“Ring, ring.”
Even after the phone rang seven or eight tis, no one picked it up.

“Sorry, the number you have dialed is not available at the mont. Please call at a later ti.”
No one picked up the call?

Qiao Chen’s heart suddenly missed a beat, and she bit her lower lip. She bit it so hard she almost tore her lip. “Is Qiao Nian getting a recomndation to Qing University?”
The professor from Qing University they saw that day was really going to recruit Qiao Nian?
But she had heard from her uncle that Qiao Nian was going to participate in the independent enrollnt examination.
It ant that after they left, Professor Liang did not choose Qiao Nian. Otherwise, why would she choose to sit for the independent enrollnt examination instead of going to the Clinical Departnt?
In a short period of ti, Qiao Chen thought of many things, most of which was the jealousy she could not suppress. With it surging within her heart, her mood suddenly worsened.
“You don’t know?”
Qiao Chen’s head was filled with the thought about Qiao Nian being recomnded, she answered him carelessly, “I, I don’t know.”
Fu Ge’s heart suddenly sank. He didn’t have any reason to doubt Chen Yuan’s sarcastic words. His face beca embarrassed, and he asked again, “You really don’t know?”
Qiao Chen grasped her cell phone tightly and vaguely felt that sothing was wrong, but she couldn’t tell what. Biting her lip, she said softly, “I don’t know. I ca to Beijing with my aunt and uncle a month ago and have been studying all this ti, so I didn’t pay attention to the news from Rao City.”
