Chapter 508: Chapter 220: Return to Peng County for Ancestral Worship, Take Wedding Photos_2 Chapter 508: Chapter 220: Return to Peng County for Ancestral Worship, Take Wedding Photos_2 It was only when Qin An and Qin Qin got out of the car that she broke into a smile and walked over, “Qin An, Qin Qin, you’re back?”
“Yes, Grandma Xu,” Qin Qin said with a slight smile.
Mo Yunchen got out of the car. His tall and upright figure prompted a second glance from Grandma Xu. “Who is this?”
“This is my husband,” Qin Qin said softly, shocking Grandma Xu. Qin Qin was married?
“You…” Grandma Xu didn’t know what to say, and simply shut her mouth.
“Mo Yunchen, this is Grandma Xu, soone who has always been very kind to ,” Qin Qin said to Mo Yunchen with a light smile.
Mo Yunchen nodded politely at Grandma Xu, his deep and sexy voice sounding out, “Grandma Xu.”
Grandma Xu nodded blankly, still not quite recovering from her surprise. She sized up Mo Yunchen and realized that this man, who looked several years older than Qin Qin, was strikingly handso and not an ordinary person. His accent didn’t seem like that of a Chuandu City native, but rather resembled the Mandarin accent of soone from Jingdu City on television.
After all, Grandma Xu was an outsider. It wasn’t appropriate for her to ask too many questions, so she simply smiled and wished Qin Qin well.
Lee Fong brought down the gifts Qin Qin had bought for everyone. Qin An took them and handed them to Grandma Xu, “Aunt Xu, I didn’t bring anything special this ti, but thank you for looking after my ho. Please accept these gifts.”
He handed several large red gift boxes to Grandma Xu, who refused with a shake of her hand, but Qin Qin pushed them into her hands.
“Please accept them, Grandma Xu. We are very grateful to you, you’ve provided us a place to rest upon our return.”
Grandma Xu, with no good reason to refuse anymore, accepted the gifts.
A middle-aged woman, who was quite close to Grandma Xu, approached upon observing the scene and exclaid in amazent upon seeing the items in Grandma Xu’s hands, “I’ve seen this before in Peng County—it’s top-quality Arican Ginseng, worth a lot of money, indeed. Qin Qin, you really are generous.”
The middle-aged woman spoke enviously, secretly harboring a hint of jealousy. If only she had been on good terms with Qin An’s family back in the day, maybe she would have received a share of such bounty.
Qin Qin smiled and stayed silent, while Qin Shuqing and Qin Chenggang watched the scene unfold with complicated emotions.
Zhang Jine and Lee Shuhua, looking disheveled, also stood in the crowd, not daring to co forward as they knew how formidable Qin Qin was. They no longer dared to be as reckless as they used to be.
Logically, they were the people most closely related to Qin An, yet now they were the most despised. They heavily regretted their foolish actions in the past; now they were missing out on the benefits, while a stranger had gained them.
As the crowd dispersed, they saw the group of four still standing there and couldn’t help but sneer.
Qin Qin entered the house first, leading Mo Yunchen inside. The house was simple, and she was worried that Mo Yunchen might not be accustod to it, but seeing his interest in her living place, she felt sowhat relieved.
Just as Qin An was about to enter the house, Qin Shuqing and Qin Chenggang approached.
“Second brother.”
“Second brother.”
Qin An halted, and Lee Fong stood beside him, looking coldly at these four individuals. She was aware of their shaless deeds.
“Big brother, do you need sothing?” Qin An still felt sowhat uncomfortable facing them.
Qin Shuqing coughed a few tis, knowing he owed an apology to his younger brother.
“It’s good to see you back and living well. I can rest easy knowing that.”
“I wronged you in the past, it’s natural for you to be angry with . I’ve decided to divorce your sister-in-law.”
“I… I hope soday you can forgive . It was my fault,” Qin Shuqing said softly, his voice filled with sadness.
Qin An looked at Qin Shuqing and Qin Chenggang with complicated feelings, also glancing at Zhang Jine and Lee Shuhua who stood behind them, not daring to co forward.
“Big brother, what happens between you two is your business, not mine,” Qin An said.
After speaking, Qin An headed back into the house. He truly wasn’t ready to forgive Qin Shuqing and the others yet.
Qin Shuqing’s expression was mournful as he watched Qin An and Lee Fong enter the house.
“Let’s go, it’s ti to head back.”
Qin Shuqing turned to leave, his lonely figure making no attempt to glance at Lee Shuhua, who stood by his side.
Qin Chenggang closed his eyes, overwheld with guilt, reflecting on how Qin An had always been good to him, giving him everything. Yet as they grew up, he had forgotten it all and beco narrow-minded.
He touched his own la right foot; could this be his karma? Qin An’s once-severed hand had healed, while his own foot had beco permanently crippled.
Qin Chenggang also ignored Zhang Jine next to him and walked away.
After the two left, Lee Shuhua and Zhang Jine couldn’t hold back any longer and began to cry.
Inside the house, Qin Qin was led by Mo Yunchen around her room, smiling as she explained various things to him.
