Bai Jinyan and Gu Qing turned to look at Qin Qin standing beside Steward Feng.
“Young Master, there’s news about Ms. Yu,” Steward Feng said.
“What did you say?” Bai Jinyan’s expression changed drastically, releasing the hands from Gu Qing’s wheelchair and stepping forward rapidly, “Where is she?”
Gu Qing watched Bai Jinyan’s excitent, her usually gentle and sweet smile fading, her hand tightening on the wheelchair’s armrest.
Since Yu Qianqian’s disappearance, she had noticed a change in Jinyan; he had beco agitated, unlike his usual composed self. Driven by a woman’s sixth sense, she sensed his feelings for Yu Qianqian were not rely brotherly but that of a man for a woman.
Thinking of this made Gu Qing feel a tinge of sorrow, knowing that Bai Jinyan was so good to her solely because she had told him that she had saved him when he fell into the water.
If he knew, no, he must never find out.
Bai Jinyan stood in front of Qin Qin, looking at her intently and asked urgently, “Do you know where Qianqian is? Tell quickly!”
He couldn’t wait for even a mont longer; Yu Qianqian had been missing for more than ten days, and he didn’t know how he had managed to endure them.
Qin Qin looked at the striking Bai Jinyan, at the urgency in his eyes, and inwardly sighed.
Perhaps Bai Jinyan did harbor romantic feelings for Qianqian, it’s just that he seed yet to recognize his own emotions.

“You… What did you say? Qianqian asked you to co save ?” Gu Qing’s hand clutched her lifeless leg, her expression complex.
Yu Qianqian was a genuinely kind woman, without the slightest hint of scheming. Gu Qing couldn’t bring herself to dislike Yu Qianqian, but because of Bai Jinyan, she couldn’t quite bring herself to like her either.
Qin Qin didn’t speak as she crouched down to examine Gu Qing’s leg, then pinched it a few tis, asking if she felt anything. Gu Qing shook her head.
Bai Jinyan stood behind Qin Qin, “Is she doing well now?”
Gu Qing looked at Bai Jinyan, her eyes flickering with struggle and pain, then lowered her gaze without speaking.
