"What are you doing?"
Feng Bai rushed out from inside and saw Madam Li being held hostage, her fair and delicate face showing a cold edge.
Feng Bai walked forward. Li Jingmo tried to hold her back, "Feng Bai, I’m here, don’t go over."
"I will be fine."
Though she didn’t like Madam Li, she couldn’t stand by and watch a bad person succeed. She would save anyone in this situation.
"Exchange for her, this lady has no more strength left."
Feng Bai spread her hands and walked forward. Li Jingmo’s expression changed as he attempted to hold her back. A hand grabbed him. Li Jingmo looked at the hand’s owner, Qin Qin, who smiled faintly, "Feng Bai will be alright."
Madam Li looked complexly at Feng Bai, who was approaching the robber. This was the woman she had forced to leave her son, the woman she was most dissatisfied with. Yet now, the daughter-in-law she approved of was ignoring her cries for help, while the one she disapproved of was stepping forward to offer herself in her place.
"Don’t co over!" Madam Li shook her head at Feng Bai. Feng Bai looked at Madam Li and whispered, "I won’t let anything happen to you. If sothing happens to you, Li Jingmo would be sad."
"Stop chattering, or I’ll kill her!"
The robber, angry that the two won were chatting in front of him, slashed Madam Li’s neck as a warning. Although the cut was not deep, it bled significantly.
Feng Bai squinted her eyes, a cold light flickering in them, "Exchange for her, I’ll be your hostage."
The robber stared at the approaching Feng Bai, his gaze flickered, holding Madam Li and shouting around with the knife, "All of you get out of the way."
The onlookers, already terrified, stood far away watching.
The robber glanced at the now limp with fear Madam Li in his arms. If he escaped with such a burden, he wouldn’t get far. Since that woman was keen to seek death, he might as well agree.
"You, co over here!"
The robber pointed at Feng Bai, who walked forward.
"Miss, don’t go!"
Several police officers and onlookers called out.
Feng Bai ignored everyone’s advice and continued to move forward.
As Feng Bai reached him, the robber forcefully pushed Madam Li aside and quickly grabbed Feng Bai, placing the knife against her neck.
Li Jingmo helped Madam Li up, and she grabbed his hand, "Quick, quick, go save her!"
"Shut up, you old hag."
The robber shouted at the crying Madam Li.
In the mont of distraction, a Silver Needle shot into the man’s wrist, causing him to drop the knife.
Seeing this, Feng Bai locked the man’s arm, gave him an over-the-shoulder throw, and then kicked him hard, making him unable to resist.
"Auntie, auntie, spare ."
The robber held the part he was kicked, but Feng Bai was not satisfied and kicked him again, "That’s what you get for being a bad person and doing bad things."
The crowd watched this fierce scene in amazent. The once high-spirited robber now resembled a mouse, and the seemingly delicate and beautiful woman was so fierce, beating the robber without him being able to fight back. That over-the-shoulder throw was amazing.
A few police officers snapped back to reality, quickly took out handcuffs, and arrested the robber.
"Take away, take away."
The robber, bruised and battered, pleaded with the police.
"Feng Bai, are you okay? Don’t ever do that again, alright?"
Li Jingmo stepped forward to check Feng Bai, and seeing she was unhard, he finally sighed in relief.
"Feng Bai, I’m sorry, I was blind back then, being rude to you."
Madam Li, ashad, approached Feng Bai to apologize.
"Auntie, it’s great that you’re alright."
Loo Ziman, who had been hiding at the side, hesitated for a mont before stepping forward after seeing Madam Li was okay. She couldn’t just watch Madam Li and Feng Bai reconcile while she beca distant from Madam Li. She believed that since Madam Li liked her so much, she would surely forgive her actions.
Madam Li looked icily at Loo Ziman, withdrew the hand Loo Ziman held, and said coldly, "I cannot afford your ’auntie’ title."
"Auntie, I didn’t an to, I was just scared earlier, believe ."
Loo Ziman cried as she spoke. She absolutely couldn’t afford to make Madam Li dislike her; otherwise, she’d never be with Li Jingmo.
"I’m not blind; I see clearly."
Madam Li said coldly, ignoring Loo Ziman, and warmly apologized to Feng Bai.
Li Jingmo looked coldly at Loo Ziman, and then everyone ignored her standing in the middle of the road and headed into the Heavenly dicine Clinic.
Qin Qin stood at the doorway, staring at Loo Ziman crying in the middle of the road, and said calmly, "Those who do more evil will destroy themselves, Miss Loo, do take care."
