Moon Harbor City, engulfed in chaos.

cmfu发布 The Giants who stord the walls imdiately faced fierce attacks from the guards. These elite soldiers of Moon Harbor City were veterans left from countless battles with various invaders over the years. Their weapon skills were proficient, and their coordination seamless. Every ti a Giant was thrown onto the city wall, they were imdiately besieged by multiple attackers.

cmfu发布 The sturdy spear was the best weapon against these Giants. The height and arm length of the Giants gave them a range advantage over humans. When they attacked—even with a simple swing of the fist—a whole area could be knocked down. In front of them, the slow-moving heavy infantry wielding longswords and shields seed like easy targets, easily taken down before they could get close, and finished off with a few stomps. Those who posed the greatest threat to them were no longer Light God Pate's strongest infantry but these ordinary soldiers clad in leather armor, ard only with a few spears.

cmfu发布 This hedgehog-like formation greatly slowed the Giants' advance. With every step forward, they had to be wary of the spears that suddenly thrust out. A single lapse in attention could leave several holes in their massive bodies.

cmfu发布 However, as the number of Giants on the city wall increased, this sturdy hedgehog formation began to find it difficult to cope.

cmfu发布 Sir Macken charged to the frontline of the battle. Before his eyes were streams of soldiers' blood flowing along the city walls, dripping slowly through the stone crevices. The young n he personally trained had died right here, on what was praised as the "strongest defense in the North." Just a day ago, they were full of life and youthful vigor, laughing loudly; just a day ago, they could sit in the tavern, holding fragrant pieces of at and refreshing ale, teasing the barmaid loudly; just a day ago, they could gather eagerly around the old soldiers, listening to tales of heroism with anticipation.

cmfu发布 Now, they could only collapse limply on the wall, bodies torn apart, eyes empty as they stared at the sky—devoid of soul, devoid of life's warmth.

cmfu发布 As the Giants stepped over them, these bodies would turn into a flattened ss, indistinguishable from one another.

cmfu发布 Now, Knight Macken's heart was filled with regret and self-reproach. A few days ago, he thought his pressure stemd from a lack of confidence in the war. Now he realized what he had truly lost.

cmfu发布 Having earned the title of Dragon Slayer, the Knight tasked with defending Light God Pate's northernmost borders, a legendary Knight lauded by the people and bards alike, he only now rembered his original purpose for becoming a Paladin.

cmfu发布 "I shall fight for justice and the welfare of the people, live for the glory of Light God Pate..."

cmfu发布 Knight Macken hefted his giant sword once again, feeling its particular weight. Yet now, he felt he had enough motivation to wield this sword forever, to never stop fighting.

cmfu发布 He charged fiercely through the soldiers' hedgehog formation, racing to the front of the Giants. Without considering the potential of encountering a giant fist, he swung his sword directly at the enemy's knee.

cmfu发布 To scale the walls, the Giants wore no armor. As the Knight's giant sword swung past, a flash of white light appeared, and those giants suddenly beca the height of an ordinary human, collapsing like massive at mountains before the weapon-wielding guards.

cmfu发布 Their fate was all but sealed.

cmfu发布 Knight Macken battled tirelessly against the never-ending stream of Giants on the city walls. Each ti he was struck and bled, a flash of white light would gleam over his body, healing his wounds instantly. Then he would continue swinging the giant sword, tearing through the Giants' bodies and kicking them off the wall.

cmfu发布 Moon Harbor City's cavalry team had just returned to the city and, without any chance to regroup, were thrown back into the fray. In twos and threes, they ford columns and galloped through the city streets, taking down solitary Giants one by one.

cmfu发布 "Morgan, let go! Let up the wall! I want to take them all down!" Wislin shouted, shrugging off the heavy full body armor as he tried to free himself from the grip of the Dwarf holding him back. His mount lay on the ground, its body cleaved in two.
