However, Lynch felt that a poem should be composed to extol the greatness of the "Residual Star Swamp Great Flood."
Gazing at the grandiose flood charging forward like a thousand white stallions, Fyyian imdiately sensed the dangerous aura. His first command was for his Witch Demons to erect an ice wall where the flood was about to pass, to divert the waters that might carry holy powers away from the path of the undead army.
The Witch Demons swiftly carried out the order, constructing an inverted "V"-shaped ice wall to try to split the flood in two.
"Will it be that easy?" Lynch smiled and remarked. Even though the makeshift force field boat he had conjured was spinning uncontrollably in the water, making it impossible to aim his spells, activating a pre-prepared magic array was rely a matter of reciting a few spells.
Fyyian suddenly realized, to his shock, that the entire Residual Star Swamp was enveloped by a massive magic light ring, with flickering words and talismans indicating an unknown danger. The raging flood, before it even reached the ice wall ford by the Witch Demons, was guided underground by the magic town. Through channels that Lynch had already excavated with magic, it veered directly underneath the undead army, transforming into powerful fountains that broke through the soil’s constraints, channeling the entire wrath of the Elf Kingdom onto the undead.
The white spray blinded everyone’s eyes, with the sound of a thousand fountains drowning out all other noises completely. Even if Banshees scread, their wails seed trivial amidst the roaring deluge.
"This is bad!" Fyyian barely got the words out before being upended by a spout of water from beneath his feet. It was only a slight force that impacted him, but his undead minions were not so fortunate.
The waters of the Erutalon river suddenly unleashed long-held resentnt against the undead, scouring these invading foes with powerful holy forces. White mist continuously billowed from those monsters from the death world, causing them to futilely raise their hands and struggle in vain.
The Witch Demons and Skeleton Naga who mastered so spells initially thought to fly upwards, but their efforts in constructing the ice wall delayed them. When the flood beneath gushed upwards, they had only just begun their incantations. Although they had lost all sensation after becoming undead creatures, the holy water restored this "weakness" to them. As they acutely felt the agony of being gradually lted, their incantations for flight distorted and lost their efficacy.
Deprived of the Witch Demons’ continual reinforcent, the ice wall quickly crumbled. This artificially induced deluge barreled down, subrging all the undead. Skeletons and zombies struggled uselessly, slapping the water surface and hastening their own subrsion. The holy water encased them entirely, purging the last of the necromantic power within their bones clean, turning to blue smoke that drifted skyward.
Even the formidable undead beings like the Witch Demon could only hold on a bit longer, but when Kuboert floated to them, their last hope was dashed. Lynch skillfully suppressed the undead’s attempts at one final spell-driven counterattack, providing the Priest ample ti to act. As the dispersal power burst forth, the greatly weakened Witch Demons could no longer sustain themselves in this world.
