"How about you try and see if I dare?"
iji smirked mischievously and raised her hand to hit Mu Chienchien’s body.
Qin Qin’s face was cold and grim as she swiftly moved forward to grasp Mu Chienchien’s hand when iji aid towards Mu Chienchien’s body, releasing spiritual energy towards Mu Chienchien. She didn’t exert force but instead infused spiritual energy into Mu Chienchien’s body.
iji’s expression changed slightly, apparently discomforted by the attack of the spiritual energy.
She exerted force to step back, staring at Qin Qin with disbelief, "I underestimated you!"
She had just awakened and left the Demon Slaying Platform not long ago, her powers not fully restored, but even without full recovery, it was impossible for a normal woman to injure her.
Now her true form felt sowhat uncomfortable, clearly hurt.
She had underestimated this woman.
iji held onto Mu Chienchien’s body, but in reality, she wanted to cover herself, feeling so discomfort.
"Get out of my friend’s body or I won’t be polite to you."
Qin Qin raised her hand, intending to strike iji again with spiritual energy.
iji laughed coldly, she hadn’t even begun to use her abilities yet, and Qin Qin already wanted to be impolite.
iji suddenly looked off into the distance where several people were approaching, their expressions sullen.
iji stared straight at Qin Qin, not avoiding as Qin Qin attacked her, allowing Qin Qin to direct spiritual energy towards her, aiming to expel iji from Mu Chienchien’s body.
She feigned to fall backward while Qin Qin struck her, letting out a pathetic yelp.
"Why are you hitting ?"
iji showed a pitiful expression, lying on the ground clutching her chest as if severely bullied by Qin Qin.
"What are you doing?"
A sharp rebuke ca from nearby. A woman forcefully pushed Qin Qin aside, then ran to hold iji up, "Are you alright?"
iji made a wronged face and shook her head, "I’m fine."
"Is it really you?"
A sowhat familiar voice sounded, and Qin Qin looked up to see several people standing before her unawares. Leading them was a man she had t before, Mu Feng, from Peaceful Village and the Ghost Market.
Mu Feng coldly looked at Qin Qin. He and his friends had co to Jingdu City for so matters, sensing a vaguely familiar figure on the road which quickly disappeared. He imdiately began searching, wanting to interrogate her about whether they were responsible for the past events and why they killed so many people.
"Ah Feng, do you know her?"
The woman holding iji looked at Mu Feng. Standing beside Mu Feng were Moo Sen and Moo Yaen, who had been with him before, both staring icily at Qin Qin.
The woman gazed at Qin Qin, envy in her eyes; was there really such a beautiful woman in the world? However, based on Mu Feng’s attitude, she didn’t seem to be a good person!
"You killed so many people and it’s not enough, now you want to kill soone here? I’m definitely taking you to the police station today."
Mu Feng finished speaking and advanced to seize Qin Qin.
Qin Qin’s face was cold as she stepped back while Mu Feng tried to grab her, swiping away his hand, her beautiful eyes coldly swept over them, "I don’t know what nonsense you’re spouting?"
Qin Qin’s gaze fixed on iji, who smiled triumphantly back. She wanted to see how Qin Qin would handle the situation, enjoying the drama.
"Nonsense, dare you say you and your husband didn’t kill those dozens of people in Peaceful Village back then? Besides you, who else?"
Mu Feng angrily shouted at Qin Qin.
Qin Qin looked mockingly at Mu Feng, so that was what he was referring to.
"Shouldn’t a group of criminals be dead? They wanted to kill , should I wait at the spot for them to kill ? Ridiculous!"
"You’re lying! What criminal group? Those people were clearly villagers of Peaceful Village, and you’re making excuses for killing them."
Moo Yaen stepped forward to scold Qin Qin. Back then, upon exiting the Forest of Death, they saw the ground covered with corpses, shocking and terrifying, even those accustod to big scenes were startled, wondering what kind of ruthless person could commit such brutality.
Qin Qin for the first ti felt that ignorance was truly terrifying, especially talking to ignorant people was even scarier.
"Villagers of Peaceful Village? That’s laughable, their machinations nearly got you killed in the Forest of Death, yet you consider them good people. They had already placed poisonous plants in our food that day, you forgot how you almost fell into an illusion in the Forest of Death? That was all their work."
"It’s ridiculous that you were kept in the dark, yet you speak for those people."
