Grand Duke Banaya looked at the ring in his hand, clearly feeling the tremor of magic. This was completely different from what the witches had given him; surely one side was being deceptive. He tried to pull the "evidence" the witches had submitted from his pocket, only to find a pinch of powder—if Lynch withdrew the source of magic power maintaining those items, they wouldn't withstand even a little burn.

"Your Grace, Grand Duke Banaya, don't be fooled by him!" the witches shouted loudly, pointing at Lynch. "He's afraid of being exposed one day, so he has preemptively created many real magic items to cover up his cris! Moreover, he's a deserter, a guy who ca out of basic training! Check the marks on him, and you'll find out."

Lynch smiled without answering, simply holding his Powerful Wand and watching the devils surrounding him. With his current strength, it wouldn't take much effort to erase those marks. He was just waiting, waiting for the most opportune mont to deliver a fatal blow to his enemies.

The Abyss Demon looked at the mage opposite, wanting to extend a hand to tear him apart, but a voice in his head stopped him from taking such action. That fully radiant white halo, as pure as a pearl, reminded him of the treasures in his collection from Bator Hell. While the witches, with their grey, withered skin, were as repulsive as this plane, making him feel irritable and annoyed.

Lynch spoke, murmuring in Abyss Language beside Grand Duke Banaya's ear, "If you agree with what the witches say, you must distribute so of these magic items to them as a reward; it's a rule you have to follow. But why not accept all the items, as a humble human offering a gift to the Grand Duke?"

Eryies now covered her mouth, afraid her smile might ruin Lynch's grand sche. The mage was using the sa Charming Spell that the Desire Demon had used on him countless tis. Now, the mage rely increased the power, using this spell against the Abyss Demon. Eryies seed to foresee the day Lynch would completely turn into a devil, also the day of her ultimate victory.

Lynch bought his freedom with a basket full of magic items and nurous gemstones, and his last few words completely shattered the witches' sophistry. "You old witches are just trying to take the opportunity to sell those counterfeit magic items of yours, aren't you? Especially when I was still suffering under the Grand Duke's tornt, then you could use fakes to impersonate the genuine items obtained from Refining Demon Banaya today! How many more devils will be bewitched by you, becoming soul food?"

The Abyss Demon just needed a reason, and then he would make the "right" decision suggested by Lynch's spell.

The mage did not stay to watch the torture the witches would endure, yet he almost already knew the future they would face. After the witches were tortured beyond recognition, Grand Duke Banaya would suddenly realize he had been cast under a spell. Since by then Lynch would have already left the Grey Ruins far behind, his wrath would once again fall upon the witches.

"Hope they survive," Lynch sat on the deck of the magic ship, a thick book of magical history spread out before him. "Of course, don't take this seriously. Eryies, actually I think if they could choose a quick death, it would truly be liberation."

"Why do you always ntion those ugly old won?" The Desire Demon leaned on the helm, showcasing her full and alluring figure in the process, "Talk about instead, dear."

"There will be a day," Lynch responded absentmindedly, his hand gently turning the page of the history book.
