Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen exchanged a glance, their eyes cold. Soone was tracking them, judging by the footsteps, it was a woman, which ant that Moo Ting was following them in.
Ignoring Moo Ting who was tracking them, Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen continued to walk forward.
Behind them, Moo Ting hid in the cave at the corner, peeking out to look ahead. The man and woman stood ten ters away, paused, and she wondered if they had discovered her?
Moo Ting felt her heart tighten a bit, but when she saw the two continuing to walk forward nonchalantly, she relaxed. It seed they hadn’t noticed her.
She had just woken from slumber and felt soone pass by her. She opened her eyes to see that annoying woman being led into the depths of the cave by the tall, outstanding man. After the two had disappeared, Moo Ting hesitated for a mont, deciding not to inform Mu Feng and the others, and followed them.
She kept a long distance, deliberately slowing her pace, afraid that the two would notice her. Thankfully, they hadn’t.
Watching the two walk ahead, Moo Ting followed.
It was unclear how long they’d walked, but Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen eventually stopped. In front of them appeared a large cave.
Qin Qin wanted to take a step forward, but Mo Yunchen pulled her back.
"Let do it!"
Mo Yunchen stepped forward to look, only to find a bottomless abyss a ter away from them.
With furrowed brows, Mo Yunchen stood beside Qin Qin, looking at the abyss in front of them. "How can there be such a deep place here? Those footprints clearly lead this way, but with such a deep abyss, it’s impossible those people jumped in, right!"
"How could there be anyone here?"
A haughty voice sounded from behind Qin Qin, as Moo Ting erged. She was still waiting for these two to find so clues, but all they found was a large abyss, with nothing in it?
This woman had offended her, and she was determined to take the chance to deal with them.
Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen turned to look at Moo Ting, who stood in front of them, her eyes showing ridicule and coldness, with a subtle hint of malice.
Moo Ting’s hand moved slightly at her side, then lifted it, sending several ice daggers shooting towards Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen. She wanted to catch them off guard with this act of revenge for the humiliation she suffered the past two days.
The ice daggers moved swiftly, Qin Qin’s expression was icy, this Moo Ting truly seed fed up with living.
As the ice daggers were launched, a few Silver Needles appeared in Qin Qin’s hand, but before she could throw them, Mo Yunchen had already stepped in front of her. Without any movent, a fierce aura radiated from Mo Yunchen, a power so overwhelming that Qin Qin had never seen before, catching the ice daggers in mid-air twenty centiters in front of him.
Moo Ting stared in disbelief at the scene, while Qin Qin, standing behind Mo Yunchen, hid her surprise behind her glasses. What kind of ability was this? Was it also a Special Ability? She had never seen Mo Yunchen use it this way before.
"How is this possible? What... what kind of ability is this?"
Moo Ting shrieked, seeing her ice daggers blocked by Mo Yunchen, unable to advance further.
Mo Yunchen’s phoenix-like eyes narrowed, and the ice daggers swiftly shot back towards Moo Ting.
Moo Ting stepped back in fright, not knowing what to do. The ice daggers rapidly returned, two of them narrowly grazed her arm and abdon.
Moo Ting cried out in pain, clutching her bleeding abdon, glaring at Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen.
Mo Yunchen stood tall and stalwart, guarding Qin Qin like a protective deity.
Qin Qin’s lips curled slightly, as she was about to reach out to hold Mo Yunchen’s hand, when suddenly the ground shook violently, the tremor so intense that Qin Qin, caught off guard, fell backward just as she was about to grab Mo Yunchen’s hand, tumbling towards the bottomless abyss behind her.
"Mo Yunchen!"
Mo Yunchen quickly turned around, leaping without hesitation to grab Qin Qin, and together they plunged into the abyss.
As the tremor intensified, Moo Ting couldn’t help but lean against the wall behind her for support. She watched Mo Yunchen leap behind to grab Qin Qin, both of them disappearing into the abyss, feeling a pang of jealousy and envy. What kind of emotion would drive a man to jump without thinking to save that woman? No wonder he didn’t spare her a glance, his eyes only for that woman.
But at least, that woman would no longer be in her way. Since that man didn’t like her, then he might as well accompany that woman down there.
