"You need to take deep breaths and not think too much." Although it had transford into a human form, the Black Dragon's tone still sounded overly monotonous, with a heavy nasal sound. "Your lineage doesn't offer any protection against psychic abilities. I found that there are few people in this world who have protection against psychic abilities."

Zilvra nodded, then placed her hand on the hilt of her sword. The cold tal hidden beneath the coat rekindled a familiar feeling in her. "For a mont there, I actually felt compassion and relaxed!" Zilvra thought angrily. "Now is not the ti to relax."

The Black Dragon watched as Zilvra continuously adjusted her breathing, using the darkest beastly instincts in her heart to control her emotions and couldn't help but admire this woman. Although their powers were vastly different, both Lynch and Zilvra were extrely self-controlled individuals, and at least in this respect, they reached unanimity.

'I hope they also achieve unanimity in their psychic ability defenses.' The Black Dragon began to gradually spread its strength, forming a field around Zilvra that shielded all unnatural effects. While protecting her, it also imagined the delightful scene of Lynch being tornted by psychic abilities.

When the last ray of sunlight streaming through the huge floor-to-ceiling window began to waver, the archbishop of the Pate Temple appeared in front of everyone. Slightly different from what Zilvra imagined, this guy seed relatively young, especially considering the position he held. He looked like just an ordinary middle-aged man, only more serene and tranquil, with hair that was well-maintained and still dutifully protecting its owner. A pair of strong hands held a white scepter, etched with strange inscriptions. Not only Zilvra, but even the Black Dragon couldn't understand what was written on it.

On the spacious white robe, a golden gigantic sun was embroidered, radiating light that enveloped the bishop entirely. This scene involuntarily reminded Zilvra of the priests of the Spider Goddess, who also loved to embroider marks—a black spider—on their clothes. She felt sowhat nauseated and strolled to the back of the crowd. The nobles attending the gathering had already focused their attention on the archbishop and didn't notice Zilvra's movent.

The archbishop leisurely walked to the nobles, letting the priests kiss the huge azure ring on his hand. The atmosphere suddenly beca excited until he waved his hand to signal for peace.

"This is a difficult ti, undeniably, it's a hard winter. Cold and setbacks have been testing our faith, allowing us to experience a season to retrospect on ourselves—and I must honestly say, this introspection is painful."

Zilvra pouted, then felt her hem being gently tugged. She turned her head and saw the human transford from the Black Dragon gesturing her to move towards the corner of the hall.

"What's happening?" Zilvra muttered softly. It wasn't until they hid behind a statue of a Paladin as tall as two people that the Black Dragon whispered, "The effects of psychic abilities are getting stronger, it's very likely coming from that human."

Zilvra peeked her head out to glance at Pate's archbishop, then quickly hid. She nodded towards the Black Dragon and whispered, "Let's wait here and see what happens!"

On the other hand, the archbishop continued his speech:

"Divine Pate, people, devoted believers. This January, Yim and Haisas and others demanded that we open borders, open trade routes, and trade without tariffs. I firmly rejected their unreasonable demands! I never believe in assistance from foreign tribes! Never! I never believe in the so-called assistance from people and nations outside of our God's followers! The future of Holy Pate depends on our people! Only on our people! The people of Holy Pate, God's followers must overco all difficulties with their diligence, wisdom, calmness, and bravery! Only in this way can our country move forward, can our nation thrive! The so-called diplomacy and non-belief assistance have the sole purpose of undermining our country's stability and unity, corrupting our people's fighting spirit! Within those so-called organizations and agreents, equally undisclosed evil purposes are concealed!... The temple system under the leadership of Light God Pate strives only for the survival and developnt of the native people! Those eternal enemies of ours, the eternal enemies of Holy Pate, nothing but lies flow from their tongues! Any attempt to cooperate with them is a betrayal and cri against the Light God! Betrayal and cri! We will fight these shaless, evil enemies to the end! To the end! Until they are completely eradicated!... We have overco countless difficulties, achieved countless accomplishnts, no force in the world can stop us! The ultimate victory will surely belong to the people of the Light God!..."
