Mo Yuxin returned to Ming Lan’s house and stayed in the room, frustrated, lying on the bed.
"Jing Tianchen, you’re too much, too much."
In all her life, it was the first ti she was so ignored by soone. She even lowered her guard to pursue him, yet he was untouched.
Mo Yuxin didn’t sleep well all night. Until the next day, she hurried to Jing Tianchen’s house again.
When she arrived at Jing Tianchen’s house, she didn’t see him. She looked all over but couldn’t find him.
Could he be avoiding her?
Mo Yuxin felt a bit hurt and sat at the doorstep of Jing Tianchen’s house.
After a while, a woman walked over, standing not far away, looking at Mo Yuxin, "Are you looking for Jing Tianchen?"
Mo Yuxin raised her head to look at the woman and nodded, "Do you know where he went?"
"I know, he’s by the lakeside over there, seems like he’s fishing."
"Thank you."
As long as Jing Tianchen wasn’t avoiding her. Mo Yuxin ran grandly toward the direction the woman ntioned.
Jing Tianchen sat by the river, holding the fishing rod in his hands.
Many say that fishing can calm one’s mind, so he tried it too. But no matter what, he couldn’t stay calm, feeling restless instead.
Jing Tianchen threw the fishing rod onto the ground.
"Jing Tianchen, good that you’re here."
A man ran angrily over, ran to Jing Tianchen, and was about to punch him without a word.
"Ming Jiao likes you, but you insulted her, I’m going to teach you a lesson."
The man swung at Jing Tianchen, but Jing Tianchen picked up the fishing rod and hit the man’s hand. The man retracted his hand in pain.
"You still dare hit , what makes you worthy of Ming Jiao liking you."
Jing Tianchen stood up, looked coldly at the man, "I don’t want anyone to like ."
He turned decisively to leave, the man glared fiercely at Jing Tianchen, squinting his eyes, he squatted to pick up a stone from the ground and rushed toward Jing Tianchen.
"Jing Tianchen, you’re not worthy of Ming Jiao’s affection."
"Jing Tianchen, watch out."
Mo Yuxin ran towards Jing Tianchen, blocking behind him, the man’s face changed and he withdrew his hand, "Get lost."
The man pushed Mo Yuxin hard, causing her to fall sideways, directly into the riverbank, splashing water all around.
Jing Tianchen turned around, his face drastically changed, exuding an intimidating coldness, he forcefully kicked the man, who fell to the ground and spat out a mouthful of blood, looking flustered as he ran away.
Jing Tianchen ran to the riverbank, leaped into the river.
Mo Yuxin originally wanted to swim up herself, but seeing Jing Tianchen jump down, she smiled, letting go and allowing herself to sink into the river.
Seeing Mo Yuxin in that state, Jing Tianchen swam toward her with all his strength.
Through the water, Mo Yuxin looked at Jing Tianchen, knowing he was worried about her too.
Jing Tianchen embraced Mo Yuxin, and as they surfaced, she wrapped her arms around him, loudly saying, "Jing Tianchen, are you still saying you’re not worried about ?"
Jing Tianchen looked at Mo Yuxin, her makeup ran with the water, blurring her face.
His eyes were intently fixed on Mo Yuxin.
Mo Yuxin reached out to touch her face, "What’s wrong with ? Why are you staring at ?"
Suddenly she rembered she had makeup on, darkened her face a bit, thickened her eyebrows, appearing more ordinary.
Now, after falling into the river, her makeup must have smudged.
"I’m sorry, I didn’t an to deceive you."
Mo Yuxin’s stunning face revealed itself before Jing Tianchen.
"It’s none of my concern."
Jing Tianchen released Mo Yuxin; knowing she could swim, his worry had dissipated.
Seeing Jing Tianchen so cold, Mo Yuxin felt a sharp pain in her heart.
She swam to the shore, grabbing Jing Tianchen’s hand, "Jing Tianchen."
Jing Tianchen looked at Mo Yuxin, her beautiful and delicate face slightly anxious, "Jing Tianchen, you clearly worry about , care about , why do you avoid ?"
She needed clarity on why he acted this way?
"You misunderstood; I just didn’t want to see soone die without helping."
Jing Tianchen withdrew his hand, his expression cold.
Mo Yuxin stood heartbroken in place, drenched head to toe.
"If you weren’t worried, then why was your face tense?"
Mo Yuxin blocked Jing Tianchen, who didn’t glance at her, striding forward.
Mo Yuxin bit her lower lip, stepped forward, grabbed Jing Tianchen’s hand, and stood on tiptoes, her tender lips pressed against his.
"Jing Tianchen, I like you, I really like you."
She had never liked soone so much before, and in this short ti, she was surprised by how much she liked him. His rejection deeply hurt her, her heart ached.
