The Bator Hell, also known as the Nine Layers of Hell. Here is the land of withering rcy, the land of kindness lost, the land of justice extinguished. Here, resentnt and hostility grow vigorously, blossoming into flowers of evil and conflict, with the fruits of death feeding the inhabitants, satisfying their thirst for power.
Here, only oaths hold any binding power. However, it depends on to whom the oath is made and by what it is sworn.
The Nine Layers of Hell is ho to various kinds of low-level, high-level, and noble devils, and also the domain of so evil True Gods. The residents here adhere more to order, which also ans they resent the hierarchical system and rebel against it. Most devils will resort to any sche or action—no matter how evil—to achieve promotion. They struggle relentlessly to extract more power from this world, in body and mind, to transform into higher-ranking devils. Every devil looks up to the sky, at the deep red do, where the mark of the Devil Lord glitters. Each layer of Bator Hell has such leaders, displaying their power through cruel ans, waiting to eliminate those daring to challenge or rebel. It is said that so have acquired the power of a demigod.
Today is just another ordinary day in Bator Hell, as devils while away their ti in deception. Travelers from other worlds are frequent targets of their dealings. Unlike the shaless chaotic demons, the residents of Bator prefer to achieve their goals with words and wit rather than drawing weapons and engaging in bloody combat upon eting their enemies.
A bolt of lightning tears across the sky, a common sight in the blood-red hellish world. However, so cunning devils look up to observe a startling fact—a powerful Fla Demon is falling from the high sky, desperately trying to flap its wings but unable to find any opportunity for support.
Lynch is falling alongside the Fla Demon, doing his best to restrain his opponent's movents with spells. The final spell had brought himself and this powerful being back to Bator Hell, and now he had to deal with the opponent first before considering how to leave this world.
The Fla Demon slled the scent of danger, trying desperately to grab the Mage falling alongside it. Only by getting rid of the main culprit could it escape the control of his spells. However, Lynch constantly used illusion techniques to hide his true whereabouts, leaving the Fla Demon futilely clutching at the air multiple tis.
"Splat against the ground, you clumsy fool!" At the critical mont, Lynch used the Feather Fall Technique on himself. He watched as the final destructive figure of the Fla Demon fell. A Pillar of Skulls stood up from the ground, piercing through the giant body from its back. Countless fireballs exploded in the sky, forming a bloody mist of magma and burning body fragnts. Lynch only had ti to use a fire protection spell before being blown aside by the air current. The source of thɪs content is noⅴelfire
In the end, it was the special ability of the Refined Gold left hand that saved Lynch's life, but it also nearly exhausted the Mage's last ounce of strength. Lying on the ground, Lynch's eyes were filled with the final death scene of the Fla Demon. It took him several hours to regain control of his muscles before slowly sitting up.
"Damn it, every decision I've made recently has been wrong." Lynch wiped the dirt from his face with his hand; he could have used a spell, but in this situation, preserving every bit of energy was crucial. "First, sending Dwarves to find Barrend, then overestimating the Dwarf King's self-control, and finally botching the spell to seal the Fla Demon, taking myself down with it. Who would have thought the Plane Synchronization spell would last so long, ending with becoming a mber of the devils."
Glancing around, he recalled what he had learned. This was his first ti personally visiting Bator Hell, though Lynch had previously followed his ntor and witnessed its scenes through a Crystal Ball. Before Lynch lay a scorched, fragnted wasteland, its monotony disrupted by mountain ranges and the sloping hills of side walls. In the distance, a group of low-level devils was flying in this direction, as the bodies hung upon the Pillar of Skulls were a precious resource here.
