Chapter 61: Striking Little Pepper’s Heart
When Tao Wei returned to the set, he saw Zhuang Heng losing his temper and throwing a fit.
He was standing in the crowd wearing a white singlet and a bald head, swaggering in front of others.
“I’m not going to shoot if Little Pepper isn’t around.”
If not for the fact that Zhuang Heng’s face was extrely suitable for the male lead, Tao Wei wouldn’t work with Zhuang Heng even if the latter knelt down to beg him!
Holding his anger back, Tao Wei handed the cup of iced water deferentially, “Zhuang Heng, Second Young Mistress Huo was looking for Jinyi, so Jinyi couldn’t possibly turn her down. After all, she’s the investor of our film!”
“Replace her then. She’s so ugly and revolting that she’s ruining my appetite.”
Zhuang Heng pointed at an actress who played a minor role and was sobbing at the side.

Tao Wei pinched his temples as he thought, ‘How did this weirdo co about!?’
‘Why do I have to flatter him and be at his beck and call!?’
‘Okay, it can’t be helped since he’s famous.’
Yan Jinyi heard their conversation clearly and walked towards them sulkily.
“Jinyi, you’re finally here. Zhuang Heng refused to film without you!”
Tao Wei’s eyes lit up, as if he had seen his saving grace.
‘Little Pepper is back!’
Zhuang Heng turned around gleefully to face Yan Jinyi. “Little Pepper, I missed you so much!”
‘What?’
Everyone on the set was astonished.
Zhuang Heng’s manager wished he could go over and knock him out.
‘The ‘Best Actor’ is flirting again. What do I do?’
‘Why is such a flirty and coquettish male actor liked by so many fans?’
Seeing that Yan Jinyi was ignoring him, Zhuang Heng pursed his lips and complained like a girl, “After you left , I had been worrying about your safety. Little Pepper, you’re not comforting at all!”‘
“I don’t want to comfort you at all. In fact, I want to beat you up.”
Yan Jinyi rolled her eyes.
Like a retard, Zhuang Heng pretended to be using a bow and arrow to shoot sothing at her. “It’s alright. I’m suave and dashing, I’d definitely be able to win your heart!”
He then acted like he was blowing the muzzle of a gun and exclaid, “I struck you! Little Pepper, are you shocked by my suaveness?”

Yan Jinyi smirked mirthlessly. “Silly, get lost!”
“Seems like Zhuang Heng is deeply in love with Yan Jinyi!”
The assistant shook her head.
The manager glared at him. “Is Zhuang Heng the type to genuinely like soone?”
“Doesn’t seem like it.”
The male lead of the film was based on Tsangyang Gyatso. [1. Tsangyang Gyatso was the 6th Dalai Lama. He was a Monpa by ethnicity and was born at Urgelling Monastery.]
The film was about the female lead Lin Conggui returning ho proudly with her underlings and picking up the seriously injured male lead, Cang Yang, on her way back to the village.
It was almost dusk, and the rays of sunset scattered through the dense forest, casting on the trail.
Yan Jinyi was making her way over from afar on a large maroon horse, with so Setaria viridis in her mouth.
The crew was shocked to see that.
It was beautiful!
Tao Wei hurriedly snapped a few photos and intended to use them as the promotional photos. “Okay, you can start filming!”
Yan Jinyi was a very talented actress. At least, she was fully imrsed in the role of Lin Conggui throughout the few scenes that she fild.
Lin Conggui was a bandit from a young age, beautiful yet unaware of it herself.
She was an expert in fighting, robbery, and flirting.
That was the vibe that Yan Jinyi gave off too!
“Boss, there is a monk lying there!”
Lin Conggui spat out the Setaria viridis in her mouth and instructed, “Go, strip him and see if there is anything valuable on him.”
Her underlings quickly turned the monk who was lying face flat on the ground over, and they were imdiately greeted with a handso face.
