“Sister Liu Ran, you also saw how Yan Jinyi humiliated you. You are just too kind to let a newcor trample all over you and lead you by the nose.”
“Okay, stop it!” Liu Ran frowned, sternly scolded, and looked at Yan Jinyi with an apologetic expression on his face.
“Jinyi, I’m so sorry, she’s just very protective about , she doesn’t have any ill intentions.”
If it were anyone else, they would forgive Liu Ran since she had lowered her pride and apologized, even though her status in the entertainnt industry was now declining.
However, it was Yan Jinyi and not soone else. Not only did she not accept the apology, but she even went overboard!
“Get her to co here personally and apologize,” Yan Jinyi said coldly.
Liu Ran froze in shock before forcing a smile on her face. “Jinyi, just forget it on my account. I’ll apologize to you on my assistant’s behalf, okay?”
“On her account?” Yan Jinyi folded her arms and leaned back against her seat sluggishly while asking that rhetorical question with nonchalance.
“Yes, Jinyi, we still have to face each other often in the set. Xiao Jia is usually hot-tempered and she’s close to . I apologize on her behalf, I’m so sorry.”
“Are you fit?”
Yan Jinyi spoke in disdain.
Liu Ran’s smile froze. Thinking that there were still many people who were watching, she forced herself to maintain a gentle and kind image.
“Jinyi, I know there was so misunderstanding between us before but it’s getting late now and the crew still has to get to work. Xiao Jia is just blunt and straightforward. She doesn’t have any malicious intent.”
“That has nothing to do with , get her to scram here and apologize to . Otherwise, I’ll slap her.”

The people in the room felt that Yan Jinyi was being a bit too petty by making mountains out of molehills.
However, it was indeed true that the wrongdoer should be the one to apologize.
Chen Keyi was dealing with the other matters and as soon as he arrived at the set, he saw Yan Jinyi leaning against the chair like a king, with one leg crossed over the other.
Liu Ran was standing in front of her humbly.

Chen Keyi was followed by a chubby middle-aged man who was dressed in a suit and wearing a diamond watch on his wrist, which was extrely eye-catching.
Liu Ran imdiately wiped her tears and said with a tender smile, “Director Chen, you’re here. There’s a small misunderstanding between my assistant and Jinyi. Don’t worry, I’ll handle it well.”
“This is not a small misunderstanding,” Yan Jinyi suddenly said.
Chen Keyi hurriedly winked at her but Yan Jinyi just wanted to ignore her.
“Director Chen, Liu Ran’s assistant is very arrogant. She humiliated in front of everyone and ruined my mood, thus hindering us from filming properly. Director Chen, if this results in a loss, who’s going to be responsible?”
“You were clearly too…” Xiao Jia’s eyes turned red but Liu Ran glowered at her.
Yan Jinyi was the supporting actress of the film while Xiao Jia was only Liu Ran’s assistant. Besides, Yan Jinyi was indeed quite a good actress. Chen Keyi chose to stand by her without hesitation.
“Xiao Jia, apologize to Jinyi. Each and everyone should adhere to their own duties, don’t create trouble out of nowhere all day.” After saying that, Chen Keyi looked at the middle-aged man beside him subserviently. “Deputy Station Manager Zhao, sorry to have embarrassed ourselves. Actually, everyone in the crew usually get along well with each other.”
‘Deputy Station Manager Zhao?’
Yan Jinyi raised her brows.
Chen Keyi coughed and began to introduce, “This is the deputy director of the TV station. He has high hopes for our drama and he specifically ca here to visit us on set. What are all of you waiting for? Hurry up and get to work.”
‘So it’s the deputy station manager of the TV station.’
The rest of the cast was excited as they did not expect the deputy director to co over personally. In that case, they would have to perform well.
“You don’t have to be too formal. There haven’t been many good productions lately. I heard that Director Chen has started filming recently so I ca to take a look.”
