As Blake retraced his steps back to the spot where he had encountered the mysterious woman, his mind buzzed with anticipation and curiosity. The mory of their brief but intense interaction lingered in his thoughts, urging him forward in his quest for answers.

Navigating through the dense foliage, Blake's senses heightened, attuned to the subtle sounds of the forest around him. The gentle murmur of a stream caught his ear, drawing him closer with each step.

Finally, he erged into a small clearing bathed in dappled sunlight, the tranquil surface of a babbling stream cutting through the lush undergrowth. It was the sa spot where he had encountered the enigmatic woman just the day before.

As Blake approached the stream, he couldn't shake the feeling of déjà vu that washed over him. The scene before him seed unchanged, frozen in ti like a snapshot from his mory.

He cast his gaze around the clearing, searching for any sign of the woman's presence. The air was still, the only movent coming from the gentle sway of the foliage in the breeze.

With a furrowed brow, Blake scanned the area, his senses on high alert. He called out tentatively, his voice echoing faintly through the quiet forest.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" he called, his words dissipating into the stillness of the surroundings. But there was no response, only the soft gurgle of the stream as it andered along its course.

Disappointed yet undeterred, Blake settled himself on the mossy bank of the stream, his eyes scanning the surrounding trees for any sign of movent. He was determined to wait, to see if the mysterious woman would appear once more and offer him the answers he sought.

As the gentle sounds of the forest enveloped him, Blake felt himself gradually succumbing to the soothing embrace of sleep. The warmth of the sun filtering through the canopy above lulled him into a state of peaceful relaxation, his eyelids growing heavy as he drifted off into slumber.

But his rest was short-lived, interrupted by the persistent buzz of a pesky fly buzzing around his head. Groaning in annoyance, Blake swatted at the insect, finally managing to squash it between his palms.

Just as he began to settle back into a state of drowsy tranquility, a voice shattered the tense silence, startling him awake.

"You sleep wherever you want? With how long you've been sleeping, an animal could have co over, prepared soup and still have ti to add you into it," The sa woman he had t before appeared before his sight, her presence both unexpected and unwelco.

Embarrassed at being caught in such a vulnerable state, Blake quickly scrambled to his feet, denying any wrongdoing. "Uh...no, just err.. ditating. Trying to find my inner chi, you know," he stamred, attempting to salvage so semblance of dignity.

"Hmmm. So did you find it?" she asked, her tone laced with skepticism, almost intrigued by his feeble attempt at deception.

"Yes, it's quite refined," Blake replied, his tone earnest yet tinged with a hint of defensiveness.

"Must be why you rejoiced, snoring loudly, yes?" she quipped, imdiately bursting into a fit of laughter. Her laughter rung out through the clearing.

Blake flushed with embarrassnt, realizing that his attempt at deception had fallen flat. He couldn't deny the truth any longer.

"Fine, I was sleeping. Have you been watching?" he asked, his tone accusatory as he t her gaze.

"You an, watching you sleep? No, of course not. I'd do much better with my ti," she replied, rolling her eyes in exasperation.

Clearly, she was offended that Blake would dignify himself to the point of thinking that the sight of him sleeping was one so rare and exceptional that she had to stop all she was doing and watch

"So, what were you doing around the stream then?" Blake inquired, curiosity piqued as he gestured towards the tranquil water. Since she said she hadn't been watching her, she had clearly been around and most likely busy with sothing.

The woman simply shrugged, pointing to the woven basket at her side. "Picking nuts," she replied tersely, her gaze flickering towards the forest beyond.

As Blake peered into the basket, expecting to see a bounty of nuts, he was t with emptiness. "Are nuts supposed to be invisible or am I going nuts?" he muttered under his breath, confusion clouding his features.

Rolling her eyes once more, the woman sighed in exasperation, her patience wearing thin. Without another word, she turned on her heel and began to distance herself from Blake, her steps purposeful as she made her way up a rocky outcrop with the agility of a seasoned climber.

"Wait, where are you going?" Blake called after her, his curiosity still not sated.

"Ho, you should too. It's getting dark. I don't want your mistress to co looking for you again," she retorted, her voice tinged with a note of warning.

But Blake paid little heed to her words, his determination driving him to follow her, eager to uncover the secrets she held within the depths of the forest.

As Blake attempted to scale the rugged terrain, he found himself struggling against the jagged rocks and uneven footholds. Each step was a battle against gravity, and his progress was slow and laborious.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of exertion, he reached the summit, only to find the woman waiting for him, her expression a mixture of pity and disgust.

"You took your ti," she remarked, her tone laced with impatience as she regarded him with thinly veiled disdain.

Blake felt a flush of embarrassnt creep up his neck, acutely aware of his own shortcomings compared to her effortless grace. Clearing his throat awkwardly, he attempted to mask his discomfort with a forced smile.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Not exactly a seasoned climber," he admitted sheepishly, hoping to defuse the tension between them.

As the woman turned to walk away once more, Blake felt a surge of determination welling up within him. He couldn't let her leave without getting so answers, without understanding the animosity she harbored towards Elena.

"Wait," he called out, his voice tinged with urgency as he stepped in front of her, blocking her path.

She halted, her eyes narrowing as she regarded him with a mix of annoyance and curiosity. "What do you want now?" she demanded, her tone sharp and clipped.

"Why do you hate Elena?" Blake blurted out, his words rushed and earnest as he searched her face for any hint of a response.

The woman's expression hardened, her features tightening with pent-up frustration. "That's none of your business," she snapped, attempting to sidestep him and continue on her way.

But Blake refused to budge, his resolve unwavering as he stood his ground. "It is my business," he insisted, his voice firm as he t her gaze head-on. "If you have a problem with Elena, I deserve to know why."

There was a flicker of hesitation in the woman's eyes, a montary lapse in her steely deanor. For a brief instant, it seed as though she might relent, might offer him the answers he sought.

But then, just as quickly as it had appeared, the vulnerability vanished, replaced once more by a mask of cold indifference. "You don't know anything about her," she retorted, her voice tinged with bitterness. "And you don't know anything about ."

Feeling a surge of determination, Blake squared his shoulders and t the woman's gaze with unwavering resolve. "Then educate ," he implored, his voice tinged with earnestness as he took a step closer to her. "Help understand why you hate Elena so much."

The woman sighed heavily, her features softening slightly as she regarded him with a mixture of resignation and reluctance. After a mont of contemplation, she nodded curtly and gestured for him to follow her.

"Fine," she conceded, her tone tinged with resignation as she began to make her way down the rocky slope. "But if you really want to know, you'll have to keep up."

With that, she set off at a brisk pace, her movents fluid and sure-footed as she navigated the treacherous terrain with ease. Blake hurried to keep pace with her, his mind racing with anticipation at the prospect of finally uncovering the truth behind the woman's animosity towards Elena.
