In a tavern in Ratris City, Nimo and Deluo were sitting in a corner, hiding in the shadows, observing each custor who ca in. They were waiting for soone, a contact from the Underground Guild.

They had been there for half a day. Ever since Lynch had gone to the Black Crystal Tower, they started deciding their actions on their own. The purpose of their actions was to find Littlefinger Felps again and take him away from the Underground Guild. Although the guild had decided to take action against Lynch, the mage from the surface, having a halfling as an undercover could better grasp the enemy’s movents. But Deluo had realized over the past few days that, compared to the mage, Littlefinger’s situation was more dangerous.

Nimo looked bored at the glass of ale in front of him, which had lost its foam long ago from sitting too long. He glanced at Deluo’s Bloody Dwarf, accidentally caught a whiff of the peculiar sll in the drink, and couldn’t help but sneeze.

"Bless you, little Nimo." Deluo looked at the dwarf, "Perhaps you should go back to the inn to rest. Catching a cold wouldn’t be good."

"No, my health is fine, I just got a whiff from your drink." Nimo took out a handkerchief and wiped his nose vigorously, frowning at the purplish-red liquid, "Deluo, what on earth is your drink made from? Why does it sll so strange?"

"Oh, this is simply fernted with honey."

"Deluo, stop teasing . Honey has a sweet taste. How could it turn into such a fishy sll?"

"You an this fishy sll, right? This drink is called Bloody Dwarf. Naturally, dwarf blood is blended into the fernted honey, creating such a drink." Seeing Nimo’s expression as if he was about to vomit, Deluo hurriedly added, "Don’t worry, that was an orc’s thod of brewing, and no one does it that way anymore. This drink is made with special spices, with many underground fungi, brewed through a two-step ferntation process. It just slls the sa now, that’s all."

Nimo looked at Deluo: "How do you know so much about brewing this kind of drink?"

The warrior fixed his gaze on the dwarf for a mont, sighed softly, and slowly said, "Actually, my greatest wish is to open a little tavern of my own, brew my own beer, drink it myself, and sell the rest to custors. What a blissful life that would be."

The dwarf, at first hearing these words, didn’t think much of it, but after a brief pause, burst into laughter. He quickly used his sleeve to cover his mouth, preventing his laughter from spreading, but tears welled up in his eyes.

"Deluo, you drink the beer yourself and then sell what’s left. So, does that an your tavern might not have any beer left to sell?"

"Why not?" Deluo blushed as he explained, "I like to savor the beer; I don’t drink a lot. Besides, I have a plan."

"What’s the plan? Tell ." Nimo got energized, leaning closer to the warrior, ears perked.

"I’ll be in charge of brewing and managing the counter, watching the comings and goings of guests in the hall. If any guest wants to have a drinking contest, I’ll handle it. As for you, Nimo, the task of cleaning the tavern will be yours. Of course, it doesn’t an doing all the heavy lifting; you can invent a tool to wash the dishes on its own. Also, if any lovely sisters co in, you can greet them. I guarantee you’ll be very popular, and you’ll earn quite a bit, never having to worry about research funds again."

"Why should I be the one to greet those sisters? Can’t you hire an attendant to do that?" Nimo didn’t catch Deluo’s teasing and earnestly asked, "Then who will be the landlady?"

"The landlady would naturally be Li..." Deluo abruptly stopped his sentence, "Why are you asking this?"

"It’s nothing." Nimo tilted his head, pondering for a mont, "By the way, what do you plan to have Lynch do?"

"Cooking!"

The dwarf’s eyes widened, two round, gleaming water droplets staring at the warrior, stamring slightly, "Co... cook? Lynch... you want a mage to be a chef?"

"Yes, aren’t I clever? Think about it, Nimo..." Deluo leaned close to the dwarf’s ear, "Think about it, guests of any race might visit, and tastes would definitely vary, but a mage might just do the trick. Haven’t you noticed how delicious the roast Lynch makes for us is? That’s because he uses magic! He has a way of making all the food taste wonderfully good. Otherwise, how would he manage to cater to both our taste buds at once?"
