Yao Xin gibed in a naive and innocent tone, “But, Sister Jinyi, you’re so impressive. You actually got to know so many big bosses. I heard that the n you drank with last night are senior executives of their respective companies!”
“What bosses?”
‘Go on pretending.’ Yao Xin secretly thought to herself as she was certain that Yan Jinyi knew about the scandalous news that had gone viral on the internet.
“Sister Jinyi, everyone has a different style of living and I think it’s really impressive that you have connections to the senior executives of big companies. Those netizens are just jealous of you because they lack the opportunity to get to know so many people. That’s why they’re hating on you.”
Only then did Yan Jinyi co to a sudden realization. “Oh, so that’s what you’re referring to.”
As she spoke, she folded an arm and rested her other arm on it while holding her chin in her hand. Sizing Yao Xin up carefully, Yan Jinyi said seriously, “I thought the person in those photos was you!”

Yao Xin’s manager stood up for her too. “Jinyi, we know you joined the company earlier than Yao Xin, but Yao Xin has always been a simple-minded girl since she was a child. You can’t bla her now that you’re in trouble.”

Yan Jinyi stretched her back and continued, “Did I say you could interrupt ? I do like bullying her just because I’m more senior than her, and I want to hit her too. What can you do about that?”
As Yan Jinyi spoke, she took a step forward and reached out without warning to slap Yao Xin on her face. “You’d better clear up the ss you created before I intervene. Otherwise, I’ll make sure I teach you a hard lesson.”
After saying that, she left without looking back.
Yao Xin covered her face with her hand and looked at Yan Jinyi’s back in disbelief. After Yan Jinyi entered the elevator, she stomped her feet in exasperation. “How dare that bitch Yan Jinyi lay a hand on ? Why didn’t you guys help at all?”
The manager and deputy director froze right on the spot, just as shocked as her. After a long ti, they finally returned to their senses.
“Yan Jinyi hits people all the ti.”
Besides, she would even have sufficient reasons to back her actions up.
