Steward Wei was stunned; these costics had only recently been opened—why would the madam suddenly want to throw them away?

Looking at the bewildered expression on the steward’s face, Jing Zhiyue said indifferently, and the steward, not daring to say anything more, nodded and moved to clear the costics.

A chilling and intimidating voice ca, and both Steward Wei and Jing Zhiyue turned to look.
“Master Mo, you’re back? The madam asked to clean up these costics,” said Steward Wei in a low voice.
Jing Zhiyue walked towards Mo Yunchen with a smile, “I just suddenly didn’t want to use these costics anymore. Are you happy I ca back today? Don’t ask to leave, okay?”
Just as Jing Zhiyue was about to hold Mo Yunchen’s hand, putting on an innocent and pitiful act, an arm suddenly wrapped tightly around Jing Zhiyue’s neck.
The steward was shocked. What’s wrong with Master Mo? Why is he choking the madam?

Jing Zhiyue attempted to make Mo Yunchen believe her. Surely, Qin Qin hadn’t personally approached Mo Yunchen; otherwise, it wouldn’t be Mo Yunchen choking her now, and there would be no sight of Qin Qin. Perhaps he was just suspicious and wanted to trick her into revealing herself.
