The Mage Battalion started their assault against the android miners and their protectors…
While this is all happening, Avalon's forces were also riling up the Imperial Army to bring the fight near the mining site.
The forces were made of automatons and ch Knights fully controlled by the A.I.
The only downside with the A.I.'s army was that they were unable to use any Mana Spells or Mana Artifacts installed in them.
However, it was still enough to create troubles for the Imperial Army…
Their Hadron Cannons and Radiant Wave can still damage the alien's spaceships and destroy their chs. As a matter of fact, it was a bit more effective since the aliens were expecting Mana Spells to rain on them.
They seem to have adjusted their barrier to defend the spells but it backfired to them.

Avalon repeated to ensure that the whole army is aware of the upcoming battle.

Avalon did its best to control the situation. However, it is still up to them to fight against the aliens. Their skills and magic would still matter in a close-range fight against the imperial soldiers.
Ross Schien looked at the situation below and as expected, the Airships above started getting attention.
It is only a matter of ti before the ch Fras would be sent to destroy them. Their team has to protect the airships especially the Fourth Veritas Airship where the Cryptic Mages are currently waiting.

He then noticed that the most troubleso ch Fras called Wolf's Sledger started flying towards their spot.
These Sledgers have bulky brown armor plates and are carrying large cannons on their arms. Aside from that, they are capable of creating a powerful active force field that allows them to defend against their Mana Spells.
Finally, their Psionic Pulse that ignores their Mana Shells and defenses were too powerful… Luckily, they only have to buy so ti to fight them and a few ch Knights controlled by Avalon will also help them a bit later.
"Everyone!"
He didn't have to say more as the Lucent Knights with long swords and guns on their arms went into their formation.
They wouldn't allow them to get near to the Airships.
"Charge!"
There is no point engaging in longe range battle against the Sledger ch Knights. They would be at a disadvantage if that happens. They were already aware that the Psionic Pulse can also affect their ch Fras so it is better used against enemies from afar.
This is why they brought out their swords and forced them to engage in close combat.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
One of the Lucent Knights managed to hit the armor of the ch Fra but instead of them being sliced, their sword weapons were destroyed!

Ross heard a mber of the Lucent Force and imdiately took a glance to see what was happening.
He saw another Lucent Knight managed to destroy a cannon ant to fire the Psionic Pulse… It was indeed a successful task but unfortunately, the Wolf's Sledger ch wasn't just good with that technology…
He saw the ch Fra opened its burning palm and crushed the Lucent Knight blocking its way.
Their ch Knights were lted and destroyed by such a powerful technology!
They have never used this before in the First Offensive!
"Tsk! Everyone, do not let the enemy ch touch you with their palms. Be careful!"
Ross could no longer save the pilot but he can at least warn the other ch Knights fighting with him.
'We can't be overwheld here…'
[ The enemy reinforcents will be here in 40 seconds. ] Avalon reported which gave him hope…
They just have to survive for a bit longer and the Cryptic Mages and Wallace's ch Knights with Radiant Wave would be able to help them…

He then saw the automatons from Maja and the Mage Battalion from Virgan started engaging against the Bio-Armored Imperial Soldiers.
The soldiers were visibly stronger like a mini ch Fra as they can kill all the battle mages and automatons blocking their way… It looks like a one-side battle to him.
If this continues, those on the ground would be annihilated.
However, he doesn't have ti to worry about them…

He detected the activation of Subspace Blaster thanks to his enhanced senses… However, a few of the ch Knights were still caught by the blaster obliterating them completely…
The blaster didn't even end there and still managed to hit the hull of one of the airships above them…
Luckily, the Fourth airship was quite far from the line of fire.
Ross then continued casting various mana spells to deter the enemy ch fras… He wasn't that talented in terms of casting spells but he could at least dual cast.
Casting a Fire Arrow using one of his ch Knight's Mana Artifacts while casting a Mana Bullet on the other was still sothing he could do so easily.
The other mbers of his team and do the sa as they started pressuring the enemies…
Boom! Boom!
Two of the ch Fras near him suddenly exploded after a red and black wave passed through them…
'Radiant Wave!'
He easily noticed the special technology of Wallace's ch Knights as he looked in the direction where they ca from.
He saw ten of these Lotus ch Knights as they rushed to their help… Because they attacked from behind the Sledger's they were unable to properly dodge as they quickly cleaned up their forces.
On the other hand, the Dragon's Warrior chs were currently dealing with the bombardnt of 20 or so Airships from the sky… It will not be easy for them to fire their Subspace Blaster again…
'Since they are already here… The enemy reinforcents should be arriving…'
Ross thought and looked behind the Lotus chs…
As expected, hundreds of Khrusams together with ch Fras were chasing them…
Finally, it's ti for the Cryptic Mages to use their newly-acquired power.
