Chapter 85: Chapter 85 f??eewe??n??ve??

Winter paused for a mont. She forgot that the current Sebastian had no idea of what truly happened. So this was actually her first ti fixing Sebastian’s tie in this new life.

She looked up, staring at Sebastian who stared back at her with his big, innocent eyes. He was already twenty-seven, and he was a talented CEO, just like the old Sebastian who killed her.

But he was still innocent, at least for now.

Sebastian’s face began to blush as he slowly averted his gaze, "D-don’t look at

like that, wife. You’re making

shy."

Of course, Sebastian was lying the whole ti. He was the sa Sebastian from their previous lives who pushed her until she was at her wit’s ends and killed herself.

So he also experienced those days when Winter would fix his tie every single morning.

Yet, he still faked his innocence, acting as if he had no idea what he had done in the past, and this Sebastian that stood in front of Winter was a completely different person who hadn’t done anything to wrong her.

It was all fake, and the consequence of getting discovered ant that his life was done for.

But he was like a moth desperately clinging to the fire that burned him. He wanted to see Winter’s smile. He wanted to see her being relaxed around him and also wanted her to kiss him.

He wanted it all.

Winter’s lips thinned. She disliked how this man could act so sweet and sowhat boyish. This Sebastian didn’t know what he had done in the past, but that still didn’t stop her from feeling vengeful and resentful towards him.

"It seems that you’ve been quite comfortable, calling

wife this and wife that," Winter said sarcastically as she fixed his tie. "You should know your boundaries, Sebastian. I don’t do this because I like you or I want to play house with you. It’s because we are about to et a very important client, and I want you to do well."

"But you cook dinner for

every day, we even eat dinner together..." Sebastian said.

"That’s because I cook too much," Winter said, hiding the real truth that she didn’t want to eat alone.

Eating alone made her depressed, and eating out only worsened that depression. So she decided to just let Sebastian eat whatever leftover she had.

But it seed that Sebastian took it differently. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer before she took a step back. He hugged her tight and asked, "I thought we had sothing sweet going on."

Winter gritted her teeth, she began to hit Sebastian’s chest repeatedly to break herself free. But this man wasn’t affected no matter how hard she tried to punch his chest, "Let go, Sebastian."

"Just let

hug you for a while, wife. You don’t understand how much you an to ..."

"I said, let go."

Winter’s voice echoed inside Sebastian’s head, and he hugged her even tighter, "Can’t you pity

a little? Just let

embrace you, I won’t do anything, I swear."

Sebastian gently buried his face on her neck and sniffed her perfu, "You sll so good today, and the dress looks good on you. Wish I could see you with more colors other than black."

Winter didn’t respond at first, so Sebastian took it as the green light for him to do more. His finger slowly trailed on her back, feeling her milky smooth skin. He had been wanting to do this for years, and now that he got the chance, he couldn’t control himself.

In just a few seconds of caressing her waist, Sebastian was already fully erect.

Winter finally reacted when she realized there was a big stick poking her down there.

"Let go before I get really angry, Sebastian Saenz," Winter’s voice beca softer, but it was a lot colder than before.

He knew it was his limit, so he slowly let go of his wife despite his reluctance.

Sebastian covered his erection with his hands. He wasn’t ashad of it as his reaction was completely normal, but he didn’t want to make Winter angrier than this.

Winter took the chance to distance herself from this bastard who repeatedly addressed her as wife.

"I don’t understand, Winter. Why do you hate

so much? Did I ever do sothing wrong to you? We just got married and I’ve been trying my best every day to make you happy," Sebastian said pitifully. "I married you because I genuinely fell in love with you. If you hate , then why did you accept my proposal?"

Winter wanted to refute his statent imdiately. It was clear as day that Sebastian married her because of her assets. She was the most vulnerable after Aiden’s death, and he took advantage of it.

She wanted to curse him, but the pitiful lost puppy eyes he had made her feel complicated instead.

Would it be fair for the current Sebastian to get hated and scolded by her for wanting a completely normal physical touch between a husband and wife? He didn’t do anything wrong, at least not yet, so it would be so cruel to keep despising him.

’I need to wait until he makes a mistake, so I can unleash all my hatred towards him. It shouldn’t take long before I can do that, right?’

Winter might’ve been filled with an insane amount of hatred for Sebastian and Camilla, but she was still fair with her judgnt.

This Sebastian was innocent. He didn’t deserve to get hated, and not insulting him was the least she could do.

Thus, she replied, "I don’t feel that way, Sebastian. All I did for you is out of necessity, not love. I tolerate you, but that doesn’t an I love you."

"So why did you marry ..." Sebastian muttered. He lowered his head, trying his best to look pitiful. He would never do this in front of anyone, but in front of his wife, he would even bark right now and act like a dog if that ant she would forgive him. "Am I just a replacent?"
