anwhile sowhere deep in the forest, spread out were a myriad of thatched houses, villagers clad in flowing white and black fabric garnts bustled about, going about their daily routines. The air buzzed with the hum of activity as people tended to their chores, children played in the dusty streets, and the aroma of cooking wafted through the air.

However, inside one of the modest huts, a young woman sat alone, cocooned in her own world of anguish. She huddled in a fetal position, her body tense with distress, as she rocked back and forth with a rhythmic motion. Her jaws were clenched tightly, betraying the inner turmoil raging within her.

As the village humd with life outside, the tranquility within Nana's thatched house was briefly disrupted by the arrival of a large wolf dog nad Scar. The imposing creature padded into the humble abode with a purposeful stride, its golden eyes gleaming with curiosity.

However, before Scar could settle in, Nana, a stern elderly woman with a no-nonsense deanor, intercepted the canine intruder with a swift reprimand.

"Out, Scar! This is not the place for you," Nana scolded firmly, her voice carrying the weight of authority.

With a low whine, Scar reluctantly retreated, casting a longing glance back at the warmth of the hut before disappearing into the sunlight outside.

Just then, the towering figure of Kabib, a behemoth of a man with muscles rippling beneath his tanned skin, lood in the doorway. His stern expression mirrored Nana's disapproval as he surveyed the scene before him.

Inside the dimly lit thatched house, Kabib's voice bood with a mixture of frustration and concern as he confronted Nana about her lingering grief.

"Nana, why do you continue to mourn? That demon in the forest, I killed it with my own hands! I rescued you and brought you back to the village for cleansing," Kabib exclaid, his words laced with exasperation.

Nana, her expression a mask of sorrow and defiance, t Kabib's gaze with a steely resolve. "Blake wasn't a demon, Kabib. He wasn't one of them," she insisted, her voice trembling with emotion.

Kabib's eyes widened in shock at Nana's revelation. "How do you know the demon's na? What else do you know about it?" he demanded, his tone growing more urgent.

Refusing to be intimidated, Nana shook her head and moved towards the door, her every movent radiating determination. "I know enough, Kabib. And I won't be kept prisoner by fear any longer," she declared, her voice ringing with defiance.

Before she could take another step, Kabib reached out and grasped her hand, his grip firm and unyielding. "You're not going anywhere until I'm sure you're no longer bewitched by that demon's influence," he asserted, his eyes flashing with a mixture of concern and determination.

"Let go, Kabib! I won't be held captive here any longer," Nana demanded, her voice trembling with emotion.

Kabib, his expression hardened, shook his head resolutely. "I can't do that, Nana. From what I've seen, another cleansing ceremony is necessary," he replied, his voice firm and unwavering.

Nana's lips curled into a sneer of disdain as she spat out her response. "You're shaless, Kabib! I won't be subjected to your ridiculous rituals and made a spectacle in front of the entire village," she declared, her voice dripping with contempt.

Kabib's jaw tightened at Nana's words, but he remained steadfast. "This isn't about mockery, Nana. It's about ensuring your well-being and protecting the village from any demonic influence," he retorted, his tone stern.

But Nana refused to back down, her resolve unyielding. "I won't be humiliated for your confusion, Kabib," she declared defiantly, her eyes blazing with defiance.

"Tell , Kabib, does it not bother you? How they hurl insults at , strip of my clothes and dignity, and parade through the streets like so kind of spectacle? All in the na of your so-called cleansing?" Nana demanded, her voice laced with bitterness.

Kabib's expression remained stoic, his eyes betraying no hint of emotion. "It's not about offense, Nana. It's about purging the darkness that has taken hold of you," he replied, his voice firm and unwavering.

But Nana was undeterred, her resolve unwavering. "And what darkness is that, Kabib? The darkness of your own ignorance and superstition?" she shot back, her words laced with sarcasm.

Kabib's features hardened at her words, his jaw clenching with frustration. "Don't speak such blasphemy, Nana. This stubbornness, this defiance—it's not like you. The old Nana would never do this. The demon has twisted your mind," he retorted, his voice tinged with accusation.

Nana's eyes flashed with anger at his words, her fists clenched at her sides. "Maybe you never knew at all, Kabib. Maybe this is who I truly am," she declared, her voice resonating with conviction.

She took a step closer to him, her gaze unwavering. "Even the man you claim to be a demon understood better than you ever did," she added, her words cutting like a knife. "At least he saw as a person, not so vessel to be purged of imagined sins."

In a sudden surge of fury, Nana's words cut through the tense air like a blade. "You killed an innocent man, Kabib. His blood will haunt you," she spat, her voice filled with venom.

Kabib's expression darkened, his eyes flashing with rage as he lunged forward and seized Nana by the throat. With terrifying strength, he lifted her off the ground, his fingers tightening around her neck as she struggled for breath.

For a mont, Nana's vision swam, her world spinning as she fought against the vice-like grip. Then, with a violent shove, Kabib slamd her back against the rough wall, causing stars to dance before her eyes.

Gasping for air, Nana glared up at him, her chest heaving with exertion. Kabib's crazed gaze bore into hers, searching for sothing within her depths.

Suddenly, as if coming to a realization, Kabib released his hold on her, allowing her to crumple to the ground at his feet. With a contemptuous sneer, he spat on her prone form before uttering a derisive epithet.

"I see now what the problem is, Nana. You're not possessed by the demon. You're nothing but a harlot," he snarled, his voice dripping with disgust.

With one final glance of contempt, Kabib turned on his heel and strode out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him and leaving Nana alone in the suffocating darkness.

Nana's body convulsed with the effort to breathe, her chest heaving as she coughed up blood, the tallic taste staining her lips. Tears stread down her cheeks as she struggled to speak through her ragged breaths.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry, Blake. You died because of . I should have known!" Nana's voice cracked with anguish as she cried out into the empty room, her words echoing off the walls.

Outside, Kabib paced back and forth, his fists clenched in impotent rage. With a growl of frustration, he reached down and seized Scar, the massive wolf dog, by the collar, his grip tight and commanding.

"Co, Scar," Kabib muttered, his voice low and guttural. "We're going on a hunt."

Kabib's voice echoed with determination as he spoke to Scar, the wolf dog by his side. "I went back three days earlier, Scar. That oak tree... the demon, it's gone. But I'll find him. I'll make him undo what he did to my Nana."

With a heavy mace-like weapon slung over his shoulder, Kabib stord off into the wilderness, his rage simring just beneath the surface as he sought release in the hunt.
