"You? Join the Light Temple?" Kuboert felt like he had truly witnessed chaos today, where all worldly logic had been stirred into a pot of sauce, leaving him unable to make sense of anything.

"I will beco a lifelong personal advisor to the Light Temple in my na." Lynch laughed: "How about it? The leader of the Mage Association serving the entire temple, inspired by the Light God, has embarked on the path of justice and goodness! Such propaganda will surely boost the morale of the soldiers at the front! And you just secretly temporarily joined Little Finger's organization."

"It seems like I am the one benefiting in this plan." Kuboert nodded, agreeing to the arrangent. Yet he couldn't shake an unsettling feeling. "But, I still feel sothing's not right..."

After agreeing on a specific schedule, the three groups parted ways, each preparing their part of the task. After Kuboert and Little Finger left, Lynch carefully examined Zilvra again, fearing any hidden injuries. So spiritual attacks don't directly destroy the opponent's will but plant seeds in the victim's mind, slowly altering their temperant.

The archbishop had always wanted to kill Zilvra, so he used so rather domineering powers. Lynch checked over the Dark Elf again and again, finally causing Zilvra to lose patience.

"How long are you going to keep checking? I can take care of myself. If there were still injuries, I wouldn't miss them." Zilvra moved Lynch's hand away from her nape. "These little wounds are really nothing. Don't look at like I'm on my deathbed!"

Lynch nodded, gently holding Zilvra's right hand in his palm, softly caressing her slender fingers. "Now you know the level of the Snake-n, right? Don't act recklessly anymore. It's manageable if you're injured, but if you really lose your life, I'll have to use Necromancy to bring you back." Lynch winked, jokingly saying, "But rest assured, I'll make sure you're a thousand tis better than a soul-bound corpse."

"I won't beco that kind of thing!" Zilvra quickly retracted her hand. She still wasn't fully accustod to such gestures. Compared to the flirtation techniques of the Drow Elves, human thods were quite different. But they made Zilvra, who was familiar with the latter style, quite uncomfortable. The slight warmth on her face was evidence of this.

Lynch's left hand slipped back into his sleeve, hiding the purple lightning dancing on his fingertips from Zilvra. His main objective had just been to punish the Black Dragon in his ring. It had left Zilvra behind and strutted outside the temple alone. The Thunder Whip used on the Black Dragon should be enough to make it rember this lesson.

The mage pulled out a scroll, summoning two invisible servants to carry the still unconscious archbishop. anwhile, spiritual power allowed Zilvra and Lynch to float comfortably out of the secret room, sparing them a tireso journey. Once the situation here completely stabilizes, the man adorned with the Eight-Headed Snake Emblem surely has more intelligence to offer. Lynch wouldn't easily let him off.

The Light Temple's Temple Day celebration turned into a disaster thanks to the Black Dragon and the Battle Puppet, leaving half of Pate City in ruins. Fortunately, the Black Dragon hadn't completely lost its senses. Lynch's pressure kept it from going into a killing spree. Instead, it spent most of its energy destroying the buildings, playing hide and seek with the guards, and amusing itself by watching the civilians scatter in fear. Now, the most troubleso issues were the Black Dragon's acidic liquid now scattered everywhere, which was extrely difficult to clean, and the large number of new refugees created by the Black Dragon's "playfulness."

Lynch shifted all this loss onto the Big Snake. Through the teleportation stone in the bishop's underground chamber, he found the Snake-n army's grain storage and then used a spatial bag to plunder it lavishly. Since he didn't want the Big Snake to notice too quickly, wanting it to believe the Black Stone Portal's secrets were still unknown, Lynch didn't take too much, only looting the top layer of grain from each warehouse.

"The Mage Association has extended a helping hand to the Holy Pate, with the Great Mage himself listening to the archbishop's teachings!" Within a few days, this news spread throughout Pate City, along with the ergency grains reaching every citizen. "The Great Mage Lynch has been inspired and will serve the great Light God for the rest of his life!" "The once-arrogant mages have finally bowed down to justice and repented!"

Every ti Kuboert heard such news, he had to wipe the sweat off his brow with a handkerchief - all due to nervousness. He never imagined that Little Finger's n would publicize Lynch becoming an advisor like this. While other Priests were shocked and thrilled by the news, Kuboert was deeply concerned about Lynch's state. If Little Finger's joke went too far, who knew if this legendary Great Mage might suddenly change his mind and trick all the residents of the Pate Empire?

Especially seeing Lynch in the current "archbishop's" residence, with a group of servants bustling around him as he tried on one exquisite robe after another, even wearing a relaxed smile, made Kuboert even more worried. Could the whole affair just be a big joke? If the temple's prestige was utterly destroyed, Lynch could still help Wislin gather the hearts of the Pate soldiers, making a safer move to resist the Snake-n in the north. At that point, even the Elves, Dwarves, and the often reclusive Gnos would more eagerly join Lynch's organized alliance... The more Kuboert thought about it, the more likely this seed.

Lynch, observing Kuboert's expression, thought he was worried about joining the Thieves' organization. A Priest who vowed a lifeti of service to the Light God now faced such a predicant; it truly was hard to relax. The current archbishop, sitting in another room, had just sworn a blood oath of absolute obedience to Kuboert. At that ti, Kuboert's awkward expression was exactly like now.

"Alright, relax a bit, Kuboert. Actually, I quite like this outfit." Lynch couldn't elucidate everything in front of so many servants. "I've worn black and red robes, and now I have a white one. But no matter what I wear, I'm still a Great Mage."

"Yes, yes indeed," Kuboert muttered. "Let's hope everything goes smoothly."

"Don't be so anxious all the ti, Kuboert. Look at Zilvra; she's enjoying it as if on vacation." Lynch recalled the female Drow's request to interrogate the "forr archbishop," intending to extract all the information from his mind—and simultaneously repay the injury with revenge. Her expression then was as delighted as a child receiving a cherished toy. "Since we've made the decision, let it unfold. After all, you have no better option, do you?"

Suddenly, Kuboert finally understood why he felt sothing was amiss. From beginning to end, he was rely a supporting character, only agreeing to Lynch's plan, a plan already constructed long before.

Like a puppet on strings, he walked right into the mage's trap—that was the reason for Kuboert's unease.
