If they encountered the tough lords of the southern continent of Anriel or the orc army of the northern Barbaric Land, they would be eager for these fish to burn to death in the woods. But the elves wouldn’t think that way; they felt those flas not only ignited the trees but also wildly and endlessly tornted their souls.
Almost without need for further thought and negotiation, Caidi demanded the trees evacuate the fire zone as soon as possible, not letting this ancient forest turn to charcoal. The Fishn stumbled by chance and luckily found the road leading to Heather.
The only thing that could comfort Caidi was the arrival of reinforcents. He eventually heeded Mage Lynch’s advice, gathering troops south of the Elf Kingdom before the battle, preparing for an ambush. However, due to the wildfire, the ambush turned into a skirmish. The frenzied Fishn, with their absolute nurical advantage, continuously forced the elf army backward.
So now Heather Land was bustling with activity, as the elves gathered here, preparing for the final battle. In their eyes, the defeat of the ghostly army led by the Banshee allowed them to focus on dealing with these opportunistic Fishn.
Elf Queen Hernfurry bent down, gently placing her palm on Zilvra’s forehead. Although the Half-Drow’s wounds had healed, she still hadn’t woken up due to the fatigue caused by exhaustion and toxins. Little Soka, worried, tugged on the Elf Queen’s clothing, watching the unconscious Zilvra.
"She’s fine, don’t worry." The Queen visiting this guest at such a ti surprised the busy Elf Warriors greatly. The Great Druid outright opposed it. He believed that Her Majesty the Queen should be safely commanding the battle in the Holy Temple.
"Soka, stay here honestly and watch over Zilvra, don’t leave." said the Queen.
Soka shook her head defiantly, "Sister Zilvra and Brother Lynch are off fighting those nasty bad bones; I can’t just sit around here."
"Truly brave. Alright, I will bless you." The Queen bent down and gently kissed Soka on the forehead. The little angel swayed and then fell to the ground, beginning to snore in slumber.
Hernfurry gently placed Soka beside Zilvra, then left the room. She instructed the guard following her closely, "You, go summon Nosta."
"Your Majesty, at this mont we don’t know where the Great Druid might be, and there are too many affairs needing attention here. We might need to search through Heather. What about your safety anwhile?"
"Here in Heather, what could happen to ?" The Queen smiled, dispelling the last trace of doubt in the Elf Guards like the warm sunshine of spring. She said, "Find him and have him et at the Holy Temple. Now hurry along."
After all her elven companions set off, she glanced toward the direction of the Residual Star Swamp and then quietly proceeded across the tree bridge. However, her course was not toward the Holy Temple atop the mountain, but the dock nestled below Heather Mountain, where a small boat was anchored.
When Her Majesty the Queen wished to attract attention, she could draw all eyes upon herself, appearing tall and beautiful. But when she wanted to hide her presence, she could blend among the forest like an ordinary leaf, elegant yet unremarkable. She passed countless busy elves with a smile, delighting in their passion for this Holy Land, yet without attracting any notice from her kin.
When Great Druid Nosta hurriedly arrived at the Holy Temple, bewildered, it was silent and vacant. Only at Heather’s Holy Lake, there was an additional small boat. The Elf Queen alone had docked there, waiting.
Nosta quickly spotted the sudden little boat, baffled as to why the Queen had left the safety of the Holy Land. But before he could give the command to bring Her Majesty back, he discovered sothing that brought him dread.
From the direction of the Residual Star Swamp, three massive shadows drifted forward.
Fyyian finally found an opening, using his spell to resist the flood’s assault, leaving the swamp as Lynch and Kuboert vanquished the Witch Demon. The anger Lynch had incited within him was extinguished by the icy river water, vanishing without a trace, and he regained his calm and reason. As he refocused his target on Heather Holy Land, whether to eliminate these two obstructions beca less critical.
