantly darkened; he didn’t answer Liu Jun’s question but sternly asked instead:

"This ss here, did you cause it?"

Saying this, Liu Dazhi’s gaze swept over the luxury cars behind him and those wealthy kids who were standing not far away.

Even though reprimanded by their elders, they stood nearby, seeming to await the outco.

Seeing his father’s expression was off, Liu Jun’s heart skipped a beat, forced a smile to explain:

"I was just playing with friends here, didn’t do anything else."

Realizing his son indeed started the trouble, Liu Dazhi’s face flushed with anger and, unable to contain himself, raised his hand to slap, frightening Liu Jun into stepping back hurriedly.

Then Liu Dazhi pointed at Liu Jun and scolded, "You still know fear?! I keep you from interfering with family business to prevent blunders, yet you made a colossal one!"

Liu Jun appeared perplexed, defending in frustration, "I didn’t cause trouble, Dad, did you misunderstand ?"

"Misunderstand? I wouldn’t be here if there wasn’t trouble. If I didn’t co, you’d cause a gigantic ss!"

Upon hearing this, Liu Jun hinted at so speculation, glanced back at Li Jing, then quickly dismissed the thought, deeming it impossible.

However, Liu Dazhi’s following words broke his heart completely.

Liu Dazhi, red-faced, continued shouting angrily, "Do you know who you provoked today? This President Li just helped our Liu Family imnsely; calling him our family’s benefactor isn’t an exaggeration!

You dared to provoke him, utterly reckless! He just helped , and you gather people to surround him. Liu Jun, are you trying to ruin the Liu Family for your satisfaction?!"

Saying this, he again threatened to strike.

Beside him, Chen Wenwu knew Liu Dazhi was angry but wouldn’t truly hurt his son, still had to save face.

Therefore, he decisively intervened, suggesting, "Lao Liu, let’s leave it. It’s better to clarify with President Li first."

Realizing this was sensible, Liu Dazhi tried to suppress his rage, shot his son a glare, then together with Chen Wenwu approached Li Jing respectfully, lowered his head apologetic:

"President Li, I sincerely apologize, my misguided parenting. Never imagined my foolish son was so thoughtless.

Usually only thought him playful, never expected his audacity to reach such levels. I promise to discipline him properly when we return!

The mistakes my son made, I bear the responsibility as the father. President Li, whatever it takes to appease your anger, I’m willing to do!"
