Chapter 317: Chapter 191: Swindler vs Swindler_6 Chapter 317: Chapter 191: Swindler vs Swindler_6 A casual remark caused a group of people to gaze at Qin Qin in astonishnt.
“You’re the owner of Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance?” inquired the elegant and noble Mother Leng. Since Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance had opened in Jingdu City, she had beco a regular custor, frequently visiting with other ladies of high society. Eventually, she had even beco a platinum mber of Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance, a status that ca with the privilege of visiting without an appointnt.
And now, sitting before her was the owner of Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance. Recalling how she had just earlier suspected this person of coveting the Leng Family, she felt sowhat embarrassed.
Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance had now spread across many major cities in Yun Country, each location enjoying resounding success. Moreover, she had heard that Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance had connections with both the recently prominent Heavenly dicine Group and Qin’s Security Company.
It was hard to imagine that the person behind these businesses was such a young entrepreneur. Although these establishnts weren’t yet on par with the Leng Family or the top families of Jingdu City, with rapid developnt shown by Top-Grade Heavenly Fragrance, Qin’s Security Company, and Heavenly dicine Group, her husband and father-in-law had ntioned that in no more than two years, they would surely surpass the leading noble houses.
“Yes!”
Receiving Qin Qin’s confirmation once more, Mother Leng took a sharp breath.
Old Lady Leng had not expected that Qin Qin, a girl of about eighteen, could be so impressive, possessing both exquisite dical skills and extraordinary ability.
Old Lady Leng, with a kind smile, “Haha, Qin Qin, you’re so remarkable. I’m truly fortunate. Old man, don’t you agree that I’m lucky?”
Old Master Leng concealed his surprise at Qin Qin and nodded to his wife, “Good!”
Old Lady Leng’s eyes revealed a smile upon receiving Old Master Leng’s response.
The group engaged in pleasant conversation, when the butler entered, followed by a man around fifty years of age, dressed in a Sun Yat-sen suit, a bit thin and bald, with an otherwise ordinary appearance. Beside the man in the Sun Yat-sen suit stood another man, approximately thirty years old.
“Master, Master Ying has arrived,” said the butler to Old Master Leng, who nodded in acknowledgent.
“Old Master Leng, how have you been lately?” With the butler gone, the man in the Sun Yat-sen suit greeted with a smile, to which Old Master Leng responded with a slight nod and a smile.
“Not too bad, and you, Master Ying?”
Master Ying laughed heartily and nodded, “Very well.”
“Please take a seat, Master Ying,” Mother Leng addressed Master Ying, her expression holding a hint of respect that sparked curiosity in Qin Qin, who was watching from the side.
The man in the Sun Yat-sen suit didn’t hesitate and took a seat across from Qin Qin on the sofa, clutching sothing square in his hand, resembling a compass, his deanor carrying an aura of mystery and arrogance.
Qin Qin looked over as Master Ying also glanced in her direction. Seeing that she was a stranger he didn’t recognize, he didn’t greet her but instead turned his gaze to Old Master Leng.
Old Lady Leng took Qin Qin’s hand and introduced her, “Qin Qin, this is Master Ying, a very skilled fortune teller.”
The Leng family had long placed trust in fortune-telling, believing that fortune tellers could help them attract luck and ward off misfortune. Master Ying had been a ‘benefactor’ to the Leng Family, aiding them many tis in averting disasters. Needless to say, the Leng Family had returned his services generously.
A fortune teller? Qin Qin’s gaze lingered on the so-called Master Ying a mont longer.
“Grandma Leng trusts him a lot?”
Qin Qin whispered to Old Lady Leng.
“At first, I didn’t, but after my son faced a crisis that Master Ying resolved, I started to believe,” she replied.
Qin Qin didn’t speak, but the corners of her mouth lifted ever so slightly.
Master Ying began to size up Old Master Leng and Old Lady Leng as soon as he sat down.
“The old master seems to be in good spirits recently. However, the old lady may soon face a blood disaster, so please take extra care,” Master Ying said, raising his head to look at the two with a tone filled with mystique and sighs.
The Leng family’s expressions changed upon hearing about the impending blood disaster for Old Lady Leng.
Old Lady Leng’s complexion also shifted visibly at Master Ying’s words.
Qin Qin, who had been sipping tea, paused at Master Ying’s statent and looked at him with light interest.
“Master Ying, do you have a solution?” asked Father Leng, while Mother Leng, sitting beside him, grew anxious.
Old Master Leng’s expression turned grave, clasping Old Lady Leng’s hand. She glanced back at him, “I won’t have any problems, Master Ying will surely have a solution.”
Master Ying looked down at the ‘life plate’ in his hands, then pinched his fingers together, his expression turning sowhat troubled.
Qin Qin set down her teacup, seemingly intrigued as she looked on.
