Batana seized this opportunity and began to relentlessly suppress her opponents. One after another, Briza’s priests fell. The first matron was about to turn the tide with her own power.

At this mont, a sting emanated from the family’s badge, exactly like the feeling when Lynch destroyed the Adviser Badge last ti. Unlike typical destruction thods, the Adviser Mage’s approach caused the matron considerable discomfort. Feeling Zilvra’s complete betrayal pained her chest, and her spell faltered.

Briza didn’t understand why Batana paused, but she would be forever thankful to the Spider Goddess for this. She seized the chance and began her frenzied attack.

The first matron’s spellcasting ability was nearly exhausted. Seeing the unfavorable situation, she imdiately turned and left. Behind the throne in the Audience Hall, there was a long-prepared secret passage, leading to a place where she could regain her advantage.

Briza imdiately pursued, but she didn’t know the way into the secret passage. Watching her greatest enemy leave, her heart was filled with regret. The young matron was at a loss; she knelt down and loudly prayed to the Spider Goddess, hoping this deity could assist her.

Batana staggered through the secret passage, heading towards the sealing room at the bottom of the castle. There, the first family still held a god prisoner. Though it was rely the god’s body, having lost most of its power, with his help, reclaiming the first family was not an impossible task.

Moreover, the monsters in the sealing room would obey orders issued by her blood. Although doing so would release creatures expelled during the construction of Ratris City and potentially impact the entire Underdark, Batana now had no choice.

"Never be an enemy of Batana, do not give her ti." Most matrons who knew this saying had perished in the long years of struggle.

The doors to the sealing room slowly opened, and Batana looked inside with excitent: "Co forth! Demon beasts of the Abyss! Hear my command, and I will restore your freedom!"

The room offered no echo, appearing vast and silent, much like the castle of the first family itself.

Batana stepped into the room, confronted by demon corpses, with not a single intact body in sight. They looked as if they had been lted by an imnse force, consud by a terrifying energy, grotesquely incomplete, emitting a foul stench.

The stench! Observing so already decayed corpses, Batana roughly estimated the ti of these creatures’ deaths. She recalled that Zarra had reported to her that Zilvra had dumped Lynch into the sealing room. Later seeing the intact Adviser Mage, she dismissed it as a joke.

"Could it be..." Batana swayed, struggling to accept the blow: "He actually killed all those monsters? How is that possible?"

With this thought in mind, she anxiously searched for the God of Prophecy. As she feared, the ancient god who had lost Divine Power also lay there, unmoving, dead.

"Lynch! Vermin! You’ve been disrupting my plans all along!" Batana shouted angrily, "Even if the first family falls, I will make you taste the true nature of Hell! Zilvra, you beast! I should have strangled you long ago!"

Batana quickly exited the sealing room, advancing through the secret passage to the Black Crystal Tower. At this mont, she completely overlooked one thing, the body of the God of Prophecy showed no signs of decay, indicating his death occurred only a few days ago.

The events transpiring within the first family gradually alard the entire Ratris City, drawing all eyes there. None knew who was attacking the first family; they could only watch anxiously, uncertain if tomorrow’s Ratris City would remain as it was yesterday.

Yet Batana, who should have been at the center of this storm, had long left the premises of the first family, and she appeared alone beneath the Black Crystal Tower.

All matrons had the ans to enter this tower, but the defenses of the Black Crystal Tower were unresponsive to this first matron. The doors opened before the matron, and Batana stepped inside.
