Finally, Li Jing rushed back to Tianhai, arriving ho covered in travel dust.
As soon as he entered, Li Jing raised an eyebrow, sensing sothing amiss in the room’s atmosphere.
Wei Jia, clad in a high-end suit paired with stockings, leaned lazily on the sofa, yet her posture was anything but slack. It seed as though the sofa was her throne, her every move exuding a sense of domineering control over the room.
An Tong, on the other hand, resembled a little sheep, sitting obediently and cautiously on the other side of the sofa, hands resting on her knees like a good student attentively listening to a lecture.
After sweeping his gaze over the two won in the room, Li Jing finally focused on the queen-like Wei Jia, skipping the small talk, and asked straight away, "Are you bullying An Tong in my house?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the expressions of the two won imdiately changed.
An Tong was first taken aback, then felt a warmth and a small delight in her heart from Li Jing’s concern and favoritism.
Wei Jia’s brow furrowed slightly, a hint of jealousy flashed deep in her eyes, and then she scoffed,
"What, coming back just to protect your little girlfriend?"
Hearing Wei Jia’s "title" for An Tong and the odd tone, Li Jing couldn’t help but glance at An Tong.
Seeing An Tong’s cheeks slightly red as if wanting to explain sothing, Li Jing guessed that the two won probably discussed plenty of gossip about him in his absence.
But Li Jing didn’t mind, he set down his luggage and plopped onto the sofa.
Since Wei Jia originally sat in the main seat on the sofa, Li Jing naturally sat down next to her, even deliberately nudging her aside slightly with his hip.
Wei Jia’s eyes widened slightly, just about to flare up when Li Jing said to An Tong, "An Tong, after driving for so long, my back is about to break; co help massage it."

Li Jing’s thick-skinned approach was perfect to suppress Wei Jia’s aura.
Then he turned his head to the stunned An Tong beside him, urging her, "What? After a year, you don’t want to give massages anymore?"

Hearing this, An Tong’s expression slightly changed. She quickly got up and moved beside Li Jing.
She glanced at Wei Jia, whose face turned ashen, swallowed nervously, and began carefully massaging Li Jing’s waist in this tense atmosphere.

Li Jing rubbed his waist, then looked Wei Jia up and down with annoyance and asked, "What on earth are you here for today? Surely it’s not to break my back?"
"It wasn’t supposed to be, but now I think you deserve a little punishnt." Wei Jia’s face was full of displeasure towards Li Jing.
"Punishnt?"
Li Jing sneered, "I’ll give you so face, and you really think you’re a queen? Here, I’m the one who punishes others, not the one who gets punished."
"Ha, you’re truly the unreasonable domineering type."
"In terms of domination, I’ve got nothing on you as the company president."
Li Jing roughly guessed that Wei Jia’s restraint was due to An Tong’s presence, so he turned to An Tong and said, "An Tong, I have quite a few things left in the car that my mom sent. Please help bring them up.
President Wei and I will talk about work in the study."
Saying that, Li Jing gave Wei Jia a look before heading towards the study.
Seeing this, An Tong imdiately understood Li Jing’s aning. She snuck a glance at Wei Jia, who didn’t object, so she nodded and turned to leave the room.
Just as she stepped out and headed for the elevator, An Tong saw Zhang Ling inside with two others moving plants and flowerpots.
"Miss An?"
Zhang Ling, seeing the beautiful woman outside the elevator, was slightly surprised and then explained, "Miss An, these are the plants you and President Li temporarily kept with us during the New Year. Now that you and President Li are back, we’re bringing them back to your place."

An Tong nodded too and entered the elevator, her mind contemplating where to spend the next few hours. Perhaps it was best to just go back to her own place...
She understood Li Jing’s request for her to organize the car was just an excuse. After all, he didn’t even intend to give her the car keys, clearly implying sothing else.
So after thinking it through, An Tong decided to drive ho to her rental place, and only co back when Li Jing notified her.
Hmm, that seems right.
By this point, An Tong had fully imrsed herself into her role as Li Jing’s assistant.
