Going All Out

"Those of you carrying Legend Sword Shards, co forward if you wish to live." When these words dropped, the whole place suddenly fell silent.

'Legend Sword Shards?' Christopher was slightly confused at the term. He assud that the Voidwalkers wanted sothing, and he was right. But he had no idea as to what that thing was.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Paul's face tighten ever so slightly while Sylvaris frowned.

'Must be pretty important. Must be the Shards of so Divine weapon. Or sothing like that.' He analysed and continued to look around quietly.

It was eerie how silent everyone had beco. Just a mont ago, there were all sorts of exclamations coming from each party. However, the instant the sword Shards were ntioned, everyone shut their mouths. Almost as if by agreent.

Seeing this, the Voidwalker taking the lead spoke again.

"I won't say it again. If you want to live, those of you harboring the Legend Sword Shards should co forward. Or else we'll take them off your corpses." He sounded slightly annoyed, but even then, no one spoke.

In fact, Gideon began to see traces of grim determination in their eyes, causing him to frown.

'The hell? It's clear everyone here knows what he's talking about. But those gazes, they'd actually rather die than talk? Just how important are these Shards?'Christopher thought with confusion.

While the different powers didn't seem to have a bad relationship with each other save for a few races, he didn't think there would be sothing capable of making all of them stand together. There was definitely sothing he was missing.

"Drear." Sylvaris suddenly whispered.

"What's your plan? Now would be a good ti to implent it." Hearing this, Paul looked on with confusion while Aisha's eyes lit up.

Christopher looked back up at the group of Voidwalkers and nodded.

Despite not being able to use Mana, his Runic Insight still applied. He could see that the runes making up the bodies of the Voidwalkers were still vibrant, aning they could use Mana without any issue. But beyond that, there was a strange film covering their bodies.

And then for those who had the strange cubes in their bodies, Christopher realised they were the ones that were preventing the use of Mana in the place enclosed by this barrier.

'Interesting. If those cubes are able to remove the runes and Mana in a certain place, that ans they aren't items under the jurisdiction of Creation since runes are what make up the world. That's… definitely unsettling.' Christopher thought before looking at Sylvaris and her daughter and then at Paul.

"You guys should get behind ." He said softly and the mother daughter duo obeyed without hesitation while Paul lingered for a mont before nodding.

"You guys will protect everyone else here. Alright?" Christopher said to the rest of his cohort who nodded calmly.

Then he let out a breath and straightened before walking forward.

Yes, the surrounding Mana including the one in his body had been removed, however, Christopher still had his connection to his Dinsion which was filled to the brim with runes and Mana that were tens of thousands of tis more dense and pure than whatever Mana was on this Island.

And so through that connection, Christopher could draw upon imnse amounts of Mana to aid him at any point in ti.

Seeing the masked individual walk forward, the leading Voidwalker tilted his head.

"Drear isn't it? I didn't expect to see you here. But then again it shouldn't be too surprising." He spoke calmly and all gazes fell on Christopher, so were curious and others were suspicious.

Christopher rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck.

"You guys have been harassing for more than a month. And when I decide to do sothing else you just have to co and crash the place. To be honest, I'm really annoyed with you and your group." He said calmly and the Voildwalker laughed.

"Is that so? Well I'll have to apologise. On the bright side, this seems to be the last ti such a situation would occur." His tone was polite, but the aning was clear. Join us or die here.

Christopher chuckled. He considered his usual offer of Submit or Die. But he figured that, with his position, they'd just laugh at him.

'Well, it is what it is. Might as well just vent.' As he had this thought, he stretched out his hand and a light shone before his weapon, Scarlet appeared, the chain attached to its base wrapping around his arm. Though it seed dull with the lack of Mana.

When it appeared, the eyes of Paul narrowed before suddenly widening.

"... It Can't be." He mumbled.

"You truly intend to fight." The Leading Voidwalker said with a sigh.

"Unfortunate, but I suppose you'd make a good scapegoat to let the other people here realise that resistance is futile." He said and Christopher shook his head.

"You talk too much." And then, without wasting anymore ti, he drew upon a large amount of Mana from his Dinsion.

Due to how dense the Mana within his Dinsion was, his body was invigorated in an instant. And soon, the Mana started to overflow.

Everyone's eyes widened when they sensed the incredibly rich and dense Mana erupt from Christopher's body.

Imdiately, the anti-mana effect of the cubes began to combat this influx of Mana. But unlike last ti, the Mana wasn't pushed back in the slightest. It was so rich and dense that even under the combined assault of multiple of the cubes, it didn't show any signs of dissipating.

"Incredible." Aisha mumbled with disbelief.

"Such pure Mana. How is that even possible?" Near the back Zephyr spoke with an incredulous tone. He was a dragon who was seen as a child of Mana yet he doubted even his Majesty had Mana that was even remotely close to the purity this human displaying.

"... I see you have so tricks up your sleeve." The Voidwalker spoke, his tone sharp.

"Kill him." He ordered without hesitation and the groups of traitors rushed forward, their Auras erupting as they closed in on Christopher.

So of them used powerful ranged attacks while others went straight in. Christopher was a threat that needed to be neutralized, so none of them pulled their punches.

However,at the last possible mont, a thin film of blood suddenly appeared between Christopher and the attacks.

Each attack landed hard on the barrier causing it to shake and crack. But it held true.

"I know you said we should protect those guys, but I kinda wanna fight next to you." Belladonna, who was holding the Vermillion Reapers, strode up beside him and said calmly.

Christopher gazed at her before saying.

"Um, no. The order still applies." He said without hesitation.

"Aw what?!" The Vampire exclaid, clearly not expecting to be rejected so swiftly.

At that mont, the barrier started to break and Christopher looked forward, giving her no room to argue.

She pouted behind her mask before decisively retreating.

Everyone was shocked that Belladonna was able to use the sa pure Mana as Christopher, but they soon realised that it was the sa for every mber of his cohort.

However, since they were connected to Christopher via the Dinsion, it wasn't odd that they too could draw upon the brilliant Mana that resided within.

As such, they could use magic no problem as well. And to an even higher degree since the Mana they used was so pure. After All, the purer the Mana, the better the quality of the magic.

'Master! Can we get to killing now?!' Christopher chuckled at the impatient voice of his weapon.

'Yes yes. We can get to killing.' His reply caused the blade to transmit a deep childlike joy in his mind that caused him to grin.

After that, Christopher did a few things right before the barrier fully collapsed.

First, he activated the effects of his equipnt, the Mask of the Drear and his Jormungandr's Mantle were turned on.

Imdiately he did so, his body seed to beco slightly illusory and blurry, like a Mirage. And if one took their eyes off him for just an instant, they'd question if he had even been there at all.

Also, a cloud of Baleful poison appeared around his figure. When it appeared the ground beneath his feet started to corrode and even space started to gain a sickly green hue as one passive effect of the armour had been activated.

Then, Christopher began to get serious.

'It's about ti I went all out with all the ans at my disposal.' As he had that thought, his Mana began to soar as he mumbled.

"Elental fusion." All of this happened in the span of a second.

Suddenly, wisps of darkness and electricity surged around his sword, then the two destructive elents fused, behind terrifying black electricity that crackled on the surface of the blade.

Then, wisps of light and fire also surged around his body and his hair moved as if blown by wind.

The two elents fused to create white fire that was different from the one Christopher used before. It was still terrifying hot, but it also possessed the light attribute, not only making it terrifying towards normal enemies, but anything with an elent remotely related to darkness as well.

The flas covered his body and blazed with incredible brilliance, as such, he had an aura around him reminiscent of a certain character who scread a lot.

But he still wasn't done.

He snapped his fingers and his runes condensed to create two clones that looked identical to him, but also a bit different.

One of them had icy blue hair and in his hands. A pair of exquisitely made daggers with the sa color could be seen. And on the other side, the clone had bright green hair and wielded A staff that shone with an invigorating light.

Then, Christopher held out his free hand and a brilliant multicoloured totem pole appeared in it.

He stick it into the ground and imdiately he did, it shone brightly before getting off a pulse that covered him and his cohort.

Imdiately, they felt their strength rise tenfold And their Auras beca even more vibrant.

At this point, the blood barrier finally shattered. However, the instant it did, the two attackers at the forefront found their heads rolling to the floor while the ranged attacks dissipated before even touching Christopher.

"Now then." Christopher held Scarlet in a two handed grip as he entered a stance.

"How about I pay back with so interest huh?"
