Qiao Nian looked at the coffee and paused before reaching out for it.
The mont her fingertips touched the cup, the heat passed through her fingers to her body, dispelling the coldness. Only now did she realize that Ye Wangchuan had brought her a cup of hot coffee.
“You…”
Stunned, Qiao Nian looked up and almost asked how he knew she was taking a cold shower.
However, she realized this question would be too ambiguous on this occasion. It’d be as if she was hinting at sothing else. So, she silently shut up and lowered her head to sip the coffee.
The coffee and milk’s aroma perated the air.
Instead of normal black coffee, the taste was more like coffee milk.
She recalled how a certain soone had insisted on giving her milk and was instantly speechless. She sat on the sofa and placed the coffee on the coffee table.
Only then did she look up, not bothering to hide her emotions. “I’m fine.”
She knew Ye Wangchuan could tell that she was in a bad mood.
She was indeed in a bad mood.
However, it was not particularly bad. She could still digest those feelings herself.
Ye Wangchuan opened his hand. The light from outside shone in and enveloped him. Qiao Nian saw a beautiful candy in his palm.
“Chen Chen prepared it for you.”

Qiao Nian subconsciously frowned and looked up at him in disbelief.
Ye Wangchuan did not say he was the one who brought the little guy to buy it. He only naturally said, “He bought lots of candy for you. All kinds of flavors. I specially brought so. Aren’t you often annoyed? When you’re annoyed, don’t play with the lighter. Eating candy will ease it.”
Qiao Nian looked at him in a daze for a few seconds before retracting her gaze. She slowly took the candy and nonchalantly asked, “Did you buy it or did Chen Chen buy it?”
She didn’t think the little guy bought them, but the little guy did like to buy her these trinkets.
But she believed Ye Qichen couldn’t tell she was easily annoyed recently.
Recently, she couldn’t control her emotions and was easily agitated. Hence, she found the lighter she had not used in a long ti and played with it when she was annoyed.
Even Qin Si didn’t notice this small detail.
He noticed she was carrying a silver lighter but did not realize she was using it to process her emotions.
Ye Wangchuan was the only one who noticed it.
Qiao Nian couldn’t tell what she was feeling. She just felt that he was quite vicious. He was silent, but he could even see through her little moves.
There seed to be soone who understood her in this lonely universe.
He would understand her even if she didn’t say anything.
Qiao Nian peeled off the wrapper and tossed the orange-flavored candy into her mouth. Blinking, she extended a hand to him. “Then I want a few more.”
Ye Wangchuan took a few more candies from his gray knitted shirt pocket and handed them over. He placed them in her hand and did not forget to remind her, “Eat less. Be careful of a toothache.”
Qiao Nian stared at him seriously for a few seconds. “Tsk, have you heard of dad-type boyfriends?”
Shen Qingqing told her about this type of boyfriend.
Ye Wangchuan quite fit this type.
Lost in her thoughts, her face was pinched, and the man’s low and hoarse smiling voice ca from above. “Are you saying I’m old?”
Qiao Nian wanted to pull down the brim of her cap but rembered she had just co out of the shower and gave up. “Not really. I an you’re ticulous.”
“Oh.” He was still smiling.
