Into the Realm I
"Haa~ Haa~" Titus imdiately fell down to a knee the mont he touched the ground.
He wasn't too low on Mana, but everything else had bottod out.
Being in such a high state of concentration for an extended period was bound to take its toll on his mind. Not to ntion his body.
Sure, he sohow managed not to take a direct hit from Lenax, but the shockwaves, ice, and glancing hits he'd endured made him feel like he was about to fall apart.
'And I took the least damage of everyone here.' Titus cringed when he realised that fact.
Well, Aisha and the femake Centaur took the least damage since they didn't actually participate directly, but both of them were definitely spent when it ca to Mana.
Everyone else just looked horrible. The dragons were barely alive, and the people each leader had brought with them couldn't even stand anymore.
Titus glanced at Felicia and noticed she had her eyes closed, but even then, the clear Crimson streak of blood stread down her face. Obviously, she had overused her ability.
There was also the severe frostbite on certain parts of her body, and if not for the fact that one's vitality grew along with their strength, she'd have to have a good chunk of skin removed and a few lines severed.
The others weren't much better off either, and it was clear that anymore, and people would have started dropping.
But they had won.
Slowly, Titus stood up and looked straight up, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath.
The air was frigid and stabbed at his lungs as he inhaled, but even then, it still tasted sweet.
When he reopened his eyes, he was startled when their target, the big blue crystal, was already directly in front of him, its surface pulsing with powerful frost energy.
'What is-' Before he could finish his train of thought, Veylthar suddenly appeared in his hand on its own accord. And before he could say anything, the crystal pulsed again before shattering into bright blue dust.
And then, everyone watched in shock as this dust flowed into the blade of the sword, which devoured it greedily.

"Phew, so they finally did it." Christopher sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned into his chair.
He'd been following the training of his soldiers from the beginning, though naturally, the mont Titus joined in, most of his attention was drawn to him.
He watched as Titus led his company through different trials and slowly got stronger while increasing his understanding of his sword and slowly acclimated it to his strength.
It was a grueling process, but an effective one.
'Aisha surprised , though.' Christopher chuckled. The one within the space where the training was taking place was indeed the true body of Aisha, but she held back and acted far better than he had imagined she would.
He had purposely sent the girl there to manipulate the events of the training to achieve the outco that had occurred. Not that he couldn't do it by himself, but he felt like the whole thing would do her good as well, which it did.
Then there was Lenax's clone.
'The guy does not know how to pull his punches.' Christopher sighed. He had told Lenax to send a clone of his choosing to act as the final boss for the training, but he had never specified how strong the clone should have been.
'45% power was pretty evil. But they managed to co out on top in the end, i guess.' Indeed, Lenax had sent a clone that possessed 45% of his power. And while that wasn't anywhere near his full power, since every percentage increase was an exponential increase, it was still a crazy amount.
Otherwise, how would Zephyr, the right-hand Dragon of the Dragon Queen Lihanna, get folded so badly?
Christopher had considered stopping the training halfway or forcefully weakening the clone, but it seed as though the dragon had more trust in its younger disciple than Christopher did, as everything turned out okay in the end.
'And by Veylthar absorbing that Frigid Nexus, Titus should have awakened another of its skills or two. Moreover, that strange ability of his should co closer to awakening.' Christopher thought with so anticipation.
He naturally knew about the strange dormant ability Titus possessed and was very keen on having him awaken it and utilise it to its full effects. Though he suspected that he would only be able to do so when he reached the Apex rank.
Still. With the place they were going to be entering soon, Christopher would have a lot of opportunities to grow the Primordial Expanse.
Titus aside, he had made the entire training as harsh as he did because he was a bit concerned.
It was unlikely, but he had no idea whether or not the link between his subordinates and the Primordial Expanse would be as strong or even existent when they entered the Realm gate.
As such, he was preparing for possible scenarios, such as if the link was cut, which would force them to rely on their personal energy reserves instead of the endless supply that was his dinsion.
It wasn't the entire army that participated in the sa region as Titus and the others as they were split apart and put into different ice type regions with different challenges. So groups succeeded, and so groups failed. But they were ultimately improving.
Those individuals who 'died' during the training would be healed up and sent back to start training again, drawing upon their past experiences to improve themselves.
And considering the ti dilation, they were getting a lot done in an extrely short amount of ti, and we're already becoming an elite army in just a short period with Christopher's help. It was definitely exciting to see.
It was a lot, but it was all worth it.
'With nice timing too.' Christopher sighed as he stood up.
From the images that Aisha relayed to him, Christopher could see that the Realm gate was going to open any second now.
'Master Master! Can I start killing again?!' Scarlet's excited voice echoed in his mind, and Christopher really shouldn't be chuckling at such a question, but he couldn't help it. He sounded too adorable.
"Yes, yes. We'll get to killing soon, so you won't have to be idle anymore." A wave of excitent washed over him, and another soft voice sounded in his mind.
'I'll make sure Master doesn't miss any good opportunities.' Norn's voice was as soft as ever, but it was filled with determination.
'I'll hold you to that.' Christopher nodded and sighed before looking up, as if his gaze was capable of piercing through the folds of space to transcend it and see what lay beyond.

Back in outer space where the Realm gate stood, the swirling track in reality was pusling with otherworldly energy, crackles of cold lightning erupting from it from ti to ti carrying temperatures that made absolute zero look like a warm sunny day.
By now, all the ships belonging to the different forces in the Supercluster had all gathered up and waited patiently for the Realm gate to open.
At the forefront. The ships belonging to the three clans of the Scions.
The Domitor Clan, where Jenny was from, the Starwalker clan where Constella was from, and the Corruptionists, where Vazar stemd from.
The three groups of ships floated the closest to the terrifying crack, which should have been unwise considering just how dangerous the arts of frost lightning were. But each of the three groups had a sovereign who calmly deflected the stray attacks away and kept the ships safe.
Still, as more ti passed, the energy beca more and more unbearable. And those who didn't know any better would think that the Realm gate was about to explode.
And then abruptly, it ceased.
The Realm gate was no longer spewing out terrible cold energy. And it no linger looked like a terrifying crack in space. Instead, it looked like a massive, swirling portal.
Light years in diater with a radiant, pale blue light, it looked beautiful, to say the least.
The portal had finally opened and was now possible to go into.
Without wasting any ti, the three groups of ships belonging to the Scions started to move.
The Sovereigns belonging to the three clans followed the ships until they were right in front of the portal, and the ships passed through smoothly. The Sovereigns, however, stopped just before reaching the portal and turned around to face the other ships calmly. Waiting to see if anyone was dumb enough to try and pass through before the Scion ships.
Fortunately, though, no one was dumb enough to try and provoke a Sovereign...
Almost everyone.
Unseen by all, a small speck the Suze of a sand grain calmly passed by the Sovereigns and entered the portal, and they were none the wiser.
