That night, Qin Qin’s face burned like fire, the pain so intense that it jolted her awake.
The instant she lifted her head, she saw her reflection in the mirror, her cheeks as red as flas, the redness spreading from her forehead to her lips, the crimson cheeks twisted and horrifying.

She wanted to touch her face, burning like fire, but her hands and feet were bound, forcing her to witness her disfigured cheeks.

Everything was beyond her expectations. She had thought Qin Qin would be scared, would yell and create a scene, giving her the satisfaction of tornting Qin Qin into greater pain, but seeing Qin Qin’s current deanor, Jing Zhii’s plan to mock her fell flat. Why was this happening?
“Sorry, I haven’t reacted as you wished.”
Qin Qin smiled faintly; how could she possibly fulfill her wish?
“Hahaha, good. I want to see just how tough you can be.
