Matthew hung up the call.
He owed his life to Gu Xichi. However, he couldn’t release them just because of him.

Gu Xichi stared at his phone with a dazed expression. Jiang Dongye was observing a petri dish. He turned his head to look at him. “Are you okay?”
“No.” Gu Xichi shook his head. “What’s Xiao Ran’s relationship with Giant Crocodile?”
He lowered his head and looked for Cheng Juan’s number.
He trusted that Matthew wouldn’t ss with Qin Ran.
He had to inform Cheng Juan.
Gu Xichi had seen Matthew’s wanted list. Cheng Juan was one of them.
Jiang Dongye looked at him. Frowning, he said, “No wonder Beijing is so peaceful. We haven’t received any news.”
