Waking up I was montarily confused when I felt sothing wrapped around my breast but looking down any confusion I had instituted turned to affection as I looked down at Dawn who had managed to keep her head trapped between my boobs but her body? Or is it tail? Either way the rest of her had wrapped around one of my boobs and was hugging it like a pillow. I tried to suppress my amusent but apparently I didn’t do it too well as I felt Amanda waking up next to .
Yawn* "what’s got you amused so early?" She spoke slowly after yawning, I gestured down at my chest not trusting myself to speak just yet as I was still holding in my laughter at how adorable she looked. Following my gesture her eyes widened slightly before a snort of amusent escapes her before she clamps her hand over her mouth and flushes slightly in embarrassnt over the snort.
Unable to hold in my laughter after her adorable snort I let loose a gentle laugh whilst thinking that this is exactly how I want to wake up every day. My laughter seems to wake the other two sleeping people and both of them react in the sa way by grumbling and hissing sleepily before cuddling closer to . My soft laughter turns into full laughter as their mirrored reactions beco too much, Amanda swiftly joins and our combined laughter properly wakes them both up.
With them both up my laughter eventually dies down I lead over and give Kana a morning kiss then repeat that with Amanda before gently lifting Dawn up and rubbing my nose against her snout to which she projects both affection and annoyance at having been woken up to .
Feeling a smile grow I speak up. "Well good morning everyone hope your all doing well! But I don’t know about you but I need so breakfast!" A round of agreent passes over us especially from little Dawn, it would appear that dragons need plenty of food!
Our morning is filled with heading to the kitchen to practice my mana cooking with Dawn draping herself around my neck, not quite able to fully wrap around it due to her small size but she avidly watches prepaid so food, I feed her so small bits of different raw ats that I have but hold off till I have breakfast ready.
I cook up one of my favourites with my attempt at a full English. I make so simple sausages and bacon using the moss bear at I still have, fry a couple of mushrooms that are edible and attempt to make so hash browns using that blue potatoe wannabe and so opinion like vegetable that I found. Saddly I don’t have any replacent for baked beens but I do have so freshly baked loaves of bread, well they were fresh when I placed them in my necklace so they are basically still fresh. I cut them open and toast them before dipping the toasted side into the at juices for so added flavour.
Planting everything up I lay out the table and watch as Kana and Amanda waddle into the kitchen and plop down at the table, their eyes going wide at the spread I place before them. "This is my attempt as a classic breakfast from back ho, had to change out every ingredient as nothing is the sa but I hope you all enjoy!" I explain, a touch nervous that it won’t match up to my mory. Digging in I am delighted to find out that it may actually surpass the real thing thanks to the man’s infusion of all the ingredients. I cut up and feed Dawn so of the sausage and bacon which she greedily devours.
After a delightful breakfast we start to discuss what we all want to do. "Well I don’t know about you but I kinda fancy just relaxing for a little while, especially whilst Dawn is so young, I’m going to guess that as a dragon she will soon catch up to us in strength but I’d like to spend at least a week in town before we go on our next adventure, we could maybe travel to another town?" I explain my idea to the group.
Amanda speaks up. "Well whilst iv basically quit my job as a receptionist at the guild I do need to go in an make that fact actually known and then sign up as a regular adventure. But I’m happy to follow along with the rest of what you said. I should probably sell my house here if we are going to go traveling though, may as well get so extra funds."
Kana follows up with. "Yeah I’m happy to explore so more. Don’t have any real attachnts to this town and it does also lack sowhat compared to the bigger towns and cities."
"Yeah I definitely want to see what kind of cities this world has! Just think of all the fun shops they will have!" I say getting more and more excited as I think about all of the interesting things I will be able to buy!
"Yeah.. all the fun shops.." Kana deadpans clearly not as enthusiastic as I am about that prospect.
Waving her complaints off I continue. "Well regardless we can still explor the town so more I recon and then say let’s find us a quest that sends us over to a different town in around a week." Getting nods of agreents from them both I smile.
After that the days blended together sowhat. Amanda first went to the guild to properly resign and register as an adventurer. After that she decided that she wanted to focus her ti on ranking up to Iron seeing as she only needed her mind aspect to hit level 10, so she spent her ti either with out in town or back at her house ditating.
Kana was much the sa really, she also wanted to get to Iron but wasn’t quite as close as Amanda so she spent so ti in the training ground at the adventures guild sparing with anyone and everyone that was up for a spar, I joined her occasionally to help polish up my still quite lacking sword skills but I think I would like to transition to a pure mage as that’s the way my abilities seem to be leaning towards. Past sparing Kana also joined and Amanda out in town sotis but she mainly spent her ti sparing or ditating with Amanda back at the house.
As for I had a few things I wanted to do. Primarily I wanted to spend ti with Dawn, our bond seed to grow day by day and it felt as if the baby dragon was growing smarter and smarter all the ti as if she was learning from . Seeing as she spent almost every waking and sleeping mont wrapped around my neck that probably should be too much of a supprise I suppose.
Past bonding with Dawn I was determined to improve my cooking abilities so I spent a lot of my ti ’researching’ the food in this world. Yup defiantly purely for research and not just because I loved eating. I even spent so ti helping out a couple of the more interesting food stalls and spent a lot of ti learning from the chefs there to widen my knowlage of the local ingredients and how best to prepare them.
Sohow despite eating so much I didn’t put on any weight thanks to my boon! I did notice that I was slowly getting smaller though not by much but gradually it was happening. I could alter it obviously but it seed that for so reason my natural height was getting closer to the 5ft mark that I’d like.
Mixed among that I spent so ti along exploring the town so more, visiting several shops and buying so things that caught my eye. I expanded my cooking equipnt getting so enchanted pots and pans that aided in circulating both heat and mana, I enjoyed using them in the mornings and evenings when I would cook for the group. My effort in this aspect paid off as after a few days my skill improved.

Other than cooking and other food related affairs I upgraded our camping equipnt. I sold off the bed and the tent we were using and decided to splurge sowhat. I bought an enchanted tent that was bigger in the inside. Outwardly it looked like a basic 1-2 man tent but inside it was spacious enough to stand, even for Kana and had enough space for a large bed and it even ca with a separate section which I planned to make into a nest for Dawn so I could get so private ti with the girls at night, it even ca with a sound dampening enchantnt on top of the special expansion. It did take a good chunk of change but I thought it would be well worth it!
As for a bed I again splurged getting a giant bed that could easily fit 5 and it ca with enchanted bedding that automatically cleaned itself! I was very much looking forward to getting to test that feature out!
I did also learn what happened to the Beast tide that we encountered on our last mission, apparently it headed north and wiped out a small farming village. After which a Silver rsnked adventuring team was dispatched to deal with it, I heard no ntion of a gold rsnked besst leading it so I couldn’t help but wonder what happened to that owl that we saw. But either way the team of 5 apparently caught them in a frontal assult and managed to completely eliminate all of the beasts.
And as such ti passed us by quickly and before long a week had passed Amanda hadn’t managed to reach Iron but she was very close and would probably reach it in a couple of days. As for Kana she had made significant improvents and was now Iron ranked in both Body and Mind only lagging behind in her soul aspect.
My improvents were minor but I was happy as I had reached Iron in Body and 9 in Mind. Similar to both girls I felt that I would be able to reach it in a couple of days. Dawn surprised us all by managing to reach Copper rank on her third day after hatching. Saddly she was around my neck when this happened so I was assaulted by the slly gunk that was expunged from her body and subsequently covered . I spent several hours at the bathhouse after that cleaning up and teaching Dawn that she shouldn’t rank up whilst on anyone and should instead do it when on the ground and on sothing that is either easy to clean or that you don’t mind burning.
So whilst we had planned to leave after only a week, due to how close we all were to ranking up we decided to hold off until we all ranked up!
