Smaller bosses were to be respected, but the larger bosses demanded groveling. As they entered, Ms. White imdiately scolded, "Who allowed you in?"

"I’m here to pack up!" Tony responded confidently, no longer concerned about her, particularly after their previous confrontation.

Ms. White wanted to say sothing more, but when she saw Marc, she exclaid, "Oh, Mr. Jones, what brings you here?"

Just then, Mr. Morales appeared from his office. His expression darkened upon seeing us, but when he noticed Marc, his face lit up. "Mr. Jones, what brings you here?"

With a bright smile, Marc replied, "I’m here to express my gratitude."

Mr. Morales replied, "No need to thank . We’re neighbors; it’s all about having each other’s backs."

Then he turned to us and said, "You two scamrs, get out of here right now."

Marc’s expression shifted. "Mr. Morales, please don’t say that. Mr. Maine just brought us a multi-million dollar deal! And Tony, who is now part of our team, I am sincerely thankful to you for introducing us to such a skilled mber!" He shook Mr. Morales’s hand, filled with gratitude. "I’ll be hosting tonight, Mr. Morales. Would you do the honor of joining us?"

Mr. Morales looked bewildered. "What did you say? He just brought you a multi-million dollar deal?"

Not just him, Ms. White and the other employees were also stunned.

"Yes, we just signed the contract!" Marc nodded with a smile.

I thought to myself, "This guy is quite cunning, but I like it!"

"Mr. Jones, are you being misled? That contract is likely counterfeit!" Ms. White couldn’t help but say.

Mr. Morales also realized, "Mr. Jones, yeah, you must not be deceived."

Marc smiled. "Don’t worry, it’s real, and I am certain that this contract is genuine."

Mr. Morales’s face turned extrely grim; he turned to Ms. White, who also looked uneasy.

Tony packed his things and said, "Ms. White, thank you for taking care of these days. In the future, I will definitely create more big deals for FF dia!"

After speaking, he put on his backpack, saying, "William, let’s go!"

I inquired, "You’re foregoing your salary?"

"Of course not. It was their choice to terminate my employnt. If they dare to withhold any paynt, we will et in court."

Marc also said, "Mr. Morales, let’s talk later."

As we exited the company’s door, we heard a shout from behind, "Tell , what on earth is happening?" I chuckled. People are often deceived by their own perceptions; sotis, what you see may not be the truth.

"I’ll trouble you to take care of the project," I said to Marc.

"Don’t worry, I will definitely satisfy you," Marc replied.

"Tony, I’m leaving first, call if you need anything." I patted his shoulder. "Learn from the experienced ones."

I whispered a few words in his ear, and he nodded. "Don’t worry, I get it." Leaving the VT Building, I let out a sigh of relief. "Finally sorted," I thought to myself. Ten million dollars, forty percent profit, split evenly—that’s two million dollars each. Damn, it was making more than the six million bill I signed in Skylight.

Being a boss really made a damn lot of money. "I want to be a boss too!"

This project lasted about a month and brought in a monthly inco of two million. In the past, I wouldn’t have even thought about it.

However, this collaborative negotiation didn’t go perfectly this ti, mainly because I lacked my own business entity. As Frank had ntioned, even a shell company would suffice. The idea of hiring two female assistants was quite thrilling to .

I called Lily, telling her I was dealing with Marquesa Vines company, and she didn’t say much. Having a deal is just that aweso. Renting a space in the VT Building was certainly not economical; even a small single room would cost between seven to eight thousand dollars per month, including property fees. However, if the location was too far away, it would not be convenient either.

Next to the Skylight company was a building called the B5 Building, which had approximately thirty floors. This building was mainly occupied by agencies and small companies, and most importantly, it offered more affordable rates.

I went to the B5 Building, approached the property managent directly to view the place, and found a suitable location on the 20th floor. It was 900 square feet with rent and property fees totaling around six thousand a month. I signed a year-long contract on the spot, paying the fees for the first quarter upfront, and just like that, twenty-four thousand dollars disappeared. The place used to be a loan office, so the decoration was quite nice, with the boss’s office spanning over 300 square feet!

I had the property managent send people over to clean up, costing one thousand, and then found a scalper to handle the license, which set back three thousand. I was told the license could be obtained within three days.

The company was nad MY dia Company.

Then it was about getting office desk supplies. I went to the second-hand market again. Since it was a shell company, there was no need to buy brand new; second-hand was fine. After a successful shopping spree where I spent around six to seven thousand dollars and acquired all the necessary equipnt, I felt incredibly satisfied as the workers organized everything. It never crossed my mind that one day I would be able to start my own company.

While the dance training class was aningful, this venture truly felt like my own business. I returned to the computer market, purchased ten used PCs for a total of nine thousand dollars, and didn’t have ti to set up the broadband, leaving that task for the next day.

Looking at the ti, it was already five in the afternoon, with just half an hour left before closing ti. Back at Skylight, I was exhausted and gulped down so water to recover.

Grace ca over and asked, "Where did you go this afternoon?"
