She hugged my neck and started kissing softly.
Having had an hour of kissing experience the day before, she was much more skilled this ti.
Although we occasionally bumped teeth, it was much better than before.
I was lost in Mary’s sweet fragrance, almost forgetting myself, when a voice interrupted, "What are you two doing?"
In that instant, I pushed Mary away.
Mary also stood up. We had an agreent not to let Edward know about our relationship for now.
I looked toward the door, and who else could it be but Lillian?
She looked at us in shock, holding a portion of abalone porridge.
Suddenly, I felt like I was caught cheating.
Damn, I was being intimate with my legitimate girlfriend, but why were you so shocked?
Mary also reacted and asked, "William, who is she?"
I nervously said, "Mary, let introduce you. This is Lillian, a friend’s sister!"
As soon as I said that, Mary’s expression changed. "A friend’s sister? Why is she here? And how did she know you were in the hospital before !"
Damn, she misunderstood .
Just as I was about to explain, Lillian spoke up. "You must be William’s girlfriend, right? I’m Lillian. Nice to et you!"
She smiled and even extended her hand.
Mary also reached out. "I’m Mary, William’s girlfriend!"
Their eyes t in the air as if they were about to fight any second.
I pulled Mary over and explained, "Don’t jump to conclusions. Here’s what happened..."
After hearing out, Mary looked scared and worried. "How can you be so brave? What if the robbers had guns? What if I never saw you again?"
"I’m fine!" I scratched my head. "And at the ti, the situation was dangerous. I couldn’t call the police in ti, and I was afraid you’d worry, so I didn’t tell you."
She glared at . "Next ti, don’t hide things from , and don’t be reckless!"
"I won’t hide anything from you, but if sothing like this happens again, I can’t promise I won’t act. You know, I have a warm heart."
She should grasp my intent. After all, she was also the one I saved.
She scoffed and then turned to Lillian, saying, "Lillian, thank you for looking after William. You’ve been diligent. But now that I’m here, let take care of him so your family doesn’t worry!"
Wasn’t that akin to a rallying cry before a fight?
"It’s fine. Taking care of William is the right thing to do. If not for , he wouldn’t have gotten hurt."
Lillian smiled, indicating her commitnt to continue caring for .
"My parents fully support my decision to take care of William, so there’s no need for concern," she added.
Mary also smiled. "Your parents are really open-minded. But now that I’m here, please let take care of him. It’s a bit improper for an unmarried girl like you to take care of a grown man."
Damn, the principal girlfriend was speaking up.
I knew there truly was nothing between and Lillian, so why were they targeting each other?
Sa-sex relationships were natural enemies, and to make matters worse, they were both perfect examples of such.
Yet, at this mont, I needed to support Mary.
I cleared my throat and said, "Lillian, it’s just a minor injury. It’s okay, and as a grown man, there are indeed so inconveniences."
Lillian said, "It’s just that it’s inconvenient to go to the bathroom. Last night, I even did..."
"Lillian!"
I interrupted sharply. Could she really say that? Lillian seed to realize her slip-up, her pretty face blushing. Mary was not a fool. How could she not understand? The smile on her face faded.
"Lillian, I’m much better now. I can handle things on my own. You can drop by during the day."
Upon hearing my words, Mary’s expression softened.
Seeing my slight embarrassnt, Lillian said, "Alright then!"
Relieved, I said, "Mary, you don’t need to co either. Just co visit during the day!"
I winked at her. She should get the hint.
If she kept checking up on every day, Edward would definitely notice.
Mary frowned. "Then I’ll hire a caregiver."
"Don’t worry. It’s just a minor injury, not like I’ve lost a limb. It’s not that serious."
I waved my hand and said, "I’m not that fragile. You all take such good care of and make feel like I have so incurable disease."
Lillian couldn’t help but cover her mouth and chuckle. She looked stunning when she laughed. Her chest trembled. I always felt like it was about to pop out the next second.
Just then, a voice call popped up, and I reached for my phone!
Damn!
Kristina!
Why was she calling now?
I realized it must be because I had been too busy these days and hadn’t contacted her.
After kissing and touching her all over, neglecting her for so long would definitely make look like a jerk.
But it was really inconvenient to answer the phone right now.
If Kristina had said sothing intimate, Mary would have been right there.
"Why aren’t you picking up?" Mary asked.
"Oh, it’s probably my landlord reminding to pay the rent."
I rubbed my nose. In the end, I didn’t answer. I turned off my phone.
"Let’s talk later. I’m feeling a bit dizzy now."
I feigned discomfort on purpose, and Mary didn’t press further but anxiously said, "Quick, lie down."
Lillian also ca over and obediently placed a cushion behind my back.
Being cared for by two beautiful won, I felt secretly pleased.
"You must be hungry." Lillian opened the box of porridge, sat on the edge of the bed, scooped a spoonful, and blew gently on it near my mouth. "Here, William, I got this abalone porridge specially for you, all the way from Australia."
The abalone porridge she bought was full of abalone but with very little porridge, a true abalone porridge.
Such a generous portion must be very nutritious.
Mary smiled. "Lillian, let do it."
Lillian shook her head with a smile. "It’s okay. I’ll do it!"
As she spoke, she handed the spoon. I was in a dilemma. Should I open my mouth or not?
Helplessly, I took a bite, then said, "Lillian, I can manage myself."
Ignoring everything, I brought the porridge over and started to eat directly.
Damn, the good fortune of having two won serving wasn’t that easy to enjoy.
It was all because I spoke too soon. Why did I have to tell Mary? It would’ve been so great to just enjoy the service of a young lady alone.
After finishing the porridge, a comforting warmth spread through my stomach. The effect was imdiate, making the blanket rise into a small hill.
The atmosphere in the ward was a bit awkward. Even if I could talk, I wouldn’t know how to break the ice.
As the sun began to set, noticing the late hour, I said, "Lillian, you’ve done so much today. Go back and rest early."
Feeling uneasy, I had to send her away first, then properly comfort Mary.
"Just hold on. My dad and Edward will be here soon," Lillian said.
This was awkward.
I couldn’t just tell them not to co over, could I?
But perhaps this was a good opportunity.
I nodded and turned to the sowhat gloomy Mary. "Mary, is Edward coming?"
"He should be here soon," Mary replied.
As soon as she finished speaking, footsteps could be heard outside, followed by the door opening. Gary and his son walked in and said, "William, we’ve co to see you again."
The voice arrived before the person. "You’ve got a friend coming to see you!"
"Yes!"
I nodded with a smile. I shouldn’t have disclosed our relationship to Lillian earlier, but with us being caught red-handed, denying it was useless.
Yet, there was no need to ntion the others.
