Ch: 40 [Undying Ninjas]
"Wow, shiny," Harley said while examining the sword.
"Be careful, and don't you think of swinging it in the car," I said.
The road is empty. I am driving as fast as possible. I just wanted a worry-free life, and yet... Damn it!

[Bang!] [Bang!] Sound of gunshots! I am almost there. It must be the Shield agents. Jenny, please be safe. I stopped the car a few ters away from my house.
The agents are fighting the ninjas. They are dressed similarly to the ones who attacked . But the way they are dodging the lethal bullets. They are faster than the bastard who fought . Moreover, their weapons are all made of adamantium. My senses are telling
they are more powerful than the one Harley slaughtered.
But the Shield agents are holding their ground.
Where is Jenny? I must find her. They want ... So revealing myself should pull their attention away from Jenny. The agents can protect the house while I kill them.
Where the fuck are those heroes? I hate those selfish bastards.
"Puddin' you look angry..." said Harley with a worried expression. I can see her facial expressions because she wore less makeup today. At least she looks stable for now.
"Yeah. Very angry. You want to do sothing fun?" I looked toward Harley.
"...Like killing nd' smashin'?" Harley's eyes lit up upon hearing my words. Well, she looks excited.
"Yeah. Killing and smashing. You see those ninjas jumping around? We are gonna smash them and make slushies out of them. But leave those agents alone," I said as I got out of the car with the sword.
"Yaay! I love slushy... The bloody mary is my favorite," said Harley as she jumped out of the car, "Oh, Puddin', Can I use your sword? Pretty please..."
I almost forgot. Harley left her machine gun in that truck, "Here. Just don't get hurt." I gave her the sword, "...and wait for my signal."
Now, ti to kill so ninja ass...
I tapped into Dracul's speed and appeared beside one of the agents behind the laser barricade. He got surprised and almost shot .
"Where is my sister?" I asked after swiping his gun out of his hand.
"You... Alex!? She is inside the house," answered the agent.
I rember him. He was with Fury the first ti I t him. I give his gun back, "She isn't hurt, is she?" I inquired.
"No. We arrived just in ti," answered the agent.
"I will divert their attention. anwhile, you guys get my sister out of this ss. Can you do that?" I inquired.
"You alone? Those bastards got a nullifier among them. We can't even use our powers. We just need to hold them long enough for the backup," replied the agent. He peeks out and shoots a couple of shots before ducking down.
Nullifier, the bane of all powers. It's an extrely rare ability that works like passive skills. Anyone near them won't be able to use their power. It doesn't matter if they are awakened, mutant, or superpower. In their presence, everyone will sit duck like regular humans.
However, there is a drawback. The nullifier ability holder can't control their power. Thus, they have no way to prevent it from affecting their teammates. In short, everyone within a specific area will be affected, no matter if they are enemies or allies.
However, my power is still working. I can see the red aura around my body. Dracul is still active. I can do it. I can't wait for those heroes to show up after everyone's death.
I grabbed that agent's throat and slamd him on the ground. I don't have ti for this. "Listen to . I will divert their attention. Tell your agents to focus on defending and get my sister out of this fucking place. You got it? Or I will just kill you along with them," I yelled.
"Y-you can still use your power? Ok," the agent said.
I let him go, "Give
a gun and go..."
The agent gave
his gun and shook his head. He called the other agents over the ergency line and told them the plan. So of the agents started to draw back toward the house. While the others are moving toward the right to clear up an escape route.
I looked toward Harley and shook my head. Luckily she is still waiting for my signal. Well, that's sothing new. At least she is listening to .
Ti to go...
I used Q&Q on the gun. Now I have two enhanced guns. I rushed out. My Weaponmaster ability is still active. I know what weapons they are using. But there are too many of them. Well... Doesn't matter. None of them is going to leave alive today.
[Bang!] [Bang!] I shoot. Two died instantly from a double headshot. Just like a sword, I know how to use a gun. That's news to ... But this is good.
"Team Beta failed. The target is here. Capture him at all costs before she arrives," yelled soone.
Again... They want to capture . Not kill ...
Four tal shurikens flew toward my legs. But they are slow. I dodged them and continued to shoot one after another. The tal shards flew toward
from above. I jumped back, barely dodging them. Within that instance, another shard passed by my left shoulder, barely missing .
I looked up... What the hell? The ninjas are walking in the air! No... Strings... They laid out tal strings like spider webs. They were running over them and throwing a hail of projectiles.
[Clank!] [Clank!] I keep on dodging and shooting. But they just keep coming like zombie hoards. The ones who just got their head splattered started to get up and attack.
What in the freaking hell am I dealing with here? Immortals? They just don't die.
Harley sneaked up on the rooftop of my neighbor's building. I don't know if they are alive or not. She then jumped from the roof and landed on the tal strings, "Tehehehe... One for Puddin', another one for Puddin', and another one for ..."
Harley is running on the tal string like a pro. And she is slashing the ninjas like a waterlon, creating a rain of blood.
"Kill her..." yelled one of the ninjas.
On the other side, the agents successfully escorted Jenny out. The other agents arrived with backup in ti.
"Harley," I yelled, "Let's go..."
We have to get out of here. They are immortal freaks... I will let the agents deal with them since the backup is already here.
Harley jumped down, "Catch..."
"Got you," I caught her in my arms.
Wow! I dodged the oncoming shurikens and used my super speed to go to one of the agent's cars with Harley in my arms. Man, she is enjoying this situation...
"Get in..." I said. Harley jumped down from my arms and went inside the car.
"Brother!!!" Jenny yelled. Her eyes are red. She is crying.
Those bastards... Those bastards... How dare they make my Jenny cry???
"You," I pointed my finger toward the agent I t earlier, taking her to safety, "It's ti to bring in the heat..."
"Eternal Void... You bastards will pay with your life..."
