Landa led the mbers of the Elder’s Court and organized a "research group" that they called the "tal Arm Human Installation Experint," along with a large group of "volunteers" interested in it, all rushing to the museum warehouse to find that refined gold arm. Lynch could clearly read the excitent, frenzy, and eagerness from the eyes of these energetic dwarves. This nearly hysterical research desire was like a powerful engine and motor, with each dwarf being a bolt and lever on the machine. Now, this machine was working vigorously and energetically, making the city more vibrant and lively along with it.

Moni, however, didn’t join the large group going to the museum warehouse. Instead, during the ti Lynch went to the Elder’s Court, he went to the open ground under the platform and retrieved Lynch’s Magic Book. Then he stood at the door of the Elder’s Court waiting for the mage. When Lynch ca out, Moni approached him.

"Mage Lynch, here is your item. I found it for you."

Lynch took back his Magic Book. With only one hand left, he couldn’t use the other hand to flip the pages of the book. He sighed lightly.

"Mr. Mage, what’s wrong? Are you feeling down? Can you tell ?" Moni said, "Shared happiness is doubled happiness, and shared pain is only half the pain. Of course, we usually say these two sentences in reversed order. But you have to know, when we have pain and unhappiness, we should talk about it with the people around us. One person, two people, three people, and gradually your pain and unhappiness will fade away. Everyone gives you a bit of comfort, and you won’t feel the pain anymore. Of course, when you have happy things, you should tell others, too. They will be happy for your happiness, and you will beco happier because of their joy. Wait, isn’t that three tis the happiness? That’s not right, the saying clearly says it’s doubled, how did it beco three tis here? There must be a deduction error. Let calculate again. Your own happiness, one part; making others happy, another part; then you..."

The mage looked at Moni, who started talking to himself, and put the Magic Book back into his storage pocket, gently patting the dwarf on the head. He knew that the dwarf species had a lifespan much longer than humans, and Moni might be 100 years older than him, making that head-patting gesture possibly rude. However, limited by height, the mage could only reach Moni’s head.

"Before I find a place to stay here, can I stay at your place for a while?"

"Sure, sure, welco, welco. I just wanted to say it, but then I got stuck with a math problem. Well, I’ll think about it later. I also have sothing to ask you for help with. But let’s not talk about that now. Let take you to my house first."

Walking in the dwarf city, the narrow paths and low corridor ceilings were the most challenging parts for Lynch to adapt to. Before almost every passage, he had to bend, hunch, and stoop to get through. Even then, he had to be cautious of the various items overhead. Within just half a mile, Lynch had been caught four tis by various lines and levers and bumped his head twelve tis.

Fortunately, the dwarven pedestrians on the road were very considerate of the inconveniences this big guy encountered walking there, all making way for the smoothest paths. So even helped clear sideline clutter and chanical obstacles, and so dwarves even reminded him, "Watch your head, that’s the automatic drying rack for matchsticks."

A few curious dwarf children gathered around, following behind Lynch, sucking their fingers and watching the tall figure slowly advance. It was rare for outsiders to visit the dwarf city, and even rarer to see such tall "creatures" like Lynch. What attracted the children most was Lynch’s Mage Robe. The black velvet robe was beautifully embroidered with stars and wave patterns in silver thread, with the lines clear and dynamic. As Lynch moved, the garnt’s hem swayed, with the silver lines constantly shifting in brightness with the changing light, making it seem as if stars twinkled on the robe and waves slowly flowed.

A few bolder kids secretly followed up, using their little hands to grab Lynch’s robe, wanting to verify if the moving stars and waves were real or fake. Lynch felt soone tugging on his robe, turned around, and saw several shy-looking children staring at him, their small hands still persistently touching the embroidered patterns. The mage stopped with a smile, inviting the kids who didn’t dare approach from behind, grabbing his empty left sleeve to let them feel the texture of the patterns and the robe.
