At midnight, the light at the market's back door remained lit.

Chen Wujun, Ah Fei, and Fa Zai sat inside the van.

In the distance, a refrigerated truck stopped in front of a seafood shop. Several young n were moving crates of aquatic products into the store.

A tall man wearing a floral shirt and yellow-tinted glasses walked out smoking a cigarette. He said sothing to the young n before returning inside.

"That's Shrimp King, one of Wen Long's n," Ah Fei said to Chen Wujun.

"Shrimp King? I'm eating this shrimp for sure. We're having salted prawns for supper tonight!" Chen Wujun toyed with a fox mask he found in the vehicle.

Monts later, the cargo was unloaded, and the truck drove away.

After moving the last two crates inside, the young n checked the surroundings, pulled down the roller shutter, and locked it from within.

Only then did Chen Wujun put on the fox mask and push the car door open.

He held a knife in each hand, twirling them with a flourish as he walked.

Upon reaching the seafood shop's entrance, Chen Wujun tossed the knives to Ah Fei. He took a deep breath, circulating his qi and blood until his entire body seed to swell slightly.

His arms, in particular, thickened a full circle, becoming as hard as refined steel.

boom!

Chen Wujun's fists punched straight through the roller shutter. He grabbed the torn edges and ripped outward with imnse force.

Riiiiiip!

Half of the entire roller shutter was torn open.

Inside, Wen Long's subordinates, who were sorting goods from beneath the crates, were startled. They quickly grabbed knives from under shelves and inside cabinets, rushing toward the entrance.

What t them was a man wearing a fox mask, his muscles stretching his shirt tight, charging through the breach in the shutter with a blade in hand.

The mont he landed, his dual blades danced. He knocked aside two incoming machetes and slashed across the throats of two thugs. Both n collapsed, clutching their necks.

Chen Wujun stomped the ground and surged forward, his steel blades falling repeatedly to cut down three more n.

Shrimp King, watching from inside, felt as though this intruder was as ferocious as a bulldozer. Terror flooded his heart.

However, seeing the man's figure—despite the fox mask—the Turtle Back Crane Form was too distinctive to miss.

"Chen Wujun? Aren't you supposed to be heavily injured?"

Under the mask, Chen Wujun's expression turned cold. 'He recognized even like this?'

'You know too much. I absolutely cannot let you run.'

With a stomp, he launched himself toward Shrimp King like a cannonball.

Shrimp King dared not fight him. He grabbed a crate, hurled it at Chen Wujun, then spun around and sprinted toward the back door, kicking it open.

However, the mont he charged out, his feet slipped. Shrimp King went flying, while a rich aroma of soybean oil assaulted his nose.

"F*ck!" Shrimp King was horrified.

So bastard had poured a layer of soybean oil on the ground.

Two blades descended toward him. Shrimp King rolled frantically, but the ground was slick with oil, making it impossible to find leverage.

Curry and Ah Wei had prepared this trap carefully against an unsuspecting target.

A blade slashed directly into his arm.

Shrimp King groaned, trying to escape again, but it was too late.

Seeing him fall, Chen Wujun knew sothing was up. He chased to the back door, kicked off the ground, and leaped into the air, bringing both blades down toward Shrimp King.

Skelch!

Shrimp King's head was split halfway open.

Chen Wujun kicked off Shrimp King's body, vaulted onto a nearby condint counter, and then hopped down, laughing and cursing,

"Slippery bastard, you even knew to pour oil on the ground!"

Curry chuckled.

He had been to the textile factory and knew how Chen Wujun had dealt with Harris.

If even a mutated expert like Harris couldn't keep his footing, what chance did Shrimp King have?

So, after the market closed, he brought several jugs of soybean oil. Once the security patrol passed, he doused the area outside the back door.

Chen Wujun kicked Shrimp King's body back inside to use as a stepping stone and vaulted into the seafood shop.

The other three thugs had already been finished off by Ah Fei and Fa Zai, who had followed him in.

Chen Wujun's eyes imdiately landed on the floor nearby, where perfectly wrapped square bricks were piled in sacks.

"Take the stuff."

He scanned the room, his gaze settling on the glass tanks. "These crabs and shrimp look nice. Sea cucumbers too... Go get a bag. We're having a late-night snack."

Fa Zai opened a sack nearby. Chen Wujun grabbed a net and scooped up so crabs, shrimp, and sea cucumbers. The group then exited, boarded the van, and left.

From punching through the shutter to their departure, the entire operation took less than three minutes.

Counting the seafood heist, which took a minute and a half.

An hour later, several n arrived outside the seafood shop. Seeing the torn shutter from a distance, their expressions changed instantly.

"Notify the boss. Sothing happened."

Another hour passed before Wen Long rushed over. Looking at the carnage in the shop, his eyes practically spat fire, his expression manic.

"Investigate! Check everything!"

"No matter who did this, I'm going to kill his entire family!"

"Boss, could it be Shark Jiu?" a subordinate whispered.

"Check first!" Wen Long gritted his teeth. He also suspected Shark Jiu.

ntioning Shark Jiu made his eyes turn gloomy.

The score between him and Shark Jiu wasn't just a matter of one or two incidents.

That crazy woman was too strong—terrifyingly so.

He had fought Shark Jiu once and barely escaped with his life. Thinking about it now still gave him lingering fear.

"And investigate her Head Horse, Chen Wujun... Make sure he's really heavily injured in the hospital..." Wen Long's eyes held a deep chill.

...

When Ah Fei arrived at the hospital, an induction cooker was set up on the floor of the ward. Curry and Ah Wei were squatting down, tossing crabs into the pot.

"This guy is so fierce, even trying to pinch ..."

"Lift the pot, the water's boiling over..."

"No vinegar? Ah Wei, go get a bottle of vinegar."

"Brother Jun, it's hidden," Ah Fei said, walking up to Chen Wujun.

Chen Wujun nodded, then sent a text ssage to Snake Aunt, asking her to help track Ji Xiang's movents.

The next day, Ah Fei slipped the nurse another hush fee. After taking the money, the nurse said, "Wait a mont."

She turned to fetch her costics, entered the room, and placed them on the windowsill. Opening them, she comnted, "Looking like this, you could beat a bear to death. Who would believe you're injured? We need so powder; you need to look haggard."

She patted a powder puff on Chen Wujun's face a few tis, wiped his cheeks, and dabbed his lips.

She stood up to check her work, then left with her costics, satisfied.

"Truly impressive!" Ah Fei looked closely and held up a mirror for Chen Wujun.

Chen Wujun's face and lips were now pale, and his cheeks appeared slightly sunken.

"That's why professional matters should be left to professionals! Good work!" Chen Wujun nodded in satisfaction.

Indeed, to get things done, one must use both money and fists. Aside from threats, you have to offer benefits so people will help you wholeheartedly.

In the afternoon, Flower Boy Rong and Cun Bao arrived, each carrying a basket of apples.

"You two are so synchronized. I could open an apple stand tomorrow," Chen Wujun said, looking at the apples held by their subordinates.

"Apples for safety and peace, right? Next ti I'll bring oranges—guaranteed success!" Flower Boy Rong laughed.

"Oranges would be nice!" Chen Wujun imdiately decided Flower Boy Rong was quite pleasing to the eye and forgave him for visiting a day late.

"Why is your face so pale?"

"I was stabbed several tis. Hemorrhagic shock... of course I'm pale!" Chen Wujun replied instantly.

"I know your strength. To injure you this badly, it must have been an expert." Cun Bao was an honest man and knew Chen Wujun's capabilities well.

Even with a surprise attack by assassins, heavily injuring Chen Wujun wouldn't be easy.

Chen Wujun imdiately felt Cun Bao was very perceptive and forgave him for visiting a day late as well.

"Do you know who did it? I heard so rumors; it doesn't look like Lidong's people."

"It was the Luoyue people! Although Lidong didn't do it personally, they definitely paid for it. I'll settle the score with them once I'm discharged," Chen Wujun said, gnashing his teeth.

Although he hadn't confird their exact identities, certain characteristics pointed to their origins.

He hadn't even gone looking for trouble with those Luoyue people yet, but they had sent soone to kill him.

Those Luoyue people were simply courting death!

"That sounds likely. As long as you know what's what," Cun Bao nodded.

The two stayed with Chen Wujun for half an hour before leaving.

At seven in the evening, Chen Wujun received a text ssage: Ji Xiang went to the COCO Bar in Xiangbutou.

"Damn it! Finally found him." Chen Wujun jumped straight out of bed.

Ah Qi had just entered the room and saw him leap down. "Mind your wounds!"

"Nothing to worry about... Get soone in here to listen to the lessons! Xiang Zai, you're up!" Chen Wujun said, his eyes darting around.

"Rember, I've been here listening to lessons the whole ti!" Chen Wujun gave a casual instruction as he stripped off his patient gown, revealing a muscular physique and a pair of red boxers.

He had asked Ah Fei to buy them today—red to wash away the bad luck.

Ah Qi's gaze drifted away.

Chen Wujun put on dress trousers and a shirt, then had Xiang Zai lie in his bed.

"Ah Fei, you stay here and guard."

"Fa Zai and Ah Wei, co with . And you too..."

"Brother Jun, I'm Ah Yao."

"Right, Ah Yao." Chen Wujun nodded.

Ah Yao drove, and the four of them arrived at Xiangbutou. They circled the area first to familiarize themselves with the terrain. Chen Wujun checked his phone for a text: "Go to the Ocean Terminal Parking Lot."

Monts later, the car entered the parking lot. After driving around, they found Ji Xiang's car—a white sedan.

"Ah Yao, open his trunk."

Bringing Ah Yao along was specifically for this purpose.

Whatever Ah Yao did, the trunk of Ji Xiang's car popped open in monts.

Ah Wei tossed a bag of items into the trunk.

"Eight million... I don't know how much Lidong paid to have killed, but with a net worth this high, he should be thanking !" Chen Wujun muttered.

He felt the price Lidong put on his head wasn't even eight million.

Ji Xiang, that drop-dead loser, ought to say thank you.

"Keep watch from a distance. Let know if anything happens," Chen Wujun told Ah Wei.

He then led the others out of the parking lot to a public phone booth.

"Hello? I want to report a cri. I just saw soone at... Ocean Terminal Parking Lot, sneaking around and stuffing a corpse into a trunk... Yes, I'm certain it was a corpse. The license plate is..."

"The person is now at COCO Bar... I've seen him before; his na is Ji Xiang..."

"I'm a good citizen, you know. Rember to send a Good Citizen Award!"

Chen Wujun finished speaking and slamd the phone down.

Returning to the car, he smiled broadly. "My dad told from a young age, if there's trouble, call the police. Do you think the Federal Police will give a citizen's award?"

"Ten kilograms... that's a huge case. They definitely owe Brother Jun an award," Fa Zai imdiately played along.

"You can go collect it for when the ti cos!" Chen Wujun laughed heartily.

Before long, several patrolling Federal Police officers jogged past them.

Then, two police cruisers entered the parking lot.

Chen Wujun felt that, in a little while, the look on Ji Xiang's face was going to be priceless.
