"Thank you, Tatiana!"

"So, do you have any other questions?"

Realizing she was basically dismissing , I quickly said my goodbyes and took my leave.

As I exited the office, the heavy weight in my heart finally lifted, and the issue of the commission was ultimately sorted out.

Unconsciously, I found myself standing at Tatiana’s office door.

I hesitated, unsure whether to enter.

Jessica and Linda were untrustworthy. If George hadn’t been reliable, I would have been in trouble during yesterday’s morning eting.

Tatiana, the mistress, was a tough cookie to handle.

But, by a stroke of luck, I had acquired so incriminating information about her, giving the upper hand. After considering it, I knocked on Tatiana’s office door.

"Co in."

I pushed the door and stepped inside. Compared to Linda, Tatiana dressed more youthfully, especially with her captivating eyes.

"Tatiana!" I greeted quickly.

"Did you just visit Linda’s office?" she asked.

"Yes. After all, Linda is the head of the marketing departnt," I said with a smile.

"Why didn’t you co to for justice in this matter? Have you forgotten what I said before?" Tatiana said.

She was quite sothing, asking in a probing manner that didn’t provoke anger but rather made one feel inadequate.

With a somber expression, I replied, "Tatiana, the situation was extrely urgent, and I didn’t consider it imdiately."

"It seems like my influence as a VP doesn’t hold much weight in your eyes."

"Not at all. It’s just that having you handle such a minor issue feels like using a sledgehamr to crack a nut."

"You certainly know how to sweet talk."

Tatiana finally said, "Take a seat."

"Thank you, Tatiana."

"I thought you wouldn’t co."

"How could I not!"

I quickly said, "I always heed my superiors."

Tatiana said, "Really? That’s good."

She added, "I’m planning to establish a new departnt and urgently need assistance. Would you be interested?"

"What departnt?"

"The business developnt departnt."

"What?"

"Isn’t that just the marketing departnt?"

I was taken aback. Was she really about to target the marketing departnt? Managing the project departnt wasn’t enough. Now she wanted to encroach on Linda’s territory as well.

If I really went over, Linda might tear apart.

Damn, I knew no good would co of this. In the end, they just wanted to use as a pawn.

This ti, I won’t be fooled again.

"Tatiana, I’m actually doing quite well in the marketing departnt right now, so I don’t have any..."

"Before you rush to refuse, hear out," Tatiana said, "I know you’re puzzled, thinking that the business developnt departnt is just the marketing departnt under a different na. You’re not entirely wrong in your assumption. But let clarify. My departnt handles more than just projects. We’re not just serving Sevan. Our services extend nationwide. With sufficient resources, we can establish our own trading platform. Simultaneously, we will provide consulting services to these corporate groups and facilitate the transfer of senior talent."

I realized that this departnt was not just about decentralization. It was also designed to further increase the company’s profit points.

For instance, bulk trading platforms, corporate consulting, and talent transport were all services typically provided by headhunting firms.

But it had to be said, she had great ambition and a far-reaching vision.

Once she succeeded, the existence of the marketing departnt would beco awkward, and Linda’s power would be significantly diminished.

Furthermore, it would strike at the core of her power.

In fact, the project departnt was essentially reliant on the marketing departnt. Without the marketing departnt generating projects, how could they make money?

No wonder Tatiana was resorting to such drastic asures.

"Moreover, the bonuses will increase, significantly surpassing what the marketing departnt currently offers," Tatiana added.

This approach was even more ruthless.

"For instance, in the new departnt, if Paul had held a deal worth several hundred thousand dollars, his commission would have received twenty thousand. However, with my plan, he could have earned twenty-five thousand or even up to thirty thousand. He would have given the deal."

Anyone would do the sa. The pursuit of profit was natural. The marketing departnt’s performance would definitely decline, while the new departnt’s performance would inevitably soar.

But I thought Linda would not let her succeed so easily. The power struggles at the top level were not sothing I could engage in right now.

I knew that despite my achievents, ddling in the company’s upper managent affairs would only lead to my downfall.

"Tatiana, isn’t it a bit premature to discuss these things now?"

I neither agreed nor refused.

Tatiana smiled. "Indeed, we are still in the preparation stage. It may take one to two months, and we may face many setbacks."

She added, "However, once the new departnt is established, I hope talented guys like you will join us."

I was intrigued. If Tatiana could really overco all obstacles and establish the new departnt, why not join?

Under Jessica’s leadership, it was hard to stand out.

"Alright, Tatiana, since you insist, I will definitely join. I’m willing to be a foot soldier."

I said half-probing and half-joking.

"A foot soldier? No, no, William, you are too modest. If you join, I will make you a director!"

"What?"

"Make a director?"

I admitted I was tempted.

"Tatiana, you must be joking. How could I possibly be a director?"

"No, I’m serious. I have high hopes for you."

Tatiana said, "I brought up Marquesa Vines company to you a few days ago, and you handled it swiftly. That’s your strength. Those who excel naturally ascend to director positions. Don’t hesitate. If you join, the director’s role is yours, either as the head or the deputy."

"Of course, this is all hypothetical for now. If you really aim to move up in the next one or two, ensure your exceptional performance. When the ti cos,

I’ll push for your promotion, and no one will stand in your way."
